I've worked with a lot of lawyers, and like yourself, their mind (and body) is working overtime, making it difficult for their voice to catch up.
But you still use a microphone🎤. Let's see how loud your voice without it.
That might be a challenge, unless you live in near Cornwall in the UK. My wife however can vouch for my voice being too loud when I'm on the phone, does that count?
