Former President Olusegun Obasanjo Answers To Fela Kuti's Petition - Oputa Panel

  • Former President Olusegun graced the Human Rights Violation Investigation Commission (HRVIC) in relation to the petition of Late Fela Kuti.
He was questioned by Femi Falana (SAN), He(President Olusegun) said it were all fabrications that yakubu Danjuma asked that they get Fela Kuti Dead Or Alive and that He knew nothing about such ordeal.
General Olusegun Obasanjo In 1976 was made head of state in a meeting of the Supreme Military Council. Keeping the chain of command established by Murtala Muhammed in place.
During the dictatorship of Sani Abacha (1993--1998), Obasanjo spoke out against the human rights abuses of the regime, and was imprisoned for his participation in an aborted coup. He was released only after Abacha's sudden death on 8 June 1998.
Obasanjo took office as the first elected and civilian head of state in Nigeria after 16 years of military rule, is now commemorated as Democracy Day, a public holiday in Nigeria.

The most powerful in civilised country as US, UK, France etc. Who are you not to be asked a mere question in the court of law? Arrogance of demi gods of Nigeria is overwhelming. Body language and utterances of the so called judge and defence lawyer tells how they all eat and dine together at night and deceive ordinary citizens by the day time. seek the truth and start thinking for yourself without cheating anyone. This politician have never thought about you and dont see them planning to start now. the more knowledge everyone require for themselves the less power the politician will have. The only difference btw you and the politicians are that they have "knowledge".

Good job Femi but Africa is always Africa...Though Obasanjo appeared in court but he tactically evaded some key questions to his disfavour...

What has a citizen done to deserve such invasion by military personnel? Obasanjo even gave a stupid answer to act of Unknown soldier. History would tell ,cause Fela's chapter is vital in Nigeria History. The government DABARU everything cause the soldiers are acting under Command.Obasanjo is not even taking responsibility for shit that happen during his term.
