Appetite for Destruction was one of my first albums that I got on CD when it became available. I absolutely LOVED the sound of Steven Adler's snare on that record. I give 100% props to Pascal for being able to replicate the sound of Adler's snare almost perfectly. Awesome ass performance
That snare sound is close. Very close. I read that Adler used a Tama Brass Bell. If that's true, the only snare to sound just like it would be another Tama Brass Bell. It's legendary and nothing can duplicate it perfectly. The newer ones aren't the same.
That’s like asking them to do tommy lees drumset, probably won’t most likely happen cause his stuff is so big and custom let alone he goes upside down. Same thing with rockenfield. He’s got those custom chains ⛓ for his cymbals. Prolly gunna be hard to replicate that and that’s gunna take time and money. Many of other drummers to be covered. But I’m sure in the future they both will get covered if this channel launches 🚀 and makes some good money. This is already a boss ass drum channel. I’m glad we get any renditions of any drummer.
Awesome as usual Couldn't hear the kick very well in the full mix. What's that around the cowbell or is it part of the bell itself. Loved that Adler mixed in quite a bit of the cowbell in heavy rock music
As a new drummer, this is a genuine question. Is the sound of these drums altered/engineered in any way when producing the video or does he have the drums tuned perfectly to sound exactly like the studio recording?
