This is very helpful as it shows how phagocytosis functions. The visuals here helped me understand it better as I can actually see what is happening.

I really like how you are basing the entire lecture off of one picture with labeled steps. very organized and easy to understand after you break it down this way. great study material

The visual representation of phagocytosis made this much easier to understand.

I enjoyed how you explained the difference between cytokines and chemokines. I didn't even know that cytokines could be further subcategorized into other groups or that they were responsible for initiating chemotaxis/phagocytosis.

I liked how you give a brief definition of phagocytosis.
I liked how you drew out a diagram that you named, numbered, and explained the functions
of each step of the phagocytosis process and the pathogen. That helped me
understand the phagocytosis process better because as your talking about it I
can actually see what is happening.

  • @dominiqueceniceros9482

When I was in biology in both high school and college, many of my classmates had problems understanding phagocytosis and even to this day most likely still do not understand it. I wish they all had this video to watch back then! Wonderful step-by-step explanations and extremely helpful visuals.

Diagram was really helpful, I really appreciate how you draw things out and label things in chronological order to fully understand the process. Color coordination also are very helpful. Everyone learns different, some are visual learners, some like to color coordinate and some just learn as simple as listening, I think you do a great job of adding a little bit of everything in your videos.

How quickly is this process? Does the pathway varies if the pathogen is a greater threat? I really like the fusion of the lysomes and the pathogen creating phagosomes, it reminds me of dragonball Z when the characters fuse together. These step by step presentation is wondrous, the visual allows me to grasp the process more thoroughly.

Your step-by-step diagram was a little different from the books diagram on page 774 in that you described and went into depth about chemotaxis as being step one which I liked a lot more rather that starting at adherence of the phagocyte to the pathogen or debris.
