A whole bunch of my neighbors at my apartment complex partied loudly through the night and into the morning on Diwali, so I thought I'd return the favor and give them a wake up call on a holiday I celebrate. - Komedie

Also my parents were Jarheads so this is funny beyond all belief
I want to like but it's at 420
Wait yall don't do this my grandfather would do this for the army, navy, marines, air force I enjoyed the marines the most
Yeah it should. Whenever an Armed Forces branch reaches its birthday, we must proudly and patriotically blast their respective march.
moral of the story: that's a loud ass speaker
Manny F sure is hahaha xD I have one and they kick ass ! they just don't have really booming bass.

My dad was in the marine corps he would do this
My dad was in the Marines as a private contractor and he was in the Army. He would do this.
Every Marine would’ve done this lol
David Bytheway why do u like the marines if the marines don’t like the army
Bill Gwinner my mom and dad would do this even if all they did was leave trash in the yard
Marine Corps is always capitalized.
From the halls of Montezuma, to what’s left of Tripoli, marines will always be there to get payback.
They heard this man’s speaker from the halls of montezuma and the shores of Tripoli
Imagine being another marine living in the say premises hearing this in the morning saying well damn someone pissed off a brother 😂
Lmaooooo such an underrated comment 😭😭💀
Press. Just. One?
Happy 242nd bday to you and all marines. Oorah. Carry on with the plan of the day.
Armando Cruz FALL OUT.....OH WE WANT TO TALK IN FORMATION???? GET THE FUCK BACK...LIGHT THE TORCHES MOTHER FUCKERS......LET THE GAMES BEGIN...... CLASSIC LINES FROM THE DI'S OR EVEN THE CO'S IN THE FLEET. GET SOME MY BROTHER IN ARMS, GET SOME. KEEP THOSE SKATES SHARP, AND STAY AWAY FROM THOSE WORKING PARTIES.... SEMPER FI...... By the way, where did any DI learn to count??? What the hell is 20, 19 (so far so good) 16, (Uh-oh) 11, ( why did he skip so many), 7, (he just asked why are we trying to piss him off? WE'RE NOT I SWEAR, YOU'RE JUST COUNTING TOO FAST), 2.... 1...FREEZE PRIVATE FREEZE....... by my simple math, and I went to an Ivy League school before joining the Corps, that's ONLY 7 seconds.... CLASSIC TIMES RIGHT??????
@@havingfun1968 I remember them saying zero and we reply freeze and we never got called by rank in training. Other than that it's really accurate.
@@hughmungus5033 What years were you in??? I went to bootcamp in 89 and you always had to say FREEZE PRIVATE FREEZE when they hit ZERO. I went to bootcamp in 89 San Diego India Company Plt 3001, and went to OCS in 91, after returning from the Rock, 3rd FSSG in Naha. My commanding officer at Camp Elmore in Norfolk, Virginia, HQ ATLANTIC and HQ NATO, mostly an INTELLIGENCE BASE, was Lt. General (at the time), Mundy ,God rest his soul, who went on to be the Commandant, and changed MY LIFE. He always loved me and found out that I had a degree from Princeton and flipped out. He literally told me on a Thursday that I was going to OCS because I'm wasting muy time as enlisted, and arrived at Quantico, there on Monday. That's the kind of power he had. I was there when he called General Grey and said Al, I have a Corporal here that needs to be in Mondays class, and since I was already vetted from the FBI with a Top Secret clearance, I was at OCS. Honestly, it was childs play compared to bootcamp. There you said RECRUIT. The freedoms we had was uncanny compared to bootcamp where that invention called a telephone was NOT to be seen but twice, and both times were for less then 1 minute. Hello I think Watson spoke more then us to Edison. Crazy to think back on those days. Here's a FUNNY STORY, THANKS TO FACEBOOK, I'm friends with ALL FOUR of my DI's from bootcamp and I still want to call them sir, TO THIS DAY. They made me who I am, and without them, I'm not nearly as good of the person that I am today. I send them all Christmas gifts for all the wisdom they bestowed upon this Captain, and I only survived many life-threatening situations in the fleet and on assignment, because of those four souls. God bless them all and God Bless the Marine Corps. May it live on FOREVER!!! Merry Christmas Brother!!!
@@havingfun1968 I just started my career in the Marines. I graduated as Bravo Company Platoon 1022. I had 4 drill instructors as well although we started with only 3.
Oorah is not a marine's term. That's army my friend. Semper fidelis
Been blasting my town at dawn since the 80s with Reveille and the Marine's hymn, using my 6, 250 watt each system I bought in the 70s while stationed in Japan. Signals the beginning of my celebration.
OOHRAH MY BROTHER !
@David Bytheway my grandpapa served in the Us Navy he was a medic in the us Navy
OOrah brother SEMPER ALL MARINES Some gave all some
@@haydenstrawn5398 Medics are Army. Corpsmen are w/the Marines. Gratitude and respect to Gramps. He'll enjoy this;
Navy Corpsmen are NOT dark, salty, slimy creatures inhabiting the murky depths, as are their brethren. They are a special breed, caught between worlds.
Corpsmen are Marine-hating, aspirin-dispensing, needle-sticking, foul-mouthed, miserable, bad-attitude, contrary, stubborn, absofreakinglutely unfit for MarCor formations, parades and inspections, long-haired, hippie types that are incapable of holding their liquor.
Our beloved Corpsmen are also divine angels of mercy sent by God himself, to courageously save Marine lives while under fire, allowing Marines the privilege of continuing the fight.
Please God, watch over and hold tight my Marines, my Corpsmen, my fellow Warriors of ALL types.

Hahaha top comment 👍🏻
Fellow Marine here, thank you brother. This was awesome
Love this! My late dad, a Guadalcanal Purple Heart Marine would have loved it, too! Great idea! I may try it for this year’s birthday! Semper Fi and Ooh-Rah!
Semper Fi. I would have loved to hear his stories. My grandpa was an Okinawa Purple Heart recipient as a squad leader, never got the chance to meet him
Tim Tucker I am so sorry you never met him. Unfortunately, my Dad never spoke much about his experiences on the Canal and beyond. I am learning much now by reading extensively. I do remember him mentioning how terrible the Japanese were and their chants of Marine, you die, all night long. Until the day he died my Dad hated rice because he said that’s all they had to eat. They used to pick the bugs out of it. After awhile the men stopped picking them out and ate them. My Dad suffered from malaria for many years after his return home. When he came home, he weighed 90 pounds and his dad didn’t recognize him when he stepped off the train in Hazleton, PA. I am fortunate to have his original dress blues jacket and cover. He had a military funeral and was buried in the dress blues that he wore when got older and put on weight. I am sure your grandpa was a hero and I salute him. The 245th birthday is not far off, so I hope you will do the same thing to honor Marines everywhere! I will do it, too! BTW, my real name is Dolores, not danceskatehorse! Lol! Semper Fidelis!
He later received an eviction notice.
OfficiallyTragik Lol no; his rent got lowered
OfficiallyTragik Worth it!
OfficiallyTragik But any REAL Marine would say it was worth it. GET SOME DEVIL DOG. SEMPER FIDELIS.... CAPTAIN T, U.S.M.C.
@Jeffrey B boy your comment made my fucking day lmao
Seriously???
Good idea. You just came up with the Marine's Hymn Challenge. On 10 Nov 2018 we should post a video here of us doing what you did, by blasting the Marine's Hymn with No F***s given.
A glorious way to start the day!!!
GOOD JOB Happy Birthday Marine. The finest fighting force the world has ever seen, we sleep safe in our beds at night knowing our United States Marine Corps is standing watch all over the world defending us against those who would take our freedom and lives away if they could. May the Lord be the Shield for ever more from every peril to the Corps.
Do that again but Stars and Stripes Forever on 4th of July
Last year we blasted Zackk Wylde's rendition of The Star Spangled Banner but not as early in the morning. Still had fun though
I know there was at least one person in those apartments that woke up and just smiled.
I have been waking my kids up with this song for a year and it's amazing. Thank you
Hell yeah! Semper fi!
Hunter The Patriot 🇺🇸
You motivate me motivator. Awesome rendition of our hymn. And thank you for putting up another W for the Corps
I was in the Navy but..... I LOVE IT!!!!!
So much worse 😂 corpsmen the best out of you
I love that song my Fiancé is a Marine he thought it was funny and he said thank you for playing his song. He’s on deployment currently in Iraq
I've been feeling like shit all night and this put a huge smile on my face! Thank you for this!
A broad smile of memories, parade decks, dark nights, bad food and still in a good mood, because I was with my brothers. Thank you Teufelhunden where ever you are. Who could fill a water bottle with dead flies faster than anyone in country? Twas I, the fly sniper.
I’m a brazilian asian and know this Hymn by watching cartoons on the late 70’s up to the early 80’s. What’s going on that I don’t listen to these true american songs anymore? The Battle Hymn of the Republic is another one, Yankee Doodle...
This is hilarious
My dad would wake me on Saturday's with this. This is how ptsd starts. Having been potty trained at gunpoint, I joined in 79.
I've heard it all!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂🥰🥰 potty training my grandson got messy too I read this..🤣🤣🤣🤣🥰
Your the best, man I hope there are more men like you in the world!
My brother is serving in the armed forces, it means a lot!
Should’ve played the wake up reveille
I love it! My dad was a Marine in WW2 and a DI for a while. He would do this. Semper fi!
God bless you brother, happy birthday!
Haha I celebrate Diwali but not late at night. Way to return the favor, patriotically! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Love the Marines!
Cheers, mate
During our glorious birthday i scared the shit out of my roommates because smoke was coming from the basement and playing and singing that glorious hymn at the hop of my lungs
Love that you played the long version. It's important that you make sure that they get up with the long version.
I still watch this every birthday!!! Love it brother!! Semper Fi!!!
Just sent this to my buddy who just enlisted. Your mission is complete.
Semper Fidelis my friend, may everlasting health come your way.
If I was out there I would stop moving, standing at attention and wondering where the American flag is. (My father served as a Marine in Iraq) Semper Fi cousins.
This would be the best wake up call ever!
Keep forgetting i have thr same birth date as the corps this would be the best birthday gift if my neighbor did this
If I was there and I'm walking, I'd probably march to the cadence of that music. Though I'm not in the military and just went through college ROTC...
Awesome this video was great my depression went away thanks
im doing this to my neighbors as well
I would do the same thing but louder
Andrew Grgich no one likes you
thank you for the Advice I will keep that in mind
It isn't advice; it's a simply-stated fact.
I really dont care what you think of me thats your thought about me and I accept that
Oh it's not me- I don't even know you. It's your parents, your cousins, your neighbors, your ex-girlfriend. Literally no one likes you.
I came back to this was worth rewatching
if only this version of marine Corp hymn still existed sadly
How could you not be mad at this man?
Who is going to complain about that? I'm a brat and by the time "Reveille" played in the mornings, everyone should be up anyway. I live 5 miles outside NOB and I can hear it when I'm outside in the mornings and I love it.
OOHRAH, Parris Island 0331 from 71-77! SEMPER FIDELIS FOREVER! OUTSTANDING MOVE!

Thank you for letting the neighborhood and the entire internet know for a fact your MOS begins with an 0 and a 3.
