Being a doctor, I can say that was a feat of extraordinary strength and balance. I’ve never seen any amputee with that level of physical skill - and I’ve seen wonderful athletes do wonderful things with prosthetics. I think he’s hands down one of the best dancers in the world. Not to mention his level of expression and grace. Phenomenal talent.
Sadly and amazingly many amputees dance in South Africa, but he is exceptional
I have severe scoliosis, and I struggle with balance enough as it is with BOTH legs X3
It is time for doctors to impuls there patients in a positive way . How many times in the past they say people with disabilities couldn’t achieve anything like that ? They where in a bed or wheelchair just because of these words . Look how beautiful stuff that can be created. Very inspirational .
Airvr - you have captured EXACTLY what this performance was!
Oh I Love this young man, what talent and he is very Blessed ❤
This was the crowd’s golden buzzer!! 🎉🙌🏼👏🏼
I agree!
Indeed!
Aha♥️
The crowd should get a golden buzzer lol😂
wouldn't it be awesome if the crowd votes him to win?
I’m a double amputee, and the level of hard work, balance, and getting over the fear of falling and potentially injuring yourself Everytime you get up on your balance is enough to make people give up. Pretty incredible to see this dude and his talent. Major credit to him! 💯👏👏👏
❤
God bless you my dear so that all your dreams come true !
That crowd deserves a golden buzzer. Amazing heart and inspiration.
❤️❤️❤️
I couldnt have said it better
True
❤❤💯👍👌♥️♥️🙏🇮🇳
The crowd made me fall in love with humanity once again
Even when he first walked out on stage, he walked with more poise and more confidence than most people would with both legs. He's a real role model for all of us.
My black coffee ❤❤
Right 👍
The first thing I noticed - this young man's beautuful posture and amazing presence. ❤
❤
His a true inspiration, I was also amazed at how he kept his smile throughout.❤
In my view, Musa did not just represent himself, he represent all of human greatness, that we can go beyond our challenge and excuses, he put his heart comletely on the line. In my view he inspires all of us, that excuses are not acceptable, because life is the gift. He lived the greatness of all of us with that show. The judges were not kind, they were mesmerized. I was mesmerized. You are a remarkable person, thank you for this Musa!

He looks like a dancer who lost a leg and recovered rather than a footballer who learned to dance AFTER losing a leg! Incredible performance! Love that the crowd INSISTED he be given a Golden Buzzer!
He was never meant to play football. C'mon life brought him this far

His friends are legends as well for teaching him how to overcome his disability and his difficulties. Congratulations Musa and friends!

The best audition I have ever seen at BGT. His level of expressions and grace is so amazing and exceptional. God bless you always and praying for you to be the next BGT champion.
Actually it's BGT but if AGT All Stars come back like next year hopefully, he needs to compete cuz everyone in the USA need to see Musa dance like never seen before :)

True that 😭😭😭😭
Musa can not only dance he can speak wisdom! He said he breaks the word impossible into two namely I'm possible! So so so inspirational and such a gentleman! He radiates joy despite his disability! I am in awe!
❤
Me 2!! I loved that. I’m going to remember that. I’m possible!
You listened him nice !
Beautiful! His Expression! His Strength! That Smile! He's 27? He looks like he's about 18. Thanks to the Crowd👏👏👏
What's amazing to me is, instead of a missing leg being a disability, using the crutch to make moves that two-legged ppl can't do, made him one of the most unique dancers in the world. Every move he made was elegant, enhanced, and full of emotion.
Well said!
YES..YES..YES ♥
And new.. Don't forget that..
Yes 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Absolutely.
I am fixated on the fact that this young man has been smiling since he walked on stage, throughout his performance and at the end of it. That's what you call inner joy ❤
Exactly that’s all God

I totally agree, his smile, self confidence, absolutely handsome young man has made everyone that watch him dance feel something Big in their HEART'S, HUGS, TEARS,JOY and more TEARS this is my fourth time watching him dance and I cry more each time TRULY AMAZING!❤
I love how the crowd pushed them and never gave up to tell them judges to push it gold. Amazing!❤
Definitely cuz the BGT never done the All Group Golden Buzzer before AGT and CGT gets the group golden buzzer so it's definitely time to do it, even for him
His smile just seems so genuine and he’s incredibly talented!!
Absolutely wonderful right!!?
He literally broke the word impossible into "I m possible" True example indeed!! Congratulations Musa wakwa Mota 🎉❤🇿🇦

I’ve been a pro dancer my whole life and taught dance for 45 years! Musa’s passion is unmatched! It’s a rare talent to be able to touch the hearts of people through the art of dance! What an incredible and inspiring young man!
You must be about 75 years old?
Wow! Coming from you he truly deserved that golden buzzer 👏👏👏👏
Honestly must be one of the iconic auditions on any version of this show - ever. And rightly so.
As a South African, I'm slightly biased I admit, but I cry when I watch this man dance not because he has only one leg (often that simply makes me wonder "WTF - how?!" when he does certain things) but because that is what a true artist does through their work - they make you feel. They're able to tell you a story. They leave you exhilarated, amazed, contemplative, and most importantly, ready to watch it again almost immediately. You can feel their passion through a screen, let alone by watching live.
I know some people wrote Musa Motha off as a supposed "sob story" but beyond being part of his story - especially about why he started dancing - and the factual element of how it might affect how he trains with able-bodied dancers (bear in mind, asking dancers how long they've trained for something like this is a standard question), his message is not "look at me, look at what I'm doing despite my disability". It's a testament to what passion and hard work can achieve. It is also a message to everybody that no matter how late you might start in life, or whatever the obstacle you're facing, leave "impossible" behind. It is also a reminder to everyone to check their preconceived notions of skill, perfection and beauty at the door.
Until 2018, Musa had only been informally/self-trained. He had been dancing on netball courts, on open-air stages, etc. Until he auditioned for Gregory Maqoma at Vuyani, who recounted his shock on radio at seeing an amputee dancer but reiterated that Musa would be treated the same as the other candidates. Auditions were open, apparently, and he was successful. However, it was basically his first introduction to contemporary dance and he was already in his 20s at the time. He was introduced to ballet even later in life. Nothing about that is normal for most dancers, as far as I know. It is simply not normal to be able to both pick up and adjust modern and classical dance moves in such a short period of time. His choreography is also incredible.
The first production he danced in the UK earned him a nomination for best male contemporary dancer and a win for emerging artist of the year. That's a lot to achieve when your initial training was learning to dance on broken concrete using squares drawn in chalk by supportive friends. And no, that's not to elicit sympathy either - it's to reiterate that he clearly has a gift. And leave the "already a pro" comments at the door as well - most of the contestants on these shows have some presence in their industry when they participate, especially in the age of social media.
Fact of the matter is, you feel enriched after watching him dance. He's one of the most mesmerizing performers I've ever watched. If you hyperfocus on the fact that he happens to have a missing leg, that's on you.
👏👏👏👊👊👊❤❤❤🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
I wish Musa all the best👊👊👊❤❤❤
I admire his strength and his dancing is sublime.
@kellyrobbins8255 I don't think it was a sob story. In the American version you see average performances getting put through because of the background story , but this guy was different. He's gone through a lot but he changed it to something positive and has worked hard. But most of all, he's amazingly talented!! This performance really moved me, he definitely deserved the buzzer!
I can't stop crying ugly.😭
This golden buzzer is from the audience. Thank you so much for supporting Musa. One of those times I am incredibly proud to be African.
The Chinaza Favour - You should ALWAYS be proud of who you are!

One more thing this audition should be played in the hospital rooms for every person facing cancer and or amputation!!! He’s amazing!!!! 💜💜💜

Those who were about to give up will be inspired immensely❤So profound.
I think watching the vets in the Invictus Games, marathon runners, and people like Musa would inspire them.
@@zeentusi9339 I have never met anyone with CANCER who gives up!!! I have been watching both AGT, and BGT from the beginning and in all those years I have never heard a crowd fight that hard for a Goldern buzzer. Bravo to the crowd. And what can I say about that young man that he didn't already say for himself with that performance WOW..

I find that so offensive to Musa. God gave him cancer in the first instance. How you can say that is beyond me.
@@kingy002 I’m pretty sure she didn’t mean it as if she was proud he had cancer. I may be missing something please correct me if I’m wrong I think she was just trying to say despite the issues he went through he didn’t give up and his dreams came true.

Going forward, I think the crowd deserves to have their own golden buzzer when they encounter a contestant that indeed deserves it... the support from the crowd was extraordinary; well done, Musa; you are such an inspiration.
apparently 6 golden buzzers isn’t enough!! 😂😂😂
I guess not
Yeah but they scream golden buzzer all the time anyway it’d be abused
But if it's what the crowd wants the crowd should get. At the end if day they cast the last vote in sales🤔

I just wanna say THANK YOU to this beautiful AUDIENCE 😭😭😭😭😭
This has to be the most emotional golden buzzer moment l've seen in the show's history. Thank you audience for the overwhelming love you all showed this incredible young man. SPEECHLESS
I have seen SO MANY bgt/agt videos and Simon was literally so right saying that he has never seen a reaction like that. So true. I havent seen the crowd go crazy like this for anyone ever. Literally never.
That's what you call a G buzzer by popular demand ❤
My favorite thing about Musa's story and his audition is that he wasn't a dancer before his amputation who then re-learned how to dance in this extraordinary way...but rather that he found this love of movement after he fell in love with music after his amputation. He dances as well and as beautifully as he does bc THIS is the way his body knows how to move to music...it's the ONLY way he knows how to dance. And that is most magical and transcendent part of watching Musa dance.
Well said!
