The Calamity Mod is a large content mod for Terraria which adds many hours of endgame content and dozens of enemies and bosses dispersed throughout the vanilla game's progression. The Calamity Mod also features several harder difficulty modes, 5 new biomes and new structures, a new class, a new leveling mechanic, more than 30 new songs, over 50 recipes for previously uncraftable vanilla items, and other assorted changes to vanilla gameplay.

The boss rush is also reworked - a lot of the bosses now have more special attacks, the rush is now an actual challenge
That's sick, though it seems kind of a waste considering how incredibly broken endgame equipment is

I think when people do that they have the music on mute and are just listening to their own music. I still don't really understand that since the music is so good and a part of the reason I got into Calamity. But people can play games however they wanna play them, doesn't affect me.

I kinda sad Wingman and Omicron are not ranger class weapons. They dont feel like magic weapons, controllable drones are more in line with ranger being gun maniac. Tempted to learn how to code just to make patch that switches their damage type...
in my opinion they both seem pretty well placed in mage, i mean, the laser machine gun is also mage and its pretty similar (alongside a plethora of other laser-gun mage weapons), albeit much better looking, honestly if anything id say the whole controllable drones thing seems more in line with summoner, but if it was between mage and ranged id go with the first option
@@BrewsLament actually, I disagree and think its part of the problem. Energy weapons also should be in ranger class. They literally GUNS.
@@exploertm8738 agreed. Feels somewhat inconsistent with some energy guns being mage and others being ranger.
@@plate1014 railguns are energy weapons that not consume ammo yet they are firmly placed in ranger class by calamity. Just off of top of my head.
@@exploertm8738 by that logic like 75% of melee weapons should be mage, they magically summon projectiles when you swing them, the only difference between them and mage weapons is that there's a extra hitbox near the player that 90% of people don't use
i think it's best to try to not use logic when deciding an items placement in terms of class, especially mage since it can effectively be described as the "random fun stuff that's too unique to fit into other classes" class (not to mention the fact that it's a pretty well used item for mages, just handing it over to ranger would get at least a few people upset), also, there's more energy mage weapons than energy ranged weapons, so it would make sense for it to automatically go to mage instead of ranged
The supernova is just so… I don’t know, it itches my brain in a good way

We love the norfleet in this household, glad it was reworked and uses BL2 sounds
Most favorite thing so far is draetalk and the resprite and reworks, most favorite weapon rework imo is the supernova and the pearl god, mostly the supernova of farming stuff eaiser lmao

Just my opinion but if you add somehere the class that weapon belongs to whould be great bc i can look at stealth strikes and the swing animation to determin the weapon class it whould be nice if you just added it, but your videos are really high quality love the way you group weapons by reword or added or resprited and so on, keep up the good work and now whenever the calamity mod is updated i know just the channel to check the update out. Keep up the good work.

Question: Does anyone else's Skeletron Prime have two heads, one with yellow eyes, and one with purple, and that forces both the Destroyer and the Twins to spawn during the fight? No one seems to be talking about this. The only mods downloaded are Calamity, Calamity Music, Better Zoom Mod, and Lights And Shadows.

It's practically Terraria+ all you need to know is that almost EVERY weapon can be upgraded alot, so try hoarding your items

I started to replay it 2 days before the update. I killed Desert Scourge, updated it, and went to kill him again and couldnt do it
Apparently, death got a rework it's now actually a challenge and not some walk in the park
Crabulon also has a new weapon. Its a low damage but very fast speed melee weapon
