A truly mesmerizing and soul-searching account of the 2nd movement--with a very intriguing dialogue between the soloist and the orchestra. I must listen to it a few more times. BIG BRAVO!!! ❤😂🎉😂❤
Much as I admire Jaeden Izik-Dzurko, I have to say this guy did a very impressive, musical job here. Makes me wonder why we have to have "Contests". I mean, was this guy so much better than the pianists that placed lower, or not quite as good as Jaeden?

I don't know anything about sound engineering but I couldn't help noticing in the first couple of minutes that the piano is completely drowned out by the orchestra. I've been in that position myself with Rhapsody in Blue: I couldn't hear myself play because the trumpets were so loud.
