I am watching from Ireland and just can’t get over the amount of skate parks and spots in California. Also wood ward is like a dream . It’s so far out of reality to what is In Ireland. Just think about this there are 0 indoor skate parks in Ireland . I hope to change that soon .
Is there much of a skate scene in Ireland?, I live in Yorkshire in England, there's loads of outdoor skateparks and a few indoor ones but you don't see too many people on skateboards, tends to be loads of scooters and the odd BMX/ jumpbike 🤷♂️
@@unknownentity524 there seems to be a small community. We have one decent skate shop in Dublin that’s just for skateboarding. We have a few skate parks out door but they are mostly metal ramps with the exception of one or two decent concrete parks . But Ireland rains from September to march/April. So we definitely need an indoor park. But I just don’t think it would last as people in Ireland hate paying for anything and expect everything to be free .
It's cool to see the difference in levels of skating. Chris I see as a more than good mini ramp/bowl/Street skater where as Matthew I see as a full on transition guy. Both are obvs transition guys but have different flairs about them. You can even add Dan into the mix who I see as street/good at mini/transition, its all completely different. Matthew is absolutely insane with the stuff he does , and it takes someone as good as Chris (who I respect extremely for his bag of mixed skills in both areas and with that huge board) for me to fully comprehend the gnarliness of whats happening. You Powell boys go hard I can't lie!! Love the content bro 👊🏾
I never get tired of watching Matt skate. He is so adaptive , no tranny too small or tight. If he can ride up it, he can air it. He must be influencing so many younger kids to try out vert skating, which is cool. All fprms of skating together keep it well rounded and diverse. Great skater.

In the 80's, it was always sick to see the Powell dudes rollin' their experimental decks, kinda like a preview of the next model...Chris's decks have been taking me back to that thw last few months. That new diamond nose variation looks sick! Gonna be cool to see the final pro model.

I know how they would go higher, they roll in right where the ramp goes by the wall, go down the transition, and carve the whole curve, then go back up transition might be a little steep, might need to go full speed just for the momentum
