The 22-year-old Filipino-American from Bulacan bested 52 other candidates and will represent the country in the upcoming Miss Universe pageant in Mexico this November.

My gosh she doesn’t have a team, and much resources. She was all on her own. It can be so detrimental to your fighting spirit in the competition especially it’s a 4 long months, seeing your competitors, other delegates everyday having a whole team, makeup artist, PA, designers, expensive wardrobe choices and even sponsors to support, while you only have your dad and mom to support you all along. Even trained herself for all her walks, amazing.
You need to be so mentally strong to put yourself through all these, and she did it basically alone. Her fighting spirit and her core values to believe in herself is so strong, I could never….
i think she will follow in the footsteps of Catriona and MMD...pag-aaralan nya maigi ang laban nya...she will come up with a strategy similar to Catriona and MMD,,,she is creative, transformative....she has an innate advocacy that will catapult her to the crown...will lift up the Filipino flag at the Miss Universe stage in Mexico,,,,,,may pagka nationalist itong babaeng ito.....i think she is really the best candidate of the country in Miss U 2024...Go Go Go for the crown with God's help and your hardwork and determination...
Good points. I think it worked to her advantage because she could truly be herself and not necessarily do things because she was advised to do so. She felt very natural. Kung may MU aura ka, it will be hard to hide. That is the case with her.

I watched a clip of Chelsea backstage where she was praying, and God answered her prayers! She won by her own merit, and destiny found its way to her. We don't know what's going to happen in MU, but I believe she will again be guided by God. Whatever the result, it is still God's decision, as He knows what is best for us, even if we are uncertain. Chelsea will perform well and walk with great power. Supporting someone who wants to dream is not difficult. She is our friend, family, and fellow Filipino, so let's embody the qualities we have as Filipinos, especially Bayanihan. This is the support she needs, and God will do the rest.

It feels warm and comforting when I listen to her voice. She is a queen inside and out. Her beauty grows as you get to listen to her speak. She is really calm and collected. Look at the way she finishes her words with a smile and laughter. Her parents really raised her well. She seems to have no excess baggage in her heart. I can't wait to see her compete in Mexico.

Hindi man sya na masasabi mo nanlalamon ng mic pero alam mo all her answers are real, genuine, coming from the heart. Hindi pa impress. She speaks Tagalog really well. Ofcourse since she’s a Bulakenya, it’s her mother tongue. But she’s also a graduate of DLSU so the English is giving. But seriously, y’all should keep in mind English is an official language so people shouldn’t be surprised that many Filipinos are proficient in English coz it’s our language too, especially within and nearby Metro Manila.

Sometimes kasi pag masyadong trained, may nawawalang authenticity factor. She reminds me of Miss International winner, Sireethorn Leermwat, pati the latest Miss Earth winner na si Drita Ziri, basta sweet lang, unrehearsed, hindi masyado inalter mukha or itsura nila para manalo ng pageant.
