Good video. I wish I could use that set up. Where I run my pigs most of the 40 acres is filtered light in the woods. I get about three weeks on a battery using the P 30 fence chargers.
The solar panel is only $65 on Amazon so not a huge investment and I bet it would charge more than you think eight be worth a try

What type of connection are you coming off the battery to the fence to make it hot?
I am connecting the fence charger to the battery with alligator clips and then from the charger to the fence with 14 gage fencing wire

Does it matter where you put the energizer? I had mine about 15ft from the end of the fence because where I place the end is next to our chicken coop.
no it does not matter where the energizer goes the electricity will flow all directions

cant you just run the fence with the panel and off the battery. is the fence charger actually necessary?
