With Marty, every word count ... literally. There is no useless, long and boring _"blah, blah, blah"_ . Marty is, to me, the only Photoshop user on CZcams who gets directly to the point. He never speaks about his life (except for short and rare videos). I'm sure it's because he knows nobody cares except his Photoshop video tutorials.

what a class. if i found your videos earlier, i would've been 10times better with photoshop. i followed through to the last with my image though I'm not sure why my brush wont apply stokes at the end. I've back-played severally but still ant figure out why. ill appreciate help if anyone here (or the poster) can pls. great class. Thank you
Make sure your foreground color is correct.
Great tutorial. When I download and select the brush and paint the edges the white canvas underneath does not get revealed, any idea what I'm doing wrong please? Everything else works the way your does about from the pixel size, mine goes tiny.
Make sure black is your foreground color, the opacity in the Layers panel is 100% and no selections are active.

I LOVE seeing your watercolor updates but have a problem with one of the steps in this one. After I make the new layer 50% gray then use the Filter Gallery Rough Pastels numbers, the gray layer turns black. What am I doing wrong?
Before going to Filter Gallery, make sure your foreground and background colors are black and white, respectively. Those colors are in the form of overlapping boxes located near the bottom of the tool bar on the left of your screen.
