Also, I'd like to mention that I specifically didn't include Napoleon's French Empire in this video. You didn't take two things into account:
- The first French colonial empire included a way bigger part of India, which was mostly taken over by the British after the Seven Years War.
- France hold several concessions in China.
It should at least have some effect on demography.

@megafaune75 Bon,j'ai fait une sortie récemment au parlement européen (Strasbourg)et je le permet de donner une liste non exhaustive des qualités de l'Europe que ces gens m'ont donné.
-L'europe a la meilleure économie du monde,avec un total de 19 trillions de dollars par ans on surpasse les USA,les échanges en Europe sont les plus intenses et tout sorte de produits sont faits (ce qui nous rend autonome à moyen terme).
-Les droits fondamental de l'homme sont protégées (on l'oublie souvent mais notre déclaration des droits de l'homme et du citoyen sont encrée dans la constitution de l'UE).
Le voyage est bien moins chère et plus accessible avec l'espace Schengen.
l'UE nous permet de faire la transition énergétique (bon ça c'est assez controversé je l'avoue,mais y'a du progrès).
On a bien plus d'influence dans le monde(Dans quasiment tout les domaines l'UE permet de nous avancé)
Et enfin,le plus important d'après moi,la paix durable depuis plus de 60 ans.
Après tu as raison, l'UE a encore de gros problème,genre la migration, l'indépendance des pays membres dans le domaine juridique notamment (genre ça saoule de voir que l'UE nous fait des lois où nous infligeant)les inégalites etc..

The economic aspect blows by mind. This huge swath of the globe has 1/3 the GDP of France, and yet they at #7 are so far behind the US they can gain half the nation and still be #3 and the US wont even fall off #1. Crazy to think how much wealth is created in the East and West coast of the US.
The province of Quebec wasn't mentioned enough in this video and especially montreal being one of the largest citites in the new french empire. I don't think the course of history would have changed alot in regards to the french territories in the united states but Canada as whole could have possibly been part of france if history had happened slightly differently. Just France and Canada alone and the economic output and natural resources combined would have made france alot stronger than mentioned in this video as well as the population added by africa, vietnam and india. If france had not been under civil war at the time it would have held on to Canada and more than likely would have conquered the united states since france was in fact a stronger country at that moment in time. If not, Canada would definately be stronger and have a greater population than it is today.

These videos are just testaments to how absurd the American economy is today. NONE of the empires he's ever covered have beaten the US economy, and that's crazy. Even the Mongols and Rome have only come second place, both being world renown for their power and size. America shouldn't take it's wealth for granted, and understand that we're very fortunate to possess the wealth we do.
The wealth is very unequally distributed though. If, say, California were reabsorbed into Mexico, the US would collapse several places down the list of largest economies overnight. California alone would be the fourth largest economy in the world if it became an independent nation.
Michael Ball Wealth inequality is the stupidest issue though, I mean just because someone is better off then someone else doesn’t mean the person who isn’t rich is in a bad spot.

I'm just pointing out that America's status as the world's largest economy is essentially being propped up by one state (or maybe two if you count New York). Basically, the list demonstrates that the other 48 states contribute very little to the American economy in comparison. Especially compared with countries like Germany where wealth is more evenly distributed around the different states.
Michael Ball the average world income is about 10,000$ even with the poorest state of Mississippi the median average in Mississippi is 40,000$ that’s way more and just because a couple of states have high income other states still contribute for example North Dakota isn’t that rich compared to the other states but still supplies a lot of oil and yes Germany as more wealth equality but isn’t as rich the average median income for a US citizen is 63,000$ while for German citizens it’s 43,000 what this suggest is that you can have places with wealth inequality and people on average are richer but places with low wealth inequality are poorer.
