My New Favorite Smart Watch | Huawei Watch GT4 Review

- Today we take a look at the Huawei Watch GT4 to see what this new smartwatch is, how it looks and if it is actually any good.
I tested the Huawei Watch GT4 for the last few weeks using my Samsung Galaxy S23 to not only test the watch on how it performs, but how it performs using an Android device since the watch supports Android and iOs, so I thought it would be worth it for people looking to buy this watch for their Android or iOs device.
The Huawei Watch GT4 performed really well, it looks good and it worked great on my Samsung Galaxy S23, which is great. The battery is absolutely amazing and even with high to medium usage, it only dropped around 10% each day.

an not adjust the brightness of the AOD, or set brightness of AOD to auto(ge accordingly to the environment light)
@@user-cx6rg6mr7d you can change the brightness, it is under settings and there is also an auto setting

@user-cx6rg6mr7d usually AoD is lower to protect the screen especially with OLED displays, might be the case

Hahaha yeah I get that a lot. Used to speak with Americans daily and that converted my accent that side a bit, but it has become more neutral over the last few years.

Yeah the black one is very clean.
The black 46mm has a raised bezel to protect the screen.
That's cool, didn't actually see how the black ones look, just assumed the color is the only difference

Can charge the battery of GT 4 with another usual QI wireless charger? Or only with charger supplied in box by Huawei?
i have tried succesfully using my samsung s22+ to reverse charge this watch . and YES the wireless charger that i have for my s22+ can charge this watch also .

I had the GT2 pro with so many free watch faces but i recently got the GT4 watch and now this option is gone, when i go to the app on my phone and check the watch faces nothing comes up, I can only see the paid faces and there isnt an option for free, why is this? how can it be fixed?

You can buy the 41mm version (Matte Black) but the battery life is reduced to 7 days.
Is it possible to respond to chats or is it limited to custom chats and quick replies only?

I have not been able to connect it no. There is apparently a beta app that helps you connect other devices directly but people have been having mixed results with it. The app is called Health Connect and you can download it from within Samsung Health

How can you say that smartwatches don't look like watches? Most Wear OS watches and many Huawei, Xiaomi and Amazfit watches look like normal watches, only apple watch and other square ones look like smart bands and similar.
That is not true yes there are more watch looking smartwatch out there today, but Huawei doesn't have many, maybe one lineup with a few generations, same with Xiaomi. All these brands have more either just round ones or the square ones and then maybe one iteration that looks like an actual watch
Except you can’t buy it in the US and it doesn’t work on carriers. Pretty much makes it useless

It is almost a good fitness watch but... Heart rate is inaccurate (for me) when running as it locks on to my running cadence not heart rate so I have to use an external sensor. The GPS track is inaccurate (smoothed) so you cut corners, lots of broad sweeps. It does not upload HR data to Strava. It does not link to TrainingPeaks. You can't download the data directly (.fit or .tcx formats) so essentially a closed ecosystem. No calendarised structured training. No website to peruse running data. In fact, come to think of it, not a good fitness watch.😐
The Galaxy watch 6 classic for me is the best it looks classical like a real watch and has wear OS
