Sony dav 350 is much better than iv 300. I found the subwoofer of iv 300 distorting as vol was increased. Dav 350 was having vibrant bass with no distortion and heavy bass
Sir... Sony DAV DZ350 has many input methods, USB, inbuilt DVD player ( blue ray not supported ), HDMI ( ARC ), Bluetooth, Optical input. I'm using more than 2 years, priority auto stand-by from optical, blue ray audio through HDMI ARC from TV, etc., and also it gives enough satisfaction, cost wise and sound quality wise, and I'm using Samsung N4300 TV
Brother could you please confirm If I'd be able to get good quality music from these listening via cellphone Bluetooth? I only have optical input and Bluetooth option on my end.

My TV does not have Optical ARC or HDMI Out, is it worth to connect Sony DAV-DZ350 over Aux cable? I heard both IV300 & DZ350, found that IV300 has overpower Bass, however DZ-350 has more clear sound.
Iv300 has feature to connect DTH HDMI in and Output to TV , but as Sony DAV-DZ 350 offers good clarity, but only can be connected using Aux cable due to TV limitation, please guide.
I know I'm late but the DAV DZ350 doesn't have an aux port. It has optical, HDMI Arc in, and Bluetooth for audio support.

Does the DZ350 player plays dolby digital sound via optical input or only from disc. I have a 4k Dolby Digital Plus compatible TV. Can I use the optical input on 350. I have seem most DVD or Bluray players support Dolby only from disc, not from optical or HDMI ARC even.

Seriously, you find the design of IV300 better than Dz350. You got to be kidding me, plus Dolby pro logic of dz350 does the job which clear audio plus does, o didn't go for the iv300 cuz the subwoofer was vibrating while playing the sounds at the max, however dz350 did the job flawlessly. But yes I agree both of these hometheaters has something more and something less. Good review overall

For people who have smart TV it’s better to go for HT IV300 and those who don’t have smart TV go with DAV DZ350 or BDVE3200.

Dz350 has an amazing sound, it's crystal clear and high bass, it automatically converts normal audio to surround sound even if you're hearing the Bluetooth audio as well

IV300 is the beast. Awesome surround sound (5.1) system and bass is so nicely balanced. Your home will start shaking if increase the volume. I can watch all tv channels and Netflix movies with 5.1 surround sound. music quality is so pure and clear. Go to SONY showroom and feel the magic. U will automatically fall in love with this beast IV300. I am loving it.

The real disadvantage is there is no inbuilt cooling system, while playing it produces more heat. I'm using laptop cooling fan placed under my player

Abt me, I m kind of person who love to listen song of Jagit Singh, one of his song like "ghar se nikle the hosla kar ke " with low sound but with good bass. And at the same time I like to listen song like " dj wale babu mera gana Baja de " whose bass just gives vibration to our heart. Plz suggest me as soon as posible.
If u compare sony ht rt3 and htrt40 ht iv300. Looks wise ht rt40 and rt3 good which comes with bar speakers. But once u listen iv300 all other is nothing compare to iv300 it is tradtional small speakers each but gives 1000w sound out put amazingly. Rt3 is 15000 rt40 18000 iv300 is also 18000. I am going to buy iv300 just waiting for stock to come stores.rt3 et40 are600w only. Iv300 has more featurea than rt3 and 40 but it has no sub woofer increasing decresing manual option. It has volume plus minus. Wofer will adjusted according to volume level. All this can be operatavle with mobile ph also using songpal app

Nice review sir. Me and my friend purchased each different one same time before 1 year. Me having iv300, and he Own dz350.
Comparing sound quality, both are equal but on full volume dz350 is a monster.
Also dz350 has a better design than that of iv 300.
But. Connectivity issues makes the dz350 5.1 system an utter failure.
I gave him my 1.5tb external hard drive which has full of action packed movies. Trust me, this model won't support external hard disks.
Fine, he purchased 32 gb pen drive to copy the movies from hard disk and I did. Again, trust me it won't play mkv or mp4 files.
Finally I gave him my amazon fire stick to enjoy fast and furious series on Netflix. Trust me, it has only hdmi In, it can't detect firestick.
Contacted Sony personnel and they advised to download and write karaoke songs on dvd, then plug the mic to the console (mic, which he has bought later from shop).
Now he usually sings a song which I like alot.. "kya hua tera waada"
Gyus forgot to mention. I can do all those stuffs with iv300 which dz350 can't do. Experience it. Go for iv300 blindly, it won't disappoint.
Since it lacks tweeter, how's is dialog/voice clarity while watching movies?

Iv 300 is very good it's rocking
Sony dav 350 5.1 ch is much better than iv 300. Dav 350 has richer bass while playing bass boosted songs but iv300 was distorting. Iv 300 has multiple connectivety options but sound quality is not as good as dav 350

+satyendra gaur Not a easy way to do it. Will need to buy separate mixer amplifier player. Again not sure it will be compatible with your speakers and it will be costly compared to buying a new home theatre.
Will suggest you to check same system on olx quikr for av receiver. Or followup with service centre.
Hey buddy, had a thought, so sharing it. If you have a laptop, you can buy External 5.1 Channel USB 2.0 Sound Card Optical Audio Adapter
and connect those speakers. Again amplifier is missing, need to think about that.

Sony iv300 is excellent to watch movies and it supports all types of USB..and has bluetooth connectivity, if you want to hear songs then it would be a bad experience..as iv300 will not gives you treble sound..only deep bass..when it comes to logitec you can hear songs with good sound as well..but logitec is making some technical issues..it stopped working suddenly...

yamaha has intoduced yht 1840 for 3300 with active subwoofer .But still no usb no bluetooth sony has everything .Also i called the dealer he says bass is ok ok .U ll have buy extra subwoofer .I actually don't understand why yamaha is asking for more money then
yamaha is reputed brand in music and they are investing a lot in r&d. yht 1840 is a good htib from yamaha.Go for it if you are a music lover. you will have crystal clear sound for every frequency.[need to buy a blu ray separately]
but if you are looking for bass, good design, less configuration settings go for sony in your budget. Listen both htib and then decide.

Totally i'm upset with this product even while giving demo time also he did't bring any DVD or pen drive, ,actually i have some Blue Ray formats 5.1 ch o/p video( through Laptop HDMI ,Pen drive,Airtel DTH HD and Sony TV HDMI ARC Port ) even single movie also not getting surround audio. i was Rest d setting from Player then also not getting surround effect.
then i tried MP3 audio with 2CH output mode it's getting single channel o/p is coming from both the speaker (L&R both the speaker ) remaining speakers are not working(C, SL & SR not working)

Elumalai S I guess this must be something wrong with audio system.For dz 350 if u are using pen drive with 5.1 ch enabled movie , it must play in all surround speakers. Try playing some dvd. Dont get so much frustated with these gadget. Its a good system.
