  • What is Regenerative Grazing and how can we successfully implement it on our own ranch?
In this webinar Allen Williams will help us:
    · Define regenerative grazing
    · Provide the foundational principles behind successful grazing
    · Explore real-life case studies
    · Look at how regenerative grazing not only benefits our soil, forage biomass production, and ecosystems, but how it creates significant opportunities for greater net profits while reducing input costs
To quote Don Campbell, “To make small changes, change the way you do things. To make big changes, change the way we see things.”
This webinar will help us see things in a different light. In this fast-changing agricultural landscape, we need change that allows us to be financially successful; reduce dependence on expensive inputs; reduce our debt load; and increase the resilience of our soils, plant, and livestock.
Allen Williams is a 6th generation family farmer and founding partner of Grass Fed Insights, LLC, Understanding Ag, LLC and the Soil Health Academy. He has consulted with more than 4000 farmers and ranchers in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, South America, and other countries, on operations ranging from a few acres to over 1 million acres.

Dr. Allen Williams and Understanding Ag are fantastic. I recommend everyone I introduce to regenerative ag and adaptive grazing to them.
I just wanted to give my opinion on how to further advance regenerative farming and ranching, especially to the older generation of farmers. In my opinion, to help this generation of farmers understand the benefits of this style of farming, drive home the points of nutrient density in food and positive health impact in animals grazed this way. Yes, Understanding Ag does a great job of this, but I think citing some of these peer reviewed publications would further validate these talking points and give this generation of farmers an opportunity to see the research. I’m sure, in their brains they validate their style of farming from the industrial ag model and research conducted by universities. So let’s give them counter research to show regenerative ag is better for human health, soil health, plant health, an animal health. Basically we need to shine a light on the proof that regenerative ag is the way to go.

If there are no financial restrictions what would be the fastest way to make pastures able to handle heavy stocking rates? If weather conditions are favorable.

Carbon........isnt that what we found in dry cell batteries ? The tips on carbon welders / brazing ?? The tube through the center ????? Ive rotational grazed my cattle now for 50 years......never once did I hear about " carbon " ! It was always called " organic matter " now carbon ??? Sorry....but there is no need to complicate life/ grazing !
