Hey Dan awesome video a benefit for everyone getting back into the Hobby I think I liked this one on my old X-Box account it crashed was rewatching instructionals!!!! Thanks always awesome to watch helpful hints and...Get Your Heart Racing!!!!
This is a how to video for oiling the different chassis. The Xtraction chassis is the exact same as the 4 gears with just one more gear on the top plate.
Good informative video. Im getting back into ho cars since the 60’s. Bought an AFX set and have 20 cars from different manufacturers. Only 4 cars run quiet, the others are loud with two new AFX cars make that screaming motor bearing sound. Will try to oil them but disappointed with quality control. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for watching. Welcome back to the hobby. I have many videos to help you get back up to speed and have a show called Monday Night Slot Car LIVE , where I go live with the slot car community Any questions just ask.
Thanks George and Welcome to Slot Valley Racing! Synthetic motor oil 5w30 works great, You can use a tooth pick to apply it. Or you can order it from Viperscaleracing.com. What you see in this video is from Viper.
Just starting this hobby with my Son and am really having issues. The cars keep going off of the tracks or switches to another lane. I need help- is the pin not long enough? It’s an auto world track and the cars came with it.
You do not grease/or oil the pinion on the race master car? I'm new to the Mega G+ cars. Most of mine new has grease there from the factory. But one of my new cars has a lot of grease there and another looks bone dry so I came looking for what others are using. thanks
Hey Hubert nice to meet you and hello from Canada! If there is anything I can help you with just let me know. If I don't have the answer one of my Gurus will! Post everything H.O. that you do!
If you have old tyco chassis that won’t run, here’s what you can try. Spin the back wheels with your hand a few times 20-30. Them put it on the track then left it so that the front shoes are still on the track but back end off of the track.

Clean off as best you can with a QTip then reapply your own oil. It can be almost any type of clean new oil. Mine is from Viper.

@Slot Valley Racing it seem my tyco cars won't work is there something I can use to fit there bodies on one of them xtraction chassis
You don’t need to follow there track set up. You can always use your own idea!
