- In this episode I tackle the corroded airflow sensor, throttle body and get a bit carried away (again) talking about the CIS Fuel Distributor...and what not to do unless you like repetitively spending money on lumps of cast iron.
This is great info and also very entertaining. What a complex system, I look FWD to the next episode 👍
Thanks for a very informative video on the complexities of the Bosch K injection system .
I now appreciate why it cost a lot of money to have my K-jet overhauled recently, thanks again !
Thanks Dave, for sacrificing parts so we cn learn what not to do and save money, great informative video, I needed to do some work on mine as I thought the air filter box was held down by the Mixture screw, doh!
Interesting there is quite a difference to the inlet sizing in the 4.5 and 4.7lt engines
As per your previous post comments on the MPG meter on CIS systems, some more info, started on MY82, the connector looks to sit on the pivot point of MAF, I assume a potentiometer measures where it sits not sure if it connects to speedo too as per L-Jets
Thanks for the video on the CIS! Will get to my 78 one of these days
Go for it.
I think you might need to change the name of your channel. I have watched all of your videos so far and I haven't seen any bodges, just things done properly. 😂😂😂 Keep up the good work. I have a 928 S2 myself, so it's interesting to watch what you're doing.
Many thanks! I guess there's a line between appropriate economies and bodging. Sometimes difficult to tell..
Flipping’eck that injection unit is a Pandora’s box of potential hell! Bring back carbs!!!😂
Curious how you're not inspired to simply do a conversion to electronic fuel injection and ignition. A lot of the old Ferrari 308's have done this with an ECU upgrade as well with increased HP and efficiency.
