It is essential to be creative to make Zoom class feel worthwhile and to build community among the students. Bring your ideas to play with the tools to create the most engaging Zoom classroom possible. From the perspectives of a faculty member who's used Zoom to keep students on the edge of their seats and an instructional designer who can explain the pedagogy, in this session, we will:
    - Share tips for using breakout rooms to facilitate small group discussions.
    - Learn to use polls to take the temperature of the room, break up lectures, and allow students to give feedback without being called on.
    - Use the whiteboard tool for brainstorming with artistic creativity and learn to problem-solve.
    - Experience using screen share for presentations, videos, and even to play music.
    - Use chat to keep the discussion going, facilitate questions without interrupting the presenter, and even allow quiet students to share more freely.
    - Incorporate somatic breaks and games to help students focus their attention.
    Co-Facilitators:
    - Kim Ballard, Instructional Designer, CCAPS ATD
    - Megan Seltz, CSPH Faculty and CCAPS Adviser
