  • 10 Best Places to Visit in Rwanda
Hello Displorers, welcome back to another exciting video presented to you by Displore and thanks for watching. In this video we shall be taking you to Eastern part of Africa to show you the 10 best places to visit in Rwanda. Rwanda is a landlocked country in east Africa and is one of the smallest countries on the African mainland with its capital city being Kigali. Located a few degrees south of the Equator, Rwanda is bordered by Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The climate is temperate to sub-tropical, with two rainy seasons and two dry seasons each year. Rwanda has a population of over 12.3 million living on 26,338 sq. km of land, and therefore it is the most densely populated country on mainland Africa. Rwanda's developing economy suffered heavily in wake of the 1994 genocide, but has since strengthened. The economy is based mostly on subsistence agriculture and coffee and tea are the major cash crops for export. With a GDP Nominal of $10.2 billion and a nominal GDP per capita of $830, this 12.3million populated country has English, French, Kinyarwanda, Swahili as official languages and use the Rwandan Franc as its official currency. Music and dance are an integral part of Rwandan culture, particularly drums and the highly choreographed intore dance. Tourism is a fast-growing sector and is now the country's leading foreign exchange earner. Rwanda is one of only two countries in which mountain gorillas can be visited safely, and visitors pay high prices for gorilla tracking permits. But before you go for a tourist visit in Rwanda, here are 10 places you should have on your bucket list to visit in Rwanda.
    10. Kigali Genocide Memorial
It is true that the Kigali Genocide Memorial is not known for its overt beauty. It is a plain, modern building surrounded by gardens, and, marking the site of one of the largest massacres, there sits a concrete mass of graves. However, this is a significant and heart-rending site which should not be missed. The exhibition here is both shocking and thought provoking, and attempts to piece together the causes and events of the three-month genocide which destroyed Rwanda in 1994. Thousands of first-hand accounts are documented and personal film footage and photography is showcased, illustrating the collection of events in a simple and striking way. 99.9% of the Rwandan population was affected by the horrific violence of the genocide, a dark past which makes the present friendliness and goodwill of the country’s locals all the more inspiring. The main exhibit hall wraps around poignant sculptures and features stained-glass windows that cast a hopeful glow on the space. The museum continues with another permanent exhibit on the history of genocide around the world and intervention efforts from international communities, helping to put the Rwandan genocide into context. The museum also includes an emotionally charged Children's Room dedicated to the youngest victims of the genocide. It keeps their memory alive through oversize portraits of the children, some of whom were just infants when they were killed, and personal details about the victims, like their nicknames and favorite books. While heartbreaking, visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial is an important part of being a responsible tourist in Rwanda.
    9. Kigali
After visiting and appreciating the history of Rwanda, let’s take a lighter mood with the 9th best place to visit in Rwanda, the capital city, Kigali. Many travelers spend only a night in Kigali before gorilla trekking, missing out on the vibrant culture, cuisine, and sightseeing in Rwanda's capital city. To enjoy Kigali, stock up on bespoke clothes from swirling patterned textiles and experience the energetic atmosphere at Kigali’s largest market, Kimironko Market. The warehouse space is like a maze, with surprises around every corner. Kigali's creative scene at Inema Arts Center is a gallery that showcases the works of up to 10 local artists in residence. Make your way to the Rwanda Art Museum at the former Presidential Palace. It displays some of the finest contemporary pieces from Rwanda and nearby regions. You can also see debris from the presidential aircraft that crashed in 19

I am Haitian living in the USA for many years. Felicitations to you people from Rwanda for making black people proud of their race, their heritage and as a nation to save la reputation of mother land.
You' ve shown the world that with peace, determination and a vision miracles can happen. You are a model to be followed by all the countries in Africa and the world, especially Haiti where the politicians are interrested only in power, not their country.
Congratulations for outstanding places and to your president.
    Keep up the good work!!

I made a trip to Rwanda 2017,l can honestly recommend this country.
Stunningly clean, absolutely no garbage, easy to get around and very affordable.
The National Museum is great,The Genocide Centre will have you in tears.
Rubavu is very relaxing, take a trip to the hot springs and the DRC border crossing.
In Kigali the Nyrirambo Women’s centre is a must.
Beer in Rwanda is very good.
Last tip gentlemen have the best haircut you can find and ladies visit a beauty salon for a small fraction of what you pay back home.
    Enjoy

Thx for showing the world how beautiful Rwanda is. One correction. The population of Rwanda isn’t 2.6M. It’s 10 times of that. Around 12M. Thank you very much. I do appreciate your effort and keep up to show the world that Africa has something good to show, not only malaria, hunger and wars . But we also have security, infrastructure, good governance, technology, industry, green lands, and mostly, hospitality. It is time for the world , especially some western media , to think again.

All cities in Africa can be like Rwanda, the reason why Rwanda is super clean it's because there's no one who is selling on the streets, street vendors they've one market place where people are selling fruits and vegetables and so forth unlike here in south Africa all our streets are full of street vendors and those vendors are foreigners, we can't even walk on our streets because of this so called street vendors, when the police are trying to remove them from the streets, we're being labeled as xenophobic country, south Africa was clean during apartheid government, until the was a democracy and people who were civilised than us who knew was democracy is, they flocked in to south Africa for jobs opportunities, now they're the ones who are selling on our streets 90% of them are foreigners, that's why our country is dirty it's because of foreigners, I wish south African government can learn a lot from Rwanda, we just need our place to be clean like the Rwanda.

God loves you so very, very much that He sent His Holy Son Jesus from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins, and to be put into a tomb 3 days and rise from the dead the third day, and He (Jesus) went back up to heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and *please repent.*

Funny that the man who triggered that genocide is now the president of the country, soon or later life comes back to settle things right, it's just the nature of things
