I got on methadone and Xanax for my anxiety and pain. I use to self medicate with heroin . I'm finally closer to God. I wish I wasn't on medication I came to terms without can't even leave my house .I do not abuse my medicine at ALL. I

God delivered me from the gay lifestyle 10 years ago, plus alcohol, cigarettes and gay porn. He had mercy on me. I grew up in the church since I was 5 years old when I gave my heart to the Lord. In my 20s I was addicted to alcohol, cigarettes and drugs. I had lustful thoughts since I was young and gave into it in my late 20s, lived as a gay man for many years. I was severely addicted to that lifestyle and porn. I praise God for His Mercy!!!

My greatest sin was not my life of drugs and alcohol void of faith, it was my failure to teach my children to know, to love and to fear the most high God, then humbling themselves on bended knees repenting with all their hearts for forgiveness seeking Jesus Christ's grace, I know from scripture Christ promises to forgive me for this sin but it's hard to forgive myself.
I can certainly understand.....I felt the same way but I have to rely upon Jesus Love for me to get me thru everyday that I won't beat myself up everyday for all my failures.......My prayer for you and me for Our Father to help us to cling to Him and forgive ourselves as we learn and grow in The Word...

Brother if you are unable to forgive yourself how do you expect Christ to forgive you?
Yes He does forgive you but you need to play your part otherwise your children won’t have a godly dad on earth and they will have trouble being a blessing to their children and their children’s children and so on until the Lord comes!

As a Father you can still reach your children. Many people are not as blessed like you to know their mistakes and take accountability for them. They can learn from you. During my bad days I always have a Bible verse that I can read. I know it is from God. We all have struggles because we are sinners. You will be okay, keep reaching your children. I wish I had that. I listen to preaching almost 12-15 hrs a day, 5 days a week. (Im a Trucker).. I've heard nearly every Preacher available on CZcams.. I have to say, Pastor Lawson is by far my favorite. He is Passionate, knows The Word & Loves the LORD.. He also preaches on subjects that most WOULDN'T TOUCH.

These statistics do nothing but give people anxiety. IMO if you dont have a solution don't give the message. The anwser for all he mentioned is deliverence. Every single one. Jesus spent over 80% of His ministry healing the sick, and pay attention in Mark, Matt, Luke, every time He healed someone, he casted an unclean spirit out. I've done it myself and it works like you wouldn't beleive. Any ministery that does not do deliverance, heal the sick, is a minestry absolutely Not following our Shepard's example of an earthly ministry. When you have a personal relationship with God you don't need to worry about the Gov't. Church in this country needs to be knocked down stones and all to get the sickeness from Leviticus out of it, and rebuilt on the Rock, Jesus Christ, with the Fear of our Father and the understanding that His Holy Spirit should be leading every message.

@@ruaidhri777 as i understood the fellowship is the church and God is everywhere except for a manmade building (i think it means builduings for religions churches temples etc.) so it means to me that a church can be your living room as soon as it is filled witth fellow christians brothers and sisters.
Ruaidhrí Ó Dálaigh The church is the last place you want to be. Relegions were created so that masses of people would commit idolatry, the sin Our Father hates the most. What happens when you sin? You give authority to an unclean spirit to enter your flesh suit. Folks you have to remember we are Spirit beings occupying a flesh tower. Your spirit man will go on to live forever once the flesh is dead. Our Father's entire creation that we don't see is the real creation. When He says He is going to reap the earth, and seperate the wheat from the chaff, everyone is thinking in a fleshly mindset. He is talking about seperating your spirit man from the other spirits in your flesh. The flesh cannot inherit the kingdom of God.
Once you realize the real battle is about your spirit, in the spirit world as ephisians tells us, as so many hints in the bible tell us, especially the new testament. Why do you think the spirit occupying the people we call Jews hate the New Covenant or New Testament so much? Because it was made with a peculiar people 1Peter 2:9, a chosen nation, a royal priesthood, which is not your flesh but your spirit man Peter is talking about. How is your flesh going to be a royal priest, and inherit God's kingdom? The flesh cannot. So who will?
Get it? The Old Testament or really First Covenant was made between God and and His 12 tribes. The New Covenant wad made between Jesus and us. Hence why they hate us so much. Its too long to explain here but the anwsers are all in the bible just remember you will not see them unless you pray to God for Him to show it to you through His Spirit in you, you get yourself cleaned of all wicked Spirits occupying your flesh so they cannot stop you from having the will to see it. As for your church question....
Matthew 18:20- For where 2 or 3 are gathered in my Name, there I Am in their midst.
See even the word "midst" is a clue. Now you can get an idea of why Jesus is hated so much buy certain nations or groups of Spirits...
PS. You can never see the truth, Father's Spirit can never open the truth if you beleive the lies. Our Father's precious Spirit cannot dwell with spirits, elohym of deception and lies. He is too clean and righteous for this. Once you understand this you will understand why deception is running rampant across this place, more and more desception is created every minute, and why Jesus and the Awesome the Amazing Apostles warned us about being Deceived so much in so many places. Father bless you all who read this and fill you with His righteous Truth and Word.

Don't judge others because they don't abstain from it. It depends on how you use it. You have to be careful how you use it. You can use it the right way, or the wrong way. But if you are going to judge people who's opinions differ from yours, that's wrong. He's only giving the dark side of it, and there is a dark side, I can't deny that. But don't tell me I'm sinning by using it. He's using the social media platform as a tool for outreach.

100,000 christians around the world are brutally martyred annually as a direct result of professing faith in Jesus Christ. I think they are perhaps more deserving of our prayers than you! That should shame all of us comfortable Christians, don't you think? Perspective makes us far more appreciative, and tends to draw our attention away from ourselves...thus making us "content in our own situation", as Paul would testify to.

Good Lord, my head hurts. No peace. I miss the old days when my mind wasn't like this.
So many of us have an addiction. It's hard to see so many Christians that deny their addictions instead of asking him for his help. The only peace we will ever know is the peace found in Christ. I've been in bad places, I've had bad times, childhood wasn't the best, but God placed my siblings and I by a church. Growing up we attended with no adults. They would be drunk, and partying, and their children should never miss a service. My point is that even though God will let us be in bad situations at times he ALWAYS makes a way for YOU to have peace. Had I not known him from childhood, I wouldn't have known where I needed to turn. All in God's time, he will call us one by one to him, and I pray that all that's called has had that blessing of knowing him, and they will know when to turn to him. Blessings.

1. A craving for the object of addiction (not at peace without it, have to have it)
2. They lose control over its use (eventually come to the point where you can't live without it)
3. Knowing full well despite any consequences, you're going to do it anyway.
I pray for anyone struggling with any addiction, that you will let it go completely, and let Christ fill that craving with HIMSELF.

I always like his preaching even if there may be some disagreement. We should keep them in our prayers- however: They may not all get married. Some kids stay single for ever and do better, that is in the scripture- by the way: That is a different topic to itself.

I'm 32 now and I'm struggling with addiction in my life with certain things that I know that are wrong and that I know that I should not be struggling with it. But I'm also not perfect in any way what so ever. But I'm ashamed of myself and I have been for quite some time now, but what I will ask is for some prayers 🙏 please, and I am a Christian and a follower of our lord and savior Jesus christ. But I am also a human being too as well, but over the years life has gotten harder on me in this old world that we all live in. And it's so easy to grab on to the addiction to whatever it may be at that time. For if christ before us than who can be against us. Life is a hard one for me these days, it's most definitely alot harder than I ever thought that it would ever be now that I think of it.

I am addicted to stimulants amphetamines. I understand the substance well and I am a believer in Jesus Christ. I say to myself and I really believe that I'd die on the street with a gun on my face but not deny Him. Merely all the time I stay home, reading the Bible. Most of it, I listen sermons. I don't sleep 2,3,4 days in a roll. I pray every day and weeping every day. I'm doing basically almost all the time that. I find peace in the Word of God.. but the problem, I think the main one is that Im calm when I use drugs. I mean, I don't like drugs, I don't want it, I hate them, never thought drugs are something good. For me they always were a crap. But see, I use them like 3 or 4 years now and I smoke cigarettes. I don't drink or using other substances. I want to quit, I pray to quit,.. when stop for 2,3,4 days that I sleep mostly haplens this: can't sleep no more, I don't want, im almost physically dead from 3 days in bed, but I'm hurying from lying. I don't want drugs in that moment, but I dont find physical strength to stand even, it's hard, Im sleepy. But I can't sleep. If I fall asleep it's for 5 mins and wake up with thoughts about my past, ppl I lost, ppl I care and mostly my fears are that they are not saved. It's burning me in my chest and I can't even stay in one place.. I get angry and in anguish. I start to yell, hut the walls, broke my hand several times from punches and it this moments the one thing that comes in my mind is that i get amphetamins because I know I will calm, I know I will not be sleepy and I know that I'm going to do things I do, and as I told you, Im mostly listening to sermons. I feel lost and without a way to go. I KNOW JESUS CHRIST IS MY LORD AND SAVIOR. ID DIE RIFHT NOW AND GO TO HIM IN A MOMENT! I WANT THIS END!
But when this day come im week. God, im week. And I try to fight, I try, God I tried once even for the whole night to lay down and pray and pray and I calm.. but the moment I close my eyes, I open them and it's again.. I stop praying and It gets me by the throat..
It comes to the point that I use drugs now every day.. Im afraid of that moment.. And I know I shouldn't, I know God got this.. but Im afraid of the pain.. I know that's Satan and I know I'm sining and I would never call a sin "not a sin". I try to convince myself that it's one side useful cause I get lots of time without sleep 3,4 days and Im in the Word.. but I know in my heart that Jesus Christ didn't died SO I USE DRUGS to go to Him ;(.. God, I know it, I know that He is enough..!
But understand me, when that moment comes when I don't wanna go to sleep, Im losing control, I think but Im so much angry of myself and of the situation that It's like struggling for breath.. and believe me, I litteraly start feeling like the air isn't enough. Iylts like a panic attack, but it's somethig to else and its Spiritual Warfare and I know that.
And I need help.. from my Savior!
And I feel Iack somewhere cause I know He can deliver me in a moment. The worst part is that I know I can do more and I think I know what little steps tk do, but Im giving up that. And i dontbtalk in crisis.. I talk to moment like now where I can think calm..

Hello there this is a powerful sermon I once had an addiction to pornography, in my unregenerate state. I even told other people that I did more than just look at it I even masturbated to it as well as to a bunch of other stuff, I admit as a born again Christian I was wrong doing all that. It isn't even worth living like that anymore I remember a question asked by a pastor who is dead right now the question was, are the things you are living for worth Christ dying for? It is quite a question really that is one thing I have been focusing on these is living for things that are worth the Savior dying for.

@@vinize Yes it is a terrible addiction it is also a demonic stronghold, before I had asked the Savior to fight Satan for me and after that I have been coming out of that stronghold I had longed to be free and now thanks to the Father Son and Holy Ghost I can have freedom from sin.

The small size of his congregation is a sad commentary on the current state of Christianity. Twenty or so years ago, people would have lined up around the block twice to hear such unadulterated preaching; these days, not so much. I have mix feelings about child correcting in the educational system.
I was abused by some adults. I was almost emotionally destroyed. Only by the grace of God, I turned out ok.
I was a timid child growing up, and they preyed on me, whether consciously or unconsciously they gave me the bottom of their foot as a child.
I do believe that bad attitudes in adults without confession, do promote bad behavior in children.
Addiction is the righteous punishment of God. Romans 1:24 "Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts", that is love, true love in righteous judgement. It is fair warning to those who read the Holy Bible or who are correctly taught by it. It should be the first thing people hear the passage of Romans 1:18-32. Simply the state of those "Professing themselves to be wise".
@Pitbull18 I expect to be held accountable and warn others of the same, as you do. For that I hold out my hand to shake.
I am studying the influence of Augustine and his gnosticism now, how the Reformation was a Gnostic take over started by Augustine. I have two more reforms to Protestism to bring it in line with the Holy Bible KJV, Praeterism and Double Justification. Augustine managed through Luther to remove the need for sanctification and justification in salvation.
I do not mislead as you might recheck Romans as it is a general epistle "To all that be in Rome", and "who hold the truth in unrighteousness", "so that they are without excuse".
There is one Creator God, one Lord Jesus Christ his Son, and the Holy Spirit of the Creator God. Not three persons, but a holy trinity of relevant authorities specified in their jurisdictions by Romans. Not the Holy Trinity of RC.
@Pitbull18 yes Jesus was the Express Image or Revealed Image of God, the Word or Wisdom of God, a man born of a woman as a prophet from his brethren. The Trinity are the three relevant authorities (in their name) we are baptised. Jesus revealed God the Father and his seven spirits, but Jesus added another, the spirit of truth. The seven spirits are in the Torah, but the spirit t of truth is in the gospels, you heard that here first.
God made all things for himself, but the man Jesus inherited all things as his Son, and we his kinsmen benefit as he took away the curse of death for ALL.
Jesus sits at the right hand of God as our high priest. The God of Abraham known a YHVH is not a three in one, but one God. Jes s was a man, raised by his Father as the first fruit of resurrection.
@Pitbull18 the Spirit of truth is the spiritual Torah, only expressed by Jesus, as only Jesus sanctified himself in the truth. The Torah had the truth, but Jesus revealed the Spirit of truth, how to abide in the truth as a man. The Spirit of truth is all the spirits brought together.
There are three named by Jesus, they are authorities, three acting as one is a Trinity. But they are not three persons, and not three God's, but all three are holy. An invisible holy Creator, whose Wisdom was revealed by the man Jesus in holiness, and the Holy Spirit now represented by believers. Certainly not the Roman Catholic version seemingly adopted by Protestants, but a holy threesome nonetheless.
@Pitbull18 mostly I agree with you but in a couple of points I may not.
Do I detect that you don't believe in free will, in that we have an inability to sin, or just that our will has been replaced? I do believe always in total free will, and sin is by choice.
Also Jesus surely is not our Father. Jesus is the Son of God, and we can become adopted Sons or daughters, as Jesus is the revealed image of God but is not ever a Father.
And I am sure I am guided in my conscience by the Holy Spirit, but still choose myself to obey, knowing I would be wrong if I didn't. Else how could I be judged if failure was not my fault.
@Pitbull18 well Jesus asked us to pray to our Father in heaven, the same Father he prayed to. Jesus inherits the title of God next t the being of God. God is d was Lord, but Jesus is now Lord. God can be a title and a description. God the Creator is our Father, and the Father of Jesus. I pray to Jesus as the Holy Spirit was sent in his name (authority) as John 14:26, Jesus is Lord. I am glad you said we are able to choose.

If it weren't for Jesus Christ and the message of the Gospel, I would have become a menace to humanity. Thank you for bringing us the most precious Word of God! It took many decades for change and healing to take place, but God is still completing His work in my life.

I was watching the local news this morning and it showed the winner of last night's winner of the NASCAR race in Bristol, 08/16/19.
The car had the words, "The Beast" printed in large letters on it. It was shown spinning around in the victory circle and burning it's tires upon the pavement.This is an omen of what is soon coming upon the whole earth as prophesied in the Holy Bible. The Beast will win for a few years and he shall burn and crush many underneath.
