Kalani doing those lay down/face down maneuvers are insane...that secret spot is badass, i surf it twice a year when my boss lets me off but its a long haul from Barstow...i have to wax up because it melts in the 3 1/2 hr drive...i'm trying to get an apartment in Pomona, i'll be a local
Screw LA and Pamona, move to SD. Way nicer, same price in some areas and way better waves and your under an hour to get to Lowers if you want. Shit O'side a little inland is about the same price as Pomona and your close to epic surf. Now if you already have a job I understand, but if not...

Even though Lowers is kind of a mellow break, the skill level is very high out here with at least a couple pros and day to day locals shredding at all times.
