- Unfortunately, this same cape many of us proudly wear is now strangling the life out of us. Yah wants us to have an abundant life, but we can’t experience one if we live our lives trying to make everyone else happy. We have to take the superman cape off because as long as we walk around like a superhero, people will keep asking us to do superhero things.
Taking off the cape and what does that look like. Her tears was everything
As I’m absorbing this episode, I wanna thank y’all for even having the conversation.
In a perfect world, men would open up their women and it would be incredible. The problem is many men learn not to trust their women with their emotions anymore because they weaponize them.
- Best case: They lean on other strong men for guidance.
- Worst case: They cry out for help in unhealthy ways.
Moral of the story? Imperfect people dealing with imperfect people is hard.
Yes it was, I thank Mr Jason for wvwn giving me this opportunity to even speak. Thank you for the comments.
Hey, do you mind telling me what Font you are using to write your comment?
Thank you a lot mr jason for helping me stay grounded and overall guiding me with your wisdom.
This was a much needed conversation, because time & time again women are always being a safe space for men , but who’s her safe space when she needs that energy to be reciprocated? Women are always bearing the weight of everyone’s problems & I truly don’t like that for her at all. There should be a guy who is willing to be that safe space for her just as much, it just goes to show how the issues y’all think y’all are solving are just beginning. I loved when you reassured her & apologized to her when you felt as if you weren’t there for her the same way she was there for you.
Mr. J, thanks for doing this podcast. I will be taking time with my wife to listen to it all over. I am really blessed. May the most High bless you. Shalom.
This! Thank you all for this stunningly stark naked conversation. I'm sharing it. God bless your ministry. Please continue to be salt and light.
Thank you, appreciate your comment!
Thank you Jason & Nicole for opening up this platform. This was so needed and therapeutic 😌. I appreciate the both of you! Blessings to you. 🙏🏽
This is an honest, vulnerable and needed conversation. Jason Wilson, u ask powerful questions and tune in beautifully to what is said and not said. I'm married and am trying to work through the bitterness I hold that does not serve me well. I'm moving through it. Thank u! I, too, want to release my cape.
Thank you so much for this!!! Praise God this was healing. Bless all of you😇🥰
Thank you, blessings to you
Wow. Having been in this situation before: I can establish security in him by showing my vulnerability and acknowledging that he is safe, too.
"We are each other's safe space. I love you. Thank you for allowing me to love on you right now. Whatever you need is here for you right now. You are a King and this is your inner sanctum. I'm listening." Reassuring body language and a loving tone of voice plus not weaponizing with any of his shared vulnerabilities cements the bond.
Healing happens where love is. ❤
I needed to hear this! Very grateful for how both sides opened up to show that empathetic side from a male/female perspective. Its all in love and you can hear the genuine care and concern for each person to be good. Thanks for sharing!
Appreciate the comment.
Peace and blessings
This was very powerful. I see how the Lord really orcestrated this episode to become what it was. It was like a symphony of vulnerability and healing He put together on the spot. Would your wife, along with these women be interested in hosting a podcast focused on biblical healing for women?
It's hard to find healthy platforms with women that are as genuine and vulnerable as these beautiful women are. I felt like I was at home with sisters in Christ just figuring out our pain as the Holy Spirit leads us. Young women really need guidance from beautiful women of wisdom in Christ such as these.
In many cases, women look for a man "who can cope in a crisis." But that often means that he must cope alone because he must carry her too, so that means he doesn't get the emotional help. He has to keep his cape on even whilst he's asleep.
The same would apply to women with what they go through emotionally.
I wonder, rather than one soul to hold everything emotionally, that if two caring souls at the same moments are better than one, could that make a transformation to a stronger emotionally coping force? As a man, I have never had that. I don't know what that feels like.
Thank Mr. and Mrs. Wilson my lady and I are going through this right now
I always look forward to your work. Love the vision that Yah has Given you!
Blessings 💖

Once I took away the lens of my selfishness where I was the center of the universe and all about me shifting to the lens of seeing what she sees, it was a rude awakening. We're in recovery fighting my addiction and so much has come out being vulnerable. This podcast has some really great advice for healthy relationships.
Thank you so much for this. When our culture/society and our women expect men to be constantly "beyond excellent", this is like a balm to an emotional wound.
Excellent conversation! Thank you to all 3 of you!!
Beautiful message. As a man from a wobbly childhood, I had to grow up after 25 years of addiction abuse. I grew up surrounded by aggression. I went the opposite way. I walk away from fights when I can. I am frightened by violence, yet I know I have violence inside.
Love.
Thank you.
Your not frightened by violence, you frightened by the violent you inside that likes it
@@AllPRAIZE Likes it. Wow.
@@darrenw2890 it’s our environment, it’s in us even if we dnt wanna show it.
@@AllPRAIZE I have no desire to hurt anybody. Stand up for myself. Defend myself. I have no desire to provoke violence. I really am a lover and not a fighter.
Love
Great interview!!

thank you for the content sir, young black men still need help learning how to heal…
Thank you for this podcast, i needed this wisdom in my life.
In 2016, my 90 year old grandfather died. I pulled over to the side of the road and cried. My wife said, "what the f... you crying for he was 90." My dad died three weeks ago. I haven't cried since 2016. I will take my cape with me to my grave.
Amazing sister
Thank you.
Thank you for helping me heal good brother 🙏🏾

Amazing Jason. Truly. You and your wife. Look at how God is using you and your platforms to impact lives. We would be honoured if you would be one of the mentors in our competition for men on St. Martin in the Caribbean in November 2023. Teaching the many life lessons you have gained on what it truly is to be a man. We send you a message on LinkedIn and on Instagram. Hoping to hear from you. Bless :)
Shalom.
1) Would you be willing sir to make a video about healing when a father was abusive in every category?
2) Any connections to west coast resources to recommend?
Unable to get through to office to speak with someone. Thank you sir for your time and help!
Most High guide protect and bless you!
Mr. Wilson we need more of these episodes. Also will you be doing a conference anytime soon?
