I find the composition burial is the most humane and respectful way to honor someone. You can actually SEE the lasting affect that person had on the planet
Use the composted remains of your loved one to plant a redwood. They become part of the tree- a monument that could potentially stand for thousands of years (if planted in the right spot)- much longer than embalmed remains underground. It's perfect.

@@Opossumi2010 Australia is a huge country size of mainland US and it was dry and there was a few fires. But it wasn’t as bad as the video made it out to be. The video was very dramatised, but the fires were devastating to some areas. A lot of bush land as well as communities. What was most disappointing was our then Prime Minister went on a holiday to Hawaii during the fires, it was one of the reasons you lost the federal election. I am about 1500km (900 miles) from were the fires were but what I saw on TV was horrible.

Little known fact, firewood grows on trees. Unless there are constant smaller fires to keep the amount of fuel down, large fires will occur as the amount of potential fuel grows.
A sad truth. The Aboriginal people used to do regular burns which reduced the load of fuel on the ground and preventing these huge hot-burn fires too. White men of today make them illegal and make bushfires worse. Plus, good one firewood growin' on trees. Vets wouldn't have to kill all the damaged animals as farmers will shoot their own stock.
Obviously common sense. If wood is wet it doesn't burn. My province is 85% forested mostly in softwood and it has never had a serious forest fire...because it's wet....because we have trees.
Most of the kangaroos on farms wouldn't be there if the farmer hadn't first built a dam, creating a source of water in the desert. So the farms are not really taking habitat from the roos, if the roos weren't there to begin with. I learnt this when I actually went there backpacking and worked on a farm.

I believe part of the reason kangaroos are destructive in Australia is because farming provided them with a lot of food unintentionally. Populations exploded, and more roos hung around farms for food. This means that farming made them destructive to begin with

The same thing happened with deer who I believe have similar habits to kangaroos. At least in the United States. Both are good eating too so I think there's nothing wrong with hunting them, it's when people don't consume them that it's a waste

There is one case where dead things are very dangerous, and it's beached whales. The gas can build up inside them to the point that it creates a violent explosion. I'm actually kinda glad this channel just brought some positive coverage of human composting. It's really struggling to be pushed through and made legal in more places. It's really is an extremely good alt way to handle bodies. It's not barbaric, doesn't have so many toxic side effects, is good in areas where graveyard and cemetery space is limited, and can have so many positive return when used. The people that do it really care about respecting the bodies of your deceased loved ones.

Cremation doesn't release any significant amount of pollutants if done properly. A secondary burner set to 1000 degrees Celsius burns off any smoke so the only thing coming out of the stack is pretty much heat.

Australia did have some large fires but it was only a very small percentage of our land. Fires are required in our forests to allow many species of trees to seed and they have been happening for centuries. I think the worse problem of all of this is how progression blind sides the negative vs positive effects. Everyone wants money or to be the biggest thing but Australia obviously can't give as much as it's being demanded of. I think that continent is probably the most fragile and probably the first example to be made that deciding a small population of leaders with no idea of every single issue vs the people who just carry out the job even if everything burns to the ground. Like we have the answers to the problems but it requires everyone to slow down which no one is willing to do. So things like this are going to probably keep happening until the human population/progression itself is 'managed' either through nature or humans itself. I'm not aussie myself but reading the comments it seems they know alot more about their own issues than what can be said and that's kinda what i just came to the conclusion of.
I plan to donate my remains to The Body Farm in Tennessee or Texas. It actually brings me joy to know that even after death...I still may teach others.
When I was in medical school, we were assigned human cadavers, and for an entire semester we had our specific cadaver. When the semester was over, we thanked them for contributing to our education, they were cremated, and we had a ceremony for their family members where we presented them with the ashes, and we thanked them as well. It’s not easy to know that someone you love has died, and their wishes mean foregoing traditional burial & memorial practices…and also that a stranger is dissecting them. It was important for us to to know that they had the opportunity to meet us, to know that we treated their loved ones with the respect they deserved, and that the education they contributed to would allow us to save lives. I think donating your body to science, in any capacity, is a deeply important sacrifice to make, and I’m so grateful for the people who make it.

the reason why the fires were so server is because the Green Ecotards in power stopped people from back burning, removal of excess ground debris and the making of fire breaks. Not to mention it was the Ecotards type that lit them.

So we gave them feed lots and water they never had before settlement and like rats mince and rabbits they breed like crazy when conditions allow this. @@Opossumi2010 Australia is a huge country size of mainland US and it was dry and there was a few fires.
But it wasn’t as bad as the video made it out to be.
The video was very dramatised, but the fires were devastating to some areas. A lot of bush land as well as communities. What was most disappointing was our then Prime Minister went on a holiday to Hawaii during the fires, it was one of the reasons you lost the federal election.
I am about 1500km (900 miles) from were the fires were but what I saw on TV was horrible.

Little known fact, firewood grows on trees. Unless there are constant smaller fires to keep the amount of fuel down, large fires will occur as the amount of potential fuel grows.
A sad truth. The Aboriginal people used to do regular burns which reduced the load of fuel on the ground and preventing these huge hot-burn fires too. White men of today make them illegal and make bushfires worse.
Plus, good one firewood growin' on trees.
Vets wouldn't have to kill all the damaged animals as farmers will shoot their own stock.

Obviously common sense. If wood is wet it doesn't burn. My province is 85% forested mostly in softwood and it has never had a serious forest fire...because it's wet....because we have trees.
Most of the kangaroos on farms wouldn't be there if the farmer hadn't first built a dam, creating a source of water in the desert. So the farms are not really taking habitat from the roos, if the roos weren't there to begin with. I learnt this when I actually went there backpacking and worked on a farm.
Roos occupy a lot more of Australia than just the desert.

That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. There is one case where dead things are very dangerous, and it's beached whales. The gas can build up inside them to the point that it creates a violent explosion. It's why being around a dead whale on the beach, or wherever, is a really bad idea. Especially if there's any kind of bulging on its body.

I'm actually kinda glad this channel just brought some positive coverage of human composting. It's really struggling to be pushed through and made legal in more places. It's really is an extremely good alt way to handle bodies. The people that do it really care about respecting the bodies of your deceased loved ones.

Australia did have some large fires but it was only a very small percentage of our land. Fires are required in our forests to allow many species of trees to seed and they have been happening for centuries. There are zero concerns about dead animals poisoning out water supplies and no concerns about digging 2 meters into the earth.
We need our scavangers. They are what cleans up the sick that lays around when the animal lays there and putrifies. They help not hurt. Don't blame them for being bad when there doing what there evolutionary designed to do.

I think the worse problem of all of this is how progression blind sides the negative vs positive effects. Everyone wants money or to be the biggest thing but Australia obviously can't give as much as it's being demanded of. I think that continent is probably the most fragile and probably the first example to be made that deciding a small population of leaders with no idea of every single issue vs the people who just carry out the job even if everything burns to the ground. Like we have the answers to the problems but it requires everyone to slow down which no one is willing to do. So things like this are going to probably keep happening until the human population/progression itself is 'managed' either through nature or humans itself. I'm not aussie myself but reading the comments it seems they know alot more about their own issues than what can be said and that's kinda what i just came to the conclusion of.

I plan to donate my remains to The Body Farm in Tennessee or Texas. It actually brings me joy to know that even after death...I still may teach others.
When I was in medical school, we were assigned human cadavers, and for an entire semester we had our specific cadaver. When the semester was over, we thanked them for contributing to our education, they were cremated, and we had a ceremony for their family members where we presented them with the ashes, and we thanked them as well. It’s not easy to know that someone you love has died, and their wishes mean foregoing traditional burial & memorial practices…and also that a stranger is dissecting them. It was important for us to to know that they had the opportunity to meet us, to know that we treated their loved ones with the respect they deserved, and that the education they contributed to would allow us to save lives.

That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. There is a commonly used map showing Australia at night. Seems the highest concentration of night time lights is somewhere in the Kimberlys. In reality, if you went there you would find it difficult to find another person within 100Ks. But, according to the map, you would seem to be in the center of a city with a radius of 500 to 1000K.
