- Welcome to another episode of Trailmakers! Today we are trying the Dethrone game mode. This mode has existed in Trailmakers for a while now, but I've never actually played it before. So better late than never! It's basically like king of the hill, with battling vehicles.

Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

Other fun alterations:
Only right/left turns
Only drive backwards
Only ramming
Only shooting
1(or however many) power core
No stopping
Water is lava
Ground is lava
And after everyone has enough experience, do a NO LIMITS one. Would love to see how that would go!!
Oh and possibly also one where the crown is lava, so one has to start with it and the others start much closer and get to drive after the first guy gets the crown. And then they just try to avoid getting the crown, or give it to someone else. Yes they will have to group up whenever the crown is reset, so a bit annoying, but I think it is worth a try! (Basically "hot potato", thanks Nolan)
I suggest battlebus frame as one restriction. Can turn out interesting...

Speed restrictions could also be considered, like maximum speed of 80 and no more or minimum max-Speed of like 300

Idk about the walker idea since it’s a bit easy to just aim and then not to mention getting to the crown since there not the fastest vehicle
mario kart 8 theme: 2 bulldog engines, 2 underwater propeller, 4 gimbals to glide maybe (or wings but it would get complicated), 1 cannon and the diving bell (because the kart seat can't go underwater). Also the vehicles must be based on a mario kart character

thats simply because its easier to aim AND control the car when driving fast, and its better to try to dodge enemy fire then to sit and aim carefully
Plus the turret was going 9999rpm

Bit late, already watched, but he said 'Wwwelcome ladies and gentlemen back to Trailmakers of multiplayer'. I only just noticed this, and i've watched this like 5 times. lol.
i have an idea for mm its called social distancing race if you go near the other player you have 5 seconds before you go away from that player or else you will explode! set a sensor that senses the other player by about 6 blocks ( because in real life its 6 feet ) rules: no thrusters no glitches as usual...

So we got a full on tank, semi tank/buggy and full on buggy. Nice!
hover craft but with no cannons, The crown passing back and forth via contact was exciting
If there is a Deathrone map with barrels, then you can add a catapult to your vehicle that picks up a barrel to shoot it later since there would not be a restriction against a barrel catapult.
He pilots the car as if he is the baby driver like those drifts are s tier.
I have watched many people play this game but never this mode I love it.
I hope you do this game mode again soon. Call it...dethroned thursday maybe? Idk.😄

I think putting servos under the wing pieces and turning the wings with the turn might have helped with controllability
