What made you go to that enclosure?, was it better output for your subs? Was it because you had space? Only reason I'm asking is because I'm going to do 6 12s in a dodge caravan and I'm stuck between a subs up port back enclosure or a wall enclosure, thanks in advance

it's so crazy seeing what people do now days with all these speakers. in my day (20 years ago) i had 1 crossfire xt2 15 with 2 crossfire 1ks at .7 ohms and doing numbers like 12 12's lol most people dont understand it's not how many subs you got it's how much power you can get to them! love your vids.

@@TheDoozie43 I had stock alt big 3 and double batts and a few caps wasn't special. But loved it. 1 sub 4.5 cube ported box walled well over 150 with 2 crossfire class d 1ks I got 2 of them subs now gonna recone em and I still have that amp and it works lol
No not 12 12s not even close period , I’m old school and cone area will always be king ! Sounds like the typical ( oh this car was so fast it would pull the tires at 40 mph )

Nice did you notice any difference on low end performance since you been using full bridge amps compared to the Korean half bridge designs. I’m running the ds18 hooligan ko series it’s Korean fullbridge but it’s sized small like the Brazilian amps. I thought about going fullbridge because the same amount of power costs less but is it worth it. People say half ridge sound lower in bass but I don’t believe that I think it all in your settings and box for how low it sounds
I was previously running full bridge Vulcan and swapping to these I can tell a little cleaner low bass then before. It’s all in user preference as audibly it’s hard to tell unless you play real lows
How are the amps holding up. I’m thinking about getting two for my build.I’ll be running two Nsv5 15s in a small hatchback.
They did great for last years system with no issues ever and great clamp results.

Both about the same but can tell the bravo is better at the lower frequencies as expected since Vulcan is full range, stronger internals too

Does the stetsom bravo 8000 get hot after lots of demos? I will be wiring to .75 ohm starting load
I’ve denied them up to 2 hours straight and only got warm to touch never hot, fans keep up well. I ran at 1 ohm

I was planning on getting 2 taramp bass 8k then I seen the bravo for about $100 less per amp. I also like the crossover on the bravos. I have own some taramps, but I never own anything make by stetsom

How do these bravos compare sound wise say to a taramp bass or md
Sound wise it will be similar to the bass version as to be expected, md isn’t best for subs.

md12k (.5ohm version $670 on sale I was thinking about 2 of them and wire down to .66 each amp. Or maybe 🤔 just one md12 @.33 ohm but the Power consumption and efficiency will be affected negatively with the md line.
Other 2 amplifier options are
2 bass 8k ($660) or (2 bravo 8k amps ($520ea) I’m trying run 12 d2 subs 1100 rms each. But they can take more watts at times.
I have 3 of the same subs on a smart 3 bass right now, wired @.33ohms getting about 5kw dynamically.
@@Bigislandguy I would go with 3 bass 8ks OR 2 12k .5 ohm. I’ve never been a fan of the .5 ohm amps as wiring that low ohm wise is more to me for Korean amps but technology had advanced. Nice system you got goin.

I don't think so , those underground batteries are not that good. Compared to a 80ah yinglong bank

Low 13s when I was 4-6clicks down, near clipping drops to low 12s. I don’t have dual Alts so it will struggle

Hey David yes I have been using them a while now and have great results as well as no issues and good power output on the lows for the subs. Right now they are actually on sale on amzn.to/3c7hxoy so definitely a good time to buy before they go back to normal price. The only thing I wish they had different was dual speaker outputs, but that's nothing major for me. :)

I called sonic electronix about my order and they sent me half of it and sadly it’s discontinued so know I have a roll of power wire that I can’t match been waiting half a year and they said it would “restock” but when I called they told me it was no longer available
Downfall for some products seems companies sell out end don’t plan for restocks.

Just a wtf question ...where's your fuses I didn't see any during the install maybe I'll see them at the end? I was told that you needed fuses between your battery in your amps within 12 in of your battery in case something goes wrong. was I lied to?
He only fuses the after alt runs to the batteries.
@@OrionHCCC26 I had a dd 2500 fused at first battery then not fused a second.. the amp was installed that way by a company and it popped, and when it did it took 2 kicker cvr 15s with it 🙄...so that's why I was like new amps ,not fused, big risk , or that's what I've been lead to believe..
@@christhopherlasher2828 I'll tell ya a "secret," most big builds don't use fuses after the alt run. Putting fuses after that (in between batteries and amps, ect, is a waist of time and just adds more resistance.
But the point is, putting fuses in those areas won't matter. Know why? Because they power supplies inside the amps will pop before the fuses do.
This is fact. So that's why all of us big builds don't fuse in those areas.
Don't play into all the people preaching to fuse in every dam spot cause it doesn't matter.
Fuse your runs off your alt (in between alt and first battery) and you'll be good to go.
I fuse from front to back only incase I do back work but not between battery and amp as I like a direct line to amp from battery for best current. It’s safe to have fuses yes.

There’s always a small grasp of audience in the community that hates on Brazilian power amps because of past issues or rumors. I only know what I have seen and used and never had any issues. 👍

@@850CANE I don't know the full answer on that, you should email/contact stetsom or pull up head-to-head browser manual of both to compare. You ever break a sub in or stretch a spider like physically before ever powering it?
Gotta be careful and apply even pressure but a shop press is so sickly perfect. Other than that hopefully if ya made it this far your only using pre baked coils or it will stink.
But ya man seriously there's alot of ways to bake a coil in sub also before hooking to music.

How are the compared to in price to the smart fives? I am clamping a ton of power out my smart fives, I run six of the on six crossfire xt3 18s and it doesn't w really well in a big sixth order b pillar I think they r the Amp to have if u need 4-8kw of power
Ever think about trying Deaf bounce apocalypse series amps? Pretty efficient on good electrical. I got a aab2900.1 sitting on a shelf for now but I use to have it on a single 15 avatar stu and it pushed that sub pretty good on stock electrical. Did way better than my md3k and sfb2k

Always good to have head room to never clip or never max out the amps, plus with some voltage drop and impedance rise it will be good for the 3-4k :)

David from PSI owes me a Platform 5 18 from when I ordered it over 7 months ago. Filed a claim with PayPal. If you payed with PayPal, you have to file a dispute within 6 months or you lose the ability to get your money back.
I hear a lot of bad hype about lifepo4 batteries, I have a set with 105 ah, with a taramps smart bass 5k, my voltage with engine off doesn't drop below 13.6 volts, with engine off and stock alt believe it's 130 - 140 amps, the voltage stays above 14.3, granted these batteries require a Inductance Balancing Protection PCB, inexpensive, you can get multiple individual 4s or gettem with upto 16 I believe, 16 for 4 sets, and the lifepo4 batteries you can get anywhere around 10 - 300 ah, put them in plastic or wood containers, the're maintenance free.
Some of the worst batteries u can buy for a large system.
@@HardKnocks160s to each is own, it works for me, I've been running this for months, they take up less room then any other lithium batteries that cost 10+ times as much as these do!
I use to run 3 18s clamping 12k with 3 agm's on a stock alt with 230 amps, with voltage dropping below 12, I'd probably wouldn't have been able to get away with it if wasn't running a Korean amp.
@@Krotos1970 that's not good dropping that low clamping that much power I clamp over 10k on my wall build only drop to 15.4v full blast Charge at 15.5v hot at idle jumps right back up to 15.5v fast any Yinglong, Lishen lto , Cmax - proto , bank will be much better in the long run especially when your demoing for hours comfortable ,with very little voltage drop clamping more power.
I guess ppl have different budgets but if it makes u happy that's all that matters 👍
You should use a cc1 or dmm to set filters😖 those pots are not accurate, the components of each amp are not matched

Be carefull with stetsom amps, much like taramps they hate low voltage, stetsom is less forgiving tho, automatic fire/meltdown
Never had any problems in the last year l+ with them but I also know the limits and minimal vibration or heat
Aslong as your voltage stay above 11.8 your golden but the older stetsom amps hated dropping below 12 and almost always caught fire from it

@@JacobViral Yeah if those are anything like the taramps at all they need the juice. When it come's time for more lithium I'd say you will another number or two on top of the 65. Your set up has a lot of potential from what I see. I see 170 in the future if you ever upgrade your electrical more with this build. Maybe not with this amp set up but potential is definitely there.
