2023 BLENDJET 2 RECALL Due to a number of Blendjet 2’s overheating and/or blades potentially breaking off, certain Blendjet 2’s have been recalled. You can drink right out the blendjet cup as well. You just leave the lid on and unscrew it from the motor base. That’s why the lid screws and is flat.
Love my BlendJet2. Use a quick charger and throw away your old slow phone charger. Then fully charge the blender! Also do not over fill especially with hard things like large chunks of ice or frozen fruit
I love my Blendjet! The best thing for me is that it can crush ice so I use it for iced coffee and crush the ice up in the blender. About 150 ml milk, 4 blocks of ice, a shot of coffee and blend it together. You could add sugar or vanilla syrup before blending. We also make lovely smoothies with frozen fruit but don't overfill the blender - there should be space left on top
I really like Frappuccino and Ice coffee, and been looking for something that crush ice. Any advice?
I got a Blendjet for Christmas. I had been wanting one ever since I first seen it advertised. I absolutely love it! I use it everyday and I’ve had no issues with it.
I LOVE my BlendJet PERIOD.
My BlendJet consistently holds a charge for 15-20 uses. If I know I am getting close to that number, I charge. I know this video was a year ago but you really should contact their customer service if it won’t hold a charge. I like that my BlendJet is cordless and I can easily take it to work.
I have several BlendJets and gave many as gifts. So far, no one has had any issues with them. I do have one at my office and after it not starting, realized I had locked it. After unlocking, it worked like a champ. I've had them since October and love everything that comes out of them. I love that I don't have to look for an outlet to blend a smoothie when 'on the go'. I just pull out the BlendJet and viola! Ready to go. So sorry you had charging problems. Contact the company and they will make it good.
its probably your charging brick. it charges in one hour or less with a quick charger at least a newer 25w version. older chargers will take alot longer due to the blendjets large battery

Thank you so much for saving me money. I just pulled out my old Magic Bullet out of a box in my garage after watching your review, and I made a smoothie. It was excellent! The two hours I spent looking for it was time well spent. I also found lots of other stuff I needed but forgot I had! Thank you Ms. Kimberlee!

After fully charge can use up to 15-17 times :) and you can carry the charger with you anyway.

You can go and buy any cheap usb-c cord...they're a whopping $3
It seems like the best case use for the Blendjet is for travel because it’s easily packed, or for work because you can stash it in a drawer. Unless you’re short on space at home, I would stick with a Magic Bullet or Ninja. Because who wants to carry a whole blender around the house😁
They do the jar which fits on to the blend-jet which is bigger if you want bigger drinks I got it with my blend-jet

The charge issue must be a issue with your electrical. Mine holds a charge fine and charges in an hour. If you turn it upside down and start it and then flip correct side up it helps with harder ingredients. I clean it the way suggested, they recommend taking apart and cleaning that way every once and awhile. I don’t have any issue carrying the whole thing around it’s really not that heavy. You have to make sure the lid is closed all the way, but that’s not a problem. I love the portability of it, and the color and design choices.

Yes, I just had the same short charging issue with my 2 BlenderJets. It'd be so nice if it's out or charge that once I plug in the UBS port that you can use it without having to wait for it to fully recharge.
The thing is the Blendjet you can take with you anywhere you want and blend on the go. You can't do that with the magic bullet which is a big drawback for me. Sometimes I will sit at my desk at work and throw together a quick meal replacement shake so not having to plug this in makes it a plus for me. I will say that the magic bullet is stronger and has more power but the blendjet just gives you the portability to take it with you on the go.

It’s funny you had the battery issues you did, I don’t have that issue. Also I can take mine to the gym and I like to add milk to my protein powders and I can that do that on the go. I can also blend at home, put it in the insulated sleeve, go to the gym and it’s still cold. I’m not disputing your experience with the Blend Jet 2, but for me, it’s works very well. I do take it apart every couple of weeks to clean it as you stated you would do. It’s just a good idea. What I like most is the compact size on my countertop. Though I’m an add a larger container, I haven’t. Thank you for your review and for your honest opinion. You’re much appreciated.

I had 2 blendjets so i could use one in my semi truck. The one i had at home, the motor stopped. It'll still show charging, but doesn't work. The other is still going strong, use it more than my magic bullet. And I was one of the first to get the bullet, got it from the 1st as seen on tv commercials. I'll still use the bullet, but for smoothies, the blendjet is tops. And mine starts charged for a week, if not more. It'll charge in less than an hour. Maybe it has something to do with your plug. Try using one that is a fast charger for phones ... more power output.

I love how small and convenient it seems to be like maybe for camping or just seems quick n easy but it would seem obvious that the magic bullet is better just for the fact that it’s electric better power ⚡️
Mine leaked when I tried it for the first time. I have not tried again yet. Also I am with you on the cleaning. You need to remove the plastic ring in the top to get it "really" clean
Great video. Having both as well I look at them as apples and oranges. The blend jet 2 when traveling, gym, church, etc. Anytime I want to be mobile. Magic bullet for extended stays somewhere or at home.
@@Choppini it is my custom to get there early if I’m prepping to teach, or sometimes during the week to clean, etc. I also sometimes head out to a nursing home or hospice facility after church. There is not always a meal available in these times. It’s easy to throw a protein mix in my bag with the blend jet 2 and go. I hope that helps and you continue to go to church for the right reasons which is to worship and understand our Creator and Savior. :-)

I'm glad everybodies Blendjet 2 is working. Ours is gone, belly up after 3 weeks of use. Emailed and called the company and no response. I should have done my research better but didn't so, this one is on me. I'm a firm believer in " What goes around Comes around". Happy blending.........
They do offer 30 day money back, and ive had good customer service getting ahold of them. I think they realize it may not be for everyone so i had no problem dealing with them. Sorry for your situation though.
Try the extra large jar it is 32 Oz and great still for portable...if it's not holding a charge- could be a defective bottom- I personally have never had that problem but blendjet is great about replacing if you have an issue- atleast I've seen/heard....I wouldn't give up my blendjet for anything! I have 2- one for when I want the small drink and one with the extra large lid.... good luck with your bullet , I personally will stick to my blendjets❤

I get 15 blends per charge generally after a few uses I recharge it. You may have a faulty battery or bad charger.

I have both and recommend both: nutribullet (600 series is the best) is great for home and blendjet2 (bought even the XL jar to us when I have friends over or large drink portion) is great on the go in the tennis or gym bag or hiking. Hoestly, if you are well organised like me, never have it uncharged for at least 10 smoothies as ful charge holds about 15 smoothies. Both appliencies are slim counter top and practical spacewise to have, easy to clean, I actually highly recommned. ❤
It seems as though Kimberlee got a defective Blendjet. I've had mine for about a couple of years and to this day, I still use it almost every day. I get plenty of blends out of it before it needs to be charged. On that note, while it's blending, a blue light flashes around the power button. When the battery is running low, that light turns more of a pink. I find that I can still get a good 5 or 6 blends from it after it turns pink and before it completely runs out. Plus, I've never had the problem of works one day and is out the next. I've left mine sitting for almost a week on occasion and I still get many [20 second] blends out of it after that. I love it!

Blendjet is about being mobile, on the go. Small stuff.
Nothing better than being on the road, stop at a roadside fruit shop, bottle of water, pen knife, buy an apple and some Strawberries. Lunch.
A banana, your smoothie powder, water. There's your snack.
Flat battery? Charge it in the car usb. Make another snack.
Mine lives in the car.
Quick rinse after each use.

Thanks for the review! I’m still not sure how much I would use this. Concerning the charging it says on the webpage to use your phone charger. I have an iPhone so the new charge plugs are 20 compared to 5. That might be why yours is charging slow. Also your outlet might not be new so that will make a difference. Anyway……..as I was writing this I decided I’ll probably get a Blend Jet just because 😂😂😂😂😂😘

We bought the magic bullet ($40 on sale) and the motor gave out after 2 weeks, I tried contacting the company and they asked like 10 questions, told me to take a ton of pictures of it, bla bla bla what a hassle I just returned it to the Walmart I bought it from and got my money back. I went to Costco afterwards and we bought the blendjet2 (2 pack for $69.99), haven't tried it yet, but your review gives me an idea of what to expect. Thanks.
I don't understand how you can use a blender on the go. People talking about taking them to work or the gym or wherever. How does that work? Where do you get the ingredients to blend? What are you going to do, carry around a cooler full of ice & fruits?

To be honest I only got a BlendJet because they came out with a Disney Collection….I got Cinderella…AND I LOVE IT!
Bed bath and Beyond is going out of business soon ... Thank's so much for your video, I'm returning this Blend Jet to Kohl's, it's testing my patience trying to line up the dumb arrows ... No matter how I try to screw it on the base it's just not lining up and I'm getting the indicator light ... For $ 50.00 I wouldn't recommend, mine is brand new and can't wait to return it .

This convinced me to buy the magic bullet instead of the blend jet, I would say the only reason the blend jet would be useful is that u can take it anywhere, so i would still get the blend jet (later) but for at home purposes the magic bullet is what I need
I've just recently ordered the Blendjet2 because of the portability. I live in a house full of people, I want smoothies in the morn for work but I wake at 5 AM. I got on dog walks at 5 AM on my property so I can finally have my smoothie at 5 AM outside of my dog walk without waking anyone.

@@bellehealingmusic434 In your email from Blendjet saying you have a Blendjet2 in your cart, click that then click "Get a Blendjet". It takes you to your purchase and tell me what you see from there. Make sure you scroll all the way down after clicking "Get a Blendjet" to look over everything.
Purchasing a Blendjet was a bit wonky. It wouldn't sync with PayPal. Then I noticed they don't actually send you an email saying it shipped or giving a shipping address.
I just use a blender bottle with the wire wisk in it for my meal replacement shakes…I don’t drink smoothies cause they caused weight gain & high glucose for me
Upon looking at videos on CZcams the charging issue is because you have locked it. Unlock it by pressing the button twice and it will work.

I think the portability is overrated given it's poor battery life. At least they should have designed it so that it can run plugged in. I'm actually thinking of picking up the Magic Bullet.
Thanks for the great video comparison, Kimberlee! I have one of the Magic Bullet models, which is definitely more powerful. But the Blendjet 2 seemed interesting for taking to work or after the gym. Just wanted to confirm, Bed Bath & Beyond did honor the 20% coupon off this item! I’ve only had mine for a week so far, no issues yet. Hopefully you just got a bad unit and they’ll stand behind their warranty. I found that my phone charger isn’t very powerful, so I did get a higher watt charger and that made a huge difference in charging time.
Also, FYI I saw on the Magic Bullet site that they also recommend blending with water and some dish soap for a quick clean… so I’m doing a bit more of that. I think you’re right that a regular deep clean is needed every once in a while though!

If you don't want to use your normal blender, magic bullet has a pitcher attachment that I found on eBay. Seems they also had a juicer attachment too. My magic bullet is old, the 1st model of the original infomercials and it's still going strong. I also found on eBay the original silicone sealing rings just in case mine ever wears out.

Hello I bought this for when I’m traveling blend jet is more practical for that purpose only. Its just more compact. Otherwise, I use my other magic bullet blender at home only.
If you put the large pieces in and blend them to make room for the other ingredients. You could have a bad charger of a bad battery.. I just watched a video that did 30 blends on one charge.
I have both too. I use my Magic Bullet to grind coffee and my Blendjet for everything else.

i agree. The blue light you see when it’s charging, indicates how much is charged. When it’s fully charged, you’ll have a full blue ring. I use mine throughout the week and only charge it once a week, and it’s not even fully dead at the end of the week.
ALSO… they have a 32oz jar that i just got! I also saw after my 32oz jar arrived today, i that they also have a 20oz jar!
As far as washing, yes, blending a few drops of soap and hot water works perfectly. You can also take out the silicone gaskets and wash or rinse those.

I tried Blendjet’s jet pack smoothie in mocha chia and it was SO tasty! I used oat milk and ice and 2 20sec blends.i didn’t add any fruit so the blending was very smooth.

There is a power lock. Hold the power button down for 3 seconds to lock and to unlock the power lock. Then you have no accidental discharge.

I’m going to say that you got a lemon on your Blendjet 2, because I can use mine for 15 blends without a problem. The only problem I’ve had is that the jar is too small. I’m thinking about buying the bigger jar for the Blendjet 2. I already have the Magic Bullet and the NutriBullet . But the Blendjet works for moving around and traveling. If I get the proportions right, it’ll probably work for at home also.
try removing the jar from the base, see if thats draining the battery. i think it has a sensor running in the background
Blendjet shouldn’t be your only blender. I would use it for on the go. And use my big vitamix at home etc

I found out, that only work with fast charge adapter (iPad) and fast charge cable, but then it works for days!

And you compare the blender to the one off Amazon that has a as a magnetic Charging base. I believe it's called fresh juice blender.

Sounds like your batteries are defective, my blendjet actually charged (1.5 hours per their web sight) and still had a charge two weeks later…. They also recommend that occasionally you pull the blend jet apart, including pulling both of the silicone gaskets out and cleaning it by hand I find if I do that once a week it’s great.
That’s strange, I can go weeks without using my blendjet and it’ll still be fully charged, also my blender usually charges within an hour.
It may be one of the batteries is faulty. Needs to be replaced. Mine is almost 2 years old and I still get 15 blends per charge.

So glad it was helpful! Yea I think I would prefer a little more power too. I do like the automatic timed intervals..but having to press it multiple times isn’t ideal.
And you can't use the Blendjet while plugged in. And I assume it won't crush ice but I'm not sure why you would use crushed ice in a smoothly anyway ?

Thank you for the review! That was very helpful! I was seriously considering getting a BlendJet 2, but based on what you said, will not get one. The issue with it losing its charge would drive me crazy! I've had the Hamilton Beach personal blender before. In fact, I've had two of them, but burned out my second this morning, after only having it for 5 months. It's good for simple jobs, such as mixing protein powder into liquid, but not for large or thick smoothies. The blender was only about $15 on Amazon, but at this point, it may make more sense financially to get a more expensive one that lasts longer, rather than a cheap one that burns out every few months.
You charge once ... I have not have problem charging Blendjet ... I love it
the soap blend is a sort of quick clean, useful for when you're on the go to get the majority of stuff out of the blender. There's also the deep cleaning where you take it apart, remove silicone rings, ect and is recommended to do that as needed. I've found that way of cleaning to be best when adding any nuts or seeds to my smoothies. Coffee or fruit mixes the normal soap mode gets it clean.

I just ordered this today. My main reason for getting it, is the portability. At home I have a Vitamix, but I work as an agency social worker so I move around a lot. I'm hoping that this will work well enough as a portable blender. I may look at the magic bullet if I am ever some where permanent for work. Any thought regarding the magic bullet vs the nutribullet?
I gotta say, magic bullet always takes the cake for me lol
The magic bullet is my 6 year favorite. The blendjet was a big disappointment and customer service was an email only nightmare.

I have the first blendjet and have been debating on the blendjet 2 because I saw a review between the two. The 2nd one is supposed to be stronger. I wouldn't mind having a small at home one, in addition to that, that's smaller then what I own now though.
It does crush ice and makes a great margarita.

Got a 2 pack at Costco a few days ago and so far I've been quite impressed and I'm picky. The build quality is quite good. Haven't had any battery issues yet. Even chops ice but don't overload things all at once or you'll get the red light. I like the portability. Going to be great when I go camping. They also make an optional larger jar if needed.
I got mine at Costco also. It’s perfect, because now I can leave one at my daughter’s house and still have a portable blender at home.
you aren't having issues lining up the back arrows ? mine refuse to line up and this thing is going right back to kohl's .
No probably because I have a strong grip. My wife has trouble. Only issue I've had so far is that the paint on the blendjet logo on the front has completely rubbed off due to cleaning 😒

The arrows don't have to lined up exactly, turn the jar until you see the ring around the power button flash white. That means it's lined up. If it's flashing red it's not lined up. People please read the instructions that comes with the Blendjet so you know exactly how to work it and clean it.
