Muchas personas no van a entender el video. The Rasmus no es una banda cualquiera, si esperaban ver un video pop, promedio, normal, estan equivocados. Larga vida al arte y al riesgo de The Rasmus
Rodrigo D me cuesta entender que una tremenda canción. La arruinen con un video simple y sin sentido.
entiendo tu punto, pero no ser normal ni promedio no es significado a que sea gratificante pera el publico que es fan de the rasmus, no es que esperaramos ver algo "normal" pero creo que hay momentos para apreciar el arte de un corto cinematografico y otros para deleitarnos con la musica de la banda que esperamos escuchar pero que es practicamente tan tenue en este video.

there is this robot who lives alone and seems to feel loneliness ... is a situation that many people live and is really sad, sin for the music that feels in the background...love the Rasmus
A mi punto de vista, el vídeo le da el toque perfecto al significado de la canción. En una entrevista, Laury dijo que cuando escribió esta canción, el estaba pasando por el cambio de mudarse a Estados unidos y estaba adaptándose.
A veces todos criticamos pero no nos ponemos a pensar que hay en el trasfondo de las cosas.
A mí me encantó el vídeo, amo la manera en que The Rasmus, con el tiempo ha ido jugando con los vídeos y canciones.

i think the message of this video is that explains how a person can live a ''robotic'' and monotone life.
each day that it goes by, you do the exact same thing over and over again. there is nothing new, no excitement. until you reach a point where you hit the lowest and you are deactivated like the robot.
then you reset your lifestyle and start something new.

I've always pictured the music video for this song with a person walking in the night, on empty streets, listening to this song with the snow falling slowly ( pretty much what happened yesterday in Paris :) )

This video is not a standard one, it's quite difficult to watch it, but it only shows how attached we are to standard videos and/or other forms of art. And art shouldn't be standard, it should be free from it. So in general, I really liked the video :)

Well I remember how Lauri said the song Silver Night is about being refused and abbadoned by the others, so I can understand that the message of the video.
The concept that I picture is how technology is taking over us and the way we try to show we can disconnect (by turning off the robot and coming back to our old life) but we always keep following it wherever it goes.

That was unusual, different, creative in a sense, just like how it is to hear music from outside your own room or someone else's room, or just how empty the night can be or simply how lonely and robotic (disconnected from the reality) we can become yet not seeing the guys in the music vídeo was quite weird as well... but that could be due to the fact that we, like robots are listening to their music or any artist music, disconnected from everything. Each one of us could be a robot.
Ricardo Manuel Arana así como lo explicas le da un mejor sentido al robot del video, es como hacer las en automático, y escuchar la canción a lo lejos xq estaba así, lejos, casi como en un mundo distinto, aunque nos parece algo aburrido el video porque estamos acostumbrados a ver otras cosas en sus videos me hace pensar que lo quiso transmitir lauri en el video fue su estado de ánimo, la soledad. Aunque si se entiende eso en la canción cuando dice lobo solitario. Creo q ya hasta terminó gustandome el video jeje aunque sigue molestandome un poco el ruido del robot en la canción.
En esta canción Lauri dice que se que sentía como un lobo solitario fuera de la manada cuando estaba en Los Ángeles sin ver a los demás integrantes por si no les gusta o no entienden el video de nada 😌🐺

Few points.
First: It's "official video", not "official MUSIC video". The song isn't meant to be the main thing in here. The audio is for listening purposes.
Second: The short film tells a story that's not LITERALLY about the lyrics of Silver Night BUT it still is. Stop the kind of "I wanted to see wolves" comments. Yeah, I love wolves and I would've liked to see them too but you can always go to watch nature documents if wolves are the main thing to you.
Third: Respect the artists view. If you'd like a different video, go make one and stop criticizing. No one is holding you back from creating from your point of view a 'better' video for the song. And you can always create a lyricvideo with wolves in it if it's, again, your favourite thing about the song.
Fourth: Take one of the latest Fall Out Boy's music video, for example. The one with guys in Yeti-suits. It's weird, a lot of weirder than this in my opinion. Every video isn't meant to be 'normal', and I think it's cool to see different visions.
And last but not least: I like this video, I really do. The whole concept is very creative and unique, not anyone could make up something like that. Thank you! 💗
Amapanda :3 Personally, I find the FOB llamas much less weird than this. ;) I think the 'problem' here is TR advertising their new MUSIC video, so, naturally, people expect it to be about the music and not be some sort of artistic short film. I don't care if bands change their style and try new stuff. It's completely up to them. But it is also completely up to the rest of us whether we like it or not. :)
