As a Michael Jordan collector, those are real signatures for sure. Those 3 cards are about $400. The cards are common, but his signature is worth about $130 to $150 apiece.

Re: the strike error on the nickle at 12:25, have it checked out. Those can be worth something. Nickles in the 1960's weren't silver. Half dollars from 65 to 69 were 40% silver. 1964 half dollars were 90% I believe.

How about on a slow day when you don't have any storage lockers to show us you go out and do a dumpster diving like once a week. Love your storage lockers that you find but I also like you dumpster diving as well, hope you do more of them again and some of your magnet fishing too & maybe once in awhile when it's nice out go and do some trash picking in garbage bins at apartment buildings or from the sides of the road in front of people's homes like you've done a few times before.

Whoever did that would have seen a 1943 and PROBABLY would have withheld it, if for no other reason than a separate contest. I remember hearing about some 1965 quarters accidentally being minted with the 1964 and older silver process. 1964 was the last year coins were stamped with 90% silver 10% copper but I did hear about some 1965 and 1968 quarters. Being stamped silver. One of those 1965 quarters I think sold for around $15,000. Also 1965 they had some error coins double stamps and double tails. Some coins 1965 and newer can be worth alot all because of errors or mint Mark's. The 1965 quarters though were all minted at only the Philadelphia mint so they have no mint Mark's. I have heard of any 1965 quarter having a mint mark so if any of those you have do indeed have a mint mark that could be worth a lot of money. I'm sure you had them looked at but if I were you I'd read up on each year coin you have to see why they were worth keeping. My guess each coin there has something special to it. I think I read somewhere that a tin penny dated 1944 or 43 with a certain mint mark was worth over a million dollars. I may be wrong on the years and value but I know a certain tin penny is very valuable

Works every time on the first try sometimes the 3rd. But it works. My brother showed me and he learned it from the military for quick access.

Cutoff for silver in dimes, quarters and halves is 1964 and before....1965-69 halves part silver
Please stop placing coins on top of each other..
    Scratches them
If more valuable...avoid touching coins on front and back....i.e. pick-up by edge
Finally. You need to start learning mint marks on coins...denotes where manufactured and leads to number of coins manufactured by that mint...that year...and will help you determine value
I'm glad your keeping the finds..
Just stop lessening the value by scratching and getting your prints all over the finds
Finally...the condition of each coin will determine the coin's value
But your doing great in a little over a month...at this rate you'll be able to retire on this collection alone...keep it up!!!!!

Error nickel worth some money, all the half dollars worth money as well. They have a fairly high silver percentage. Quarters could be silver. On all coins you should check mint markings as well. Some are rare. Whatever you do please do not clean them it will remove value from the coin. You easily paid for the lockbox several times over .

  • @christopherschoffstall7334

1909 vdb pennies are worth a few dollars. The vdb is the initials of the designer of the coin. If you find a1909 vdb penny with the "s" mint mark (San Francisco), it is worth a little more.

Three things for you jebus 1 doesn't matter how much it cost to get those cards appraised I would do it they're not a rookie card but they still are Michael Jordan so it can potentially pay for itself plus appraisal 2 find out how much the role would sell by itself if not open it up 3 don't tell the guy if you buy a safe from him again what you're getting out of it of course I'm sure you know that but sometimes in a small awkward conversation of someone you don't know it's like word vomit

1884 is a morgan silver dollar. The newer one is a peace dollar if memory serves. The morgans are in extremely good condition, rarely do you see them that good, specially 1800s ones

Half dollars are 1970 and earlier are silver! 1964 and earlier are 90% silver, 1965-1970 are 40% silver. Quarters and dimes 1964 and earlier, nickles 1942-45, dollars are a little tricky. Also coins with an s mint may be silver proofs. The box is Definitely worth the $60, that Morgan dollar and the walking liberty alone make the price of the box or close to it and the crap load of other half dollars are an awesome score. Let me know if you're selling! Also the other dollar coin from the 1920s-1930s is a peace dollar, also silver. I keep editing as I watch haha, the Quarters are standing liberty quarters, also silver. The commemorative ones are most likely silver too.

Half dollars 1964 90% silver 1965-1970 40% silver, off center nickel has some value, the Walker is 90% and collectable if you come across war nickels from 1942-1945 they are 35% silver and will have a large P D & S above Monticello

Just watched a guy who buys boxes of half dollars to hunt for silver coins. He said in the video that half dollars are 40% silver through 1969 and an older 64 coin is 90% silver, so they are worth far greater then their face value as scrap silver

I used to collect some of Michael Jordan's stuff in the 90's. I didn't have an autographed one though. That nickel is an error strike and could be worth a few dollars. I have watched a bunch of channels that have metal detectors and they find old coins all the time. Maybe you could watch a few incase you don't find a value. Great video! I hope you both had fun on your trip!

Half dollars from 1965-1970 are 40% silver. Half dollars from 1964 and back are 90% silver, and the same for any quarter, dime or dollar coins. Only 1942-1945 nickels have 40% silver. Hope this helps!

Nickels minted between 1942 and 1945 are 35% silver. Half dollars minted between 1965 and 1970 are 40% Silver. Half dollars, quarters, dimes, and dollar coins minted in 1964 or earlier are 90% silver. You might have a closer look to see if any of the Eisenhower dollars have an S mint mark. If they do, they could be silvers or proofs. The error nickel is called an off center strike and can be worth big money. The 1884 coin @ 18:40 is a Morgan dollar it’s 90% silver and it is actually in very nice shape. Its easily worth 30 dollars. The the 1922 coin @ 19:30 is a Peace Dollar and is also 90% silver and is at least worth 25 dollars. The old quarter @ 22:24 is called a Standing Liberty Quarter. Hope this helps. Get yourself a red book for coin identification. It will help you a whole lot.

And one thing you can do is when you're at a C-store is ask the clerk if they have any interesting change...I used to work at a C-store and had one guy who would come in around 3-4 in the morning after he got off shift and he collected odd coins/bills...so I would keep an eye out and at least once a week I would give him his change in Silver certificates (bills) and odd quarters/dimes/nickels

Like most people are saying in the. Newer years coins it could be just something as simple as a misprint or double stamp some of the double stamps are very hard to see. I use a jeweler's eye loop and you can have a double beard or head stamp that you may not notice without good magnification

The teddy bear probably belong to someone whose child died or it belonged to their child when they were a baby and they wanted to keep it for them. You never know but it obviously was something very important and sentimental. The screwdriver and bottle opener you got me unless they were remembering good times when they were in college LOL!

I would investigate those old coins. Don't clean them. Don't open that roll. Could be worth more money unopened. See if there is a coin show around you. You can find out a lot of information there
