BORN AGAIN is a collection of the greatest sounds ever recorded by humans
It really is one if not their tightest album. I loved the dio and martin stuff but their albums always had a few filler songs.
Tony's posting this to test the crowd reaction to the possibility of a remix. He's got my attention. I love "Born Again" so YES!!!!! Please give us Born again in the Deluxe Box Set treatment. ❤❤❤
Bro I love the original sound in this record a new remix wil be very dissapoiment for me.
@@Myselfnotme I know what you mean. The sound of Born Again is what makes it really underground and evil sounding. But I am interested what a Remix would sound like. 😊
@@Myselfnotme well the tony martin albums also sounded fine, but the remix still turned out very good
@@8o86The result in the recording of Born Again is considered something of a failure but this lucky mistake gave it a unique and sinister atmosphere. Born Again is a very very particular case compared to the sound of the Martin era recordings.
This is a obvious sign of the new Born Again remix!! 🤘🏻🔥
@@independenceltd. I think this video is the 2011 remaster. There has been talk by Tony that he wants to remix and remaster the album. A remix would offer the chance to more significantly change the sound of the album compared to a remaster alone. I hope it happens!
@@independenceltd.this isn’t a REMIX obviously IF it did it would’ve said so, this is just the remastered audio from 2011 Deluxe Edition
Rhyming no tequila with no tequila = god tier
True story apparently! Driving an old car around the grounds of the place they were staying at, car and driver both trashed!
What do you expect from the band that rhymes their Masses withs black Masses?
that guitar and bass duo is vicious . Don't git no gooder.
With respect to every single Black Sabbath album that was released previously, Born Again is easily my favourite.
Born again s hard ass kicking LP. I have My soft spot for the tunes in it, since they made me grew along with some friends and inspired us to smoke pot and play heavy rock and rolling music. Good stuff, great times.
Disturbing the Priest is one of my all time favorite Sabbath songs. I had the Born Again cassette as young lad and wore it out I played it so much.
Seriously one of Black Sabbath's best albums! I wish more Ian Gillan/Sabbath albums could have been made!
This album scared the crap out of even the metalheads.
When I bought this album back in the day, my wife would listen to it with me, but she refused to look at the album cover. I had to turn it over or cover it when she was in the room - LOL. (And now you know how ancient I am that I was already married when this came out)
by far the best black sabbath album.....from the Ian era
This my favorite Sabbath record. The riffs, the lyrics, the vocals. That album cover is bad ass too. I would say this is an under appreciated album but the fact is a lot of fans and famous musicians praise this album.
After Ozzie and Dio this album was a masterpiece. I love it.
I can't explain how much I love this song and the "Born Again" record. Simply amazing!
This album is a timeless masterpiece.
"Disturbing the Priest" is in my top 5 favorite songs of all time. I think it's Gillan's greatest work. The way he sings the line "If you're ready and have the need, I'll take your soul and plant my seed oooohhhhh". No one could do it that great.. no one. The man sang the part of Jesus on Jesus Christ Superstar and Satan on this album. The only one who could imo.
@@gl3605 *John Christ admitted himself that **_Disturbing the Priest_** was the main inspiration for **_Her Black Wings_** by Danzig.*
Very heavy album. Ian Gillan on vocals is perfect. This song is an incredible opening for this super album 🤘👹🤘
GILLAN STILL RULES! 7.9.24!
This was one of the songs off the original "Masters of Metal" compilations. 👍👍
Would love to hear a remix of Born Again with the extended versions of 'Stonehenge' 'Zero the Hero' and 'The Fallen'
This album is outrageously heavy and somehow majestically shadowy. In Sabbath we trust !
The first Sabbath record I bought at the tender age of fourteen.
Same here, but I was just twelve! It helped me survive a rotten middle school year more than anything else.
Geezer gave me the bitter beer face when I told him that I absolutely loved this album, with the singer for one of my favorite bands joining with another favorite . I think he's even come around at this point.
I think it's more that he doesn't consider it Sabbath. He doesn't see Cross Purposes as Sabbath, either, but says it's good.
@@MrLtia1234 Have you ever met and talked with Tony and Geezer about it?
@@PurpleHounding What an odd thing to say - I'm just going on what Geezer has said in interviews and in his book.
@@MrLtia1234 I have talked with both of them, that's why. This really all depends on how they are approached about it and the vibe put forth to them over it. Sometimes the interviewer controls the room, sometimes they don't and sometimes you can't tell which. I'm not buying it, they've both spoken no ill of it to me.
The most heaviest and dark album, that Black Sabbath have ever made. Now, will got even better !
I absolutely cannot wait for this remix to come out.
@@azwris You really cant correct the problems with this mix with a remaster.
@@azwrisI think they would have to remix it because the mix they have wasn’t recorded correctly
Iommi only found the original masters a few years back, and I believe it's eventually getting a remix and remaster.
@@Stefan- You're absolutely correct. A remaster is only going to accentuate the faults in the mix. It needs an entirely new mix.
Pray to the God of Metal this album gets the treatment it deserves. 🤘🏻
There was no tequila!
Love this song, love the entire album.
This album is another Masterpiece!
Saw this tour in Montréal, Canada. Nazareth was the opener. I can still hear Gillan's screams.
Dude I saw it in Ottawa maybe a day or 2 later. My first concert. Soooooo loud!!! Great show. There’s full footage of Montreal show on CZcams
I still remember the chorus to “Zero the Hero” from the concert even though the album hadn’t been released yet.
This is one the most underrated albums ever made. A true raw gem some music critics and fans will never understand.
OOOOOHHHHH HELL YEAAAAH THE MASTER TONY IOMMI TAKING CONTROL OF EVERYTHING I LOVE IT
One of the best metal albums of all time. All my old school metal buddies love this album. It's our favorite. 🤘🔥⛧️💀
"Trashed" is a killer opening song. Its kind of like a scarier "Highway Star" meets "Turn On The Night" on a highway leading straight into hellfire and as urgent and deadly sounding as a tornado of fire. "Born Again" is without a doubt one of the heaviest albumsin Black Sabbath history. It wasnt just that Ian Gillan wasin his tip top vocal prime and singing as if the devil possessed his soul, thw whole band is pounding like a jackhammer on solid steel. The riffs are all evil and the solos sound chillingly demonic. The keyboard sound is evil. The bass is evil. The album cover us one of my favorite of all time out of any music. I have a lifesize tapestry ofit in my house! I actually like the production too, especially in the remastered version.
Such a great album
Saw sabbath in concert, in Vegas!great show!〽️🤺
Is born again remix comming next?????
HANDS DOWN.NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALL HEAVY SOUND.🤘🏻👹
It’s happening!
Got this cassette for my 13th birthday from my mum, still have it alongside everything else important in my life
I had the cassette too! Unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to get it from my mom. She didn't approve of the cover so I had to buy it with my allowance. I road my bike up to the record store and had to smuggle it in the house, lol.
Ian Gillan put his soul into this album
Such a great song, A league album. I love the baby pic of Sharon Osbourne on the cover
Sod it I'm OLD.... I was 17 yo borrowed my mates CB250twin & rode up to Reading Rock Festival where Sabbath played the album Born Again, complete with large Styrofoam StoneHenge! The Stranglers headlined the Friday night, Sabbath on Saturday & Thin Lizzy played the Sunday night.
Happy Days.
I honestly LOVE this album cover! 🤘😎
Gillan said when he first seen it he almost puked. Then when he listened to the album he did. I don't know, I think it's a good album.
This album is an Underrated Classic!!! I always loved it🤘🤘😈
BORN AGAIN! 🔥
This album was so bad ass. I remember listening to it as a kid and this song always stuck with me. This and Zero the Hero
I love this bloody album, scariest riffs ever.
this line up was AMAZING we needed more of Iommi and Ian \m/ .. \m/
What a band.
MY FAVORITE ALBUM
oh my god tony dont scare us like that man i got excited for a second
I love this album! I saw this tour in Chicago back '83 at UIC Pavilion, excellent show!
ZERO THE HERO LETS GO❤
I love this this album's production, raw, mean, evil and obscure as metal should be! I hope they release more live recording from this tour as well as the unmixed demos. Definitely this is not the kind of production that Taylor Swift fans would enjoy.
O.M.G.!!!!🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥🤘
I just wish they had done this song in concert!
This song was one of the very 1st music video’s I’d ever seen, once upon a night on MTV, back in the 80’s via satellite. 📡 ❤
Heaviest sabbath album since sabbath bloody sabbath
IAN GILLAN !!
Fantastic remix. It still bludgeons but now has a cutting guitar sound. Thank you Tony! 🙏
Of my my favourite solos ever! Bring the remix, Metal Highfather
Yes dude yes!
My memory of the first time I heard this song is so vivid it's almost scary
Bless you all
⚡️🤘⚡️
MISTER IOMMI SIR!!! PLEASE DROP US THE NEW MIX OF THIS UNDERVALUED MASTERPIECE I’M BEGGING YOU!! sincerely the biggest Born Again fan 💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️
Top notch album , up there with SBS and H & H , their best from their previous eras
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath s peak, but the best is Sabotage. You can't beat the anger and inspiration they had through really desperate times back then. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath showed to us the best Sabbath back then, and Sabotage was like PHUCK dat, PHUCK this label, and an all hell broke loose vibe from the band, and by extension into the songwriting. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath was the best they could work through coke fueled times, Sabotage was them separating the men from the boys while living a contractual and financial tragedy and being forced to carry on by management regardless on top off that. A national acrobat, the title track or sabbra cadabbra can't beat the writ. Hole in the sky s the most thunderous tune they could produce leaving that dark but tamed times of Cornucopia, electric funeral and songs alike.
First Sabbath album I ever owned
YES !! It's happening ! 🤘🏻🔥🔥🔥
IMHO, NOBODY sung the song Black Sabbath better and more diabolically than Ian Gillan.
Sounds a lot cleaner Tony! I can't wait for the rest!
Ian Gillan..........................................Ozzy, Dio?. GILLAN!
My Father Also Loves This Song
Ian Gillan is one of the best vocalists
One of Sabbath’s best MV 😎
my favorite born again song!!! 🤘🤘🔥🔥
Remember when this video was played in Headbanger's Ball. Good time.
I first heard this song, on the "Mighty Metal Hour" radio show on KMET in Los Angeles, hosted by Jim Ladd, RIP. The good 'ole days AND get off my lawn.
This still stands as my favorite Sabbath album of all time. Never can get enough of it.
Love this album 🤘
SI SEÑOR !!!!!!! IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITS TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMEEEEEE !!!!!
The best black sabbath album
This is sounding very good. Wore out a tape of this album back in the day. I like the rhythm guitar a bit higher in the mix, vocals and lead are reaching max levels. Drums and bass get pushed forward a bit in spots, really luv this.
"Born Again" is one of the most underrated Albums in Rock-History ! And Ian Gillan sounds never better than here.
Fantástic
Fredoonnnnnnn
👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱
My first Sabbath purchase. I was 17, and it blew my mind. I purchased it simply because of Ian Gillan and the Deep Purple connection.
Best album ever!!!! ❤❤
Born Again is such an awesome album. Its my favorite post Ozzy and Dio album followed by the Tony Martin albums.
I love that album sooooo much !!!! Words can't express my joy :D
Yes, Tony, we know what you mean. We loved the Anno Domini boxset, now give us the Born Again Remix!!
One of my favorites. Bill’s best drumming in my opinion.
Are u raving or what, u can't even hear the drums on this awful record.
@@martymartin2894 No, listen to this compared to H&H and NSD. He is really playing perfectly for the music. We will have to live with the sound for the time being. That is why i like this version.
I'm sure it was actually Bev Bevan from ELO who played the Drums on this album, tho Bill Ward is credited on the back cover!...Curious 🤔
Fantastic track from Era Gillan´s album. Very heavy.
I get a sense all non-Ozzy Sabbath audio/video will be hosted on the Iommi YT page...going forward
Al the other ones without Ozzy were shadow dropped onto the Black Sabbath channel.
Great song, I love it... 🤘🖤
Ian Is Super Demonic Vocalist.👿
Oh, I can't wait!
Awesome.
\M/. Got the deluxe version of this! So good!
Ah, the ‘80s. Remembering this from (I think) a K-Tel compilation cassette tape called “Masters of Metal”. This is a superior mix by far.
My impression is that the Anno Domini box set was more successful than expected. Maybe the excitement has given a boost to the making of the Born Again remix ? 😂
Let's hope the "Born Again" remix WILL include "falling"...!
the success of Anno Domini has proved that there is a legion of Black Sabbath fans who loves the complete discography, not only Ozzy stuff
@@l.salisbury1253The " Fallen " demo track might not be included since Tony Iommi and Ozzy Osborne are 50/50 co- owners of the Black Sabbath name and business settled out of court mutual agreement and 3 original members must participate in the project to have any new or unreleased material released. Their may be a loophole since Tony,Geezer and Bill are on the Fallen track hope so 😊.
yes, i can hear my tweeters
