- Hey guys! So today was my lucky day! Not only was it a good morning toy hunting, but I also found a 1:18 diecast movie car I wanted badly. An older one from 2002 that’s no longer in stores. Every time I found one on marketplace or Kijiji, it was never under $300, or close to me. Wait till you see the deal I got, and check out this beauty! If you want an item that’s out of your price range, keep looking and never lose hope!

I just got a really nice version of the Smokey and the Bandit car made by Miasto that's really clean. It's painted well, the doors, hood, and trunk all open and it only cost $34 with a pro seller on Ebay. Ordered it on June 5th and it's already here on June 7th, can't beat that; I'm blown away. I've been impressed and disappointed by Miasto models in the past, but this one is very nice, much nicer than it appears in the few photos I've seen.
Is that out already? We are going to be getting those as well. We are waiting patiently.
@@RetroCollectables You know what, they're at Sam's Club now for like $16.88 or something. If you have one near by now is the time to take a look, most SClub stores just got in a couple pallets of the Miasto diecast cars of all kinds, and the Smokey and the Bandit car is included. I saw a new video here and so I overpaid. Don't wait.

I was lucky and found this at my Target in 2002 for $24.99. The black Trans-am from Smokey and the Bandit is my favorite car and they only had one. I guess it was waiting for me. I wasn't a car collector back than but i thought what the heck I'm going to buy it. I'm so glad I did. This is indeed a beautiful car that i will never part with. I really enjoyed watching this video and seeing the car out of the box. Mine has been in the box for 21 years and will stay that way.

I got my Musters Koach on clearance at Target right about the same time period for $15.95. I still feel lucky that I bought all the AutoArt James Bond cars when they were new in the early 2000's. Those Bond cars were $65 new, now sellers are asking three and four hundred dollars for them, it's insane. I'm glad I did a lot of my collecting when many of these things were new and readily available.

That is awesome. Yeah I’m a big fan of Smokey u have the original 1/25 Bandit II from ERTL early 80s as well. It’s not too detailed, but I love it because it’s historical old. Thank you very much for watching.!!!

I'm not sure how I landed on your video...fell asleep with my headphones on and woke up with this playing. LOL I had a 1977 Formula 400 Firebird 4spd, 3:43 posi I bought for $2500 in 1987 with low low miles! I was 17 and a total Poncho head...already had a 69 GTO I found in a barn and lost to a garage fire. (Not a rich boy, poor actually. I started working at 15!) Let me tell you this....once you stripped off the smog stuff and let her breath, she was 99% the same Pontiac 400 of yesterday. That was all I did besides freeing up the choked off air cleaner and a small timing bump. That car RIPPED every bit as hard as my GTO. Being a Formula it was light weight as well. I went up against a friends 87 Mustang LX notchback with a decent amount of mods and got him by almost 2 cars in a fair race. He was shocked and that put that car solid in the 13's for the 1/4, right there with the other 400ci Pontiacs before it.
Love the find bud, love LOVE the bandit. I've got a few thousand 64 scale diecast my son's and I collected as they grew up. I really like the larger models you have here. I'm 53 wondering what in the HELL the world has come to these days. Looking back at things like this gives me a warm feeling about the past I just don't see around these days. Thanks for the memories.
