Hello. First of all, thank you for really great SAP related videos. It is really easy to understand. I have one question related to this topic. What is the point of using second option in Expert mode for profile generation -> Edit old status. When it can come handy? In my logic point of view. When I will add the new T-code to the Menu, I also want the Aut. object related to the t-code to be added to profile. Why should I be using second option Edit old status? Will the new T-code will be executable for the users even without aut. objects? What is the point please? Thank you for explanation.

why we go for change authorization data for first time creation of role
Because you have to generate the profile there. If you see, before first click on "Edit auth. data" the profile field is blank.

SHIVA SHANKAR Not same. Whenever any chnages done in SU24, those changes will be pulled into Role through Expert Mode. But not through Manual Mode.
