You do an incredible job documenting life in obscure places in America and you do it with such charm because there's no pretentiousness about it at all. Nor do you look down upon these lesser known places. Your videos, whether intentional or not, have become a sort of living history.
❤I agree
this is so pure and so correct
The hardest working CZcamsr out there! Be safe Jacob. I enjoy all your videos!
If you’re in Casper before 2pm stop into Sherrie’s Place for breakfast/lunch and we’ll buy! LOVE your videos!!!
Couldn't thanks Jacob enough for showing us the beauty of America 😫😍 another day another adventure 🐻
Wyoming is definitely one of our most beautiful states! Our grandson lives out there and we love our visits. Have traveled much of the state!
I remember seeing the Jackalope for the first time in the early 90s on Americas funniest people, with host Dave Coulier
Cut... it... out.... :)
HUGE 👍 THUMBS UP on this wonderful day of filming! Loved the National Historic Trails Museum with wax figures and wagon crossing the river (simulator). Really creative & unique displays!
This was another great video, Jacob ❤️
I learn so much about America from you. Thank you
Wow super cool about Bill, Wyoming . It feels good to know that they require a good rest for their employees !
Great hotel for all to rest their heads and relax...thanks for sharing that info
Love your road trips. Thanks for sharing them, Jacob. Till the next one, take care my friend and as always safe travels.
Giant side salad! Love the buckboard crossing of the river.
The jack of all trades
Born and Raised in Wyoming Love this State Thanks Jacob
My husband and I walked around devils tower in the fog last spring, it was awesome
Thank you for taking us along with you! I get to travel to a new place through your videos! Safe travels Jacob!
Happy to see you didn't get dysentery on your Wagon Ride, CB! Thanks for the video!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you for taking us with you. You always teach us new things along the way . Be safe
I have to say it from time to time, I absolutely love those “still” takes of things and places either the ambient sound in the back. Never saw any other channel doing that. It invites us to some contemplation.
Jackalopes and railroad history what a great combo! I love the jackalope mascot dressed as a Harvey girl on the dining car that's so cute!
Ya know I thought you were going to say all the people that live in Bill Wyoming live in that one hotel. Where they could hold their public meetings. I'm just kidding around. I could just picture it though. Wow I find that is fascinating about the rail road has to stop and rest and eat at the diner. That is really so interesting. I just have to say I ALWAYS LEARN SOMETHING OF INTEREST FROM YOUR VIDEOS. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MY MORNING LEARNING SESSION.
This was a terrific adventure. Thanks.
You finally got a beautiful day!
The jackalope in the Harvey Girls waitress outfit is adorable ❤
I've never been to Wyoming before; it sounds like a loner's paradise. Lol Bill is fascinating considering how small the town is. The abandoned store and post office look really neat. : ) When I first started watching your channel a long time ago I thought Jackalopes were real because of the convincing taxidermy. The train museum was cool. I've always wanted to sleep on a train at night. I'm glad your hat got another pin. : D
Kudos to your CZcams Channel, Jacob! 👍👍👍👍👍
I live in Salt Lake City! You're here today that's awesome!
I ❤LOVE this episode starting in BILL, Wyoming w-the TraveLodge, the awesome 👏 Jackalope Junction & Douglas Train Museum - such funny comments. GREAT 👍 job TCB.
16:17 I love this place in Douglas, Wyoming! 🐇🦌 The Jackalope Train 🚂 Museum! The multitude of Jackalopes is fantastic! And as it should be! The Jackalope Field Guide book 📕looked awesome 👏 too. Thank you Jacob TCB!
Awesome video as always Jacob keep up the amazing work and be safe out there
Not every day you get to see inside a train pretty dang neat! Thank you Carpetbagger , congrats on your new pin. Very cool. Love when you invoke the EUM rule. Thanks
With all the crap on TV it's nice to c there's something worth watching. Thanks for ur hard work Jacob. Hope to meet u someday, I'm from Indiana.
I agree! He's wonderful. I'm in Michigan
23:07 I recognize those statues! They probably came from one of the now defunct Warner Bros Studio Stores that were in malls and airports across America.
Hello Carpetbagger! I thought jackalopes were real!!
I love trains and railroads. My Dad worked for the Ann Arbor RR in Owosso, Michigan
Oh that's so cool! My parents and I have rode on the Pier Markete 1225 train! I'm in Cadillac Michigan
Enjoyed riding along with you!
Clean your windows again! Safe trails!
Oddly enough my Father Ralph had a jackalope.
A great start to my birthday today. Great video
Happy Birthday 🎂
❤🎉😊happy birthday
These videos are great Jacob, love all the history and the sights are amazing thank you so much and safe travels 😊

Me too, I enjoy his videos ❤
Love Wyoming et al.
Wow never ever heard of, or seen deep fried green beans. that is so cool.
TY, so much. I've never been to Wyoming, but I think I'd like to go to Sanford's.
Great stuff!
You were close to my home town of Lusk, WY and even closer to Lance Creek where my dad was from.
If you come to Laramie, I can give you a tour of the Wyoming Territorial Prison.
Please Go to Cheyenne and go to the union pacific steam shop to see all the old steam trains they restore and then they have them do exhibition tours.
Hey Carpetbagger since your going through the western states you might want to keep an eye out for the Union Pacific's Big Boy Steam Locomotive. They started their summer tour not to long ago. You might run into it. The big boy is the largest steam locomotive in the world.
It is usually in Cheyenne :)
They really are real
I'm so glad I found your channel. You get to travel for me! I love your content and it's not only educational but you make it fun. Thanks Carpetbagger! I think I'm going to visit the Anikista place in the mountains. It looked so cool. For a Spooky episode you should come to Charlotte, NC and come to Scarowinds! Stay cool!
Good morning Jacob
Good afternoon Jacob 🤗. I hope that your day is going rather well. Just an FYI you’re in my part of the country when I first came to Wyoming This is the city that I first settled in Casper so I know exact where the places that you have been visiting to there’s a lot of history there and if you get a chance to stick around, you’ll be able to see all the attractions that Casper has to offer. Thanks for showing this, and sharing, in between time you take care and be safe.🫶🏻❤️🤠
Very interesting travel experience
Very cool and great
I remember the giant Bugs Bunny being at Six Flags Great America in Illinois! There was an area for kids, I remember running through a bunch of giant foam hanging carrots..
Good Morning Jacob 🙋🏽.
Eeeyyy I love jackalopes so much, ty for the video now i know where to get some good swag
I’ve got some State Fairs for Jacob to visit: Wisconsin State Fair, Iowa State Fair, Nebraska State Fair, The Big E in Massachusetts, Utah State Fair, and Oregon State Fair. Hope you have an awesome time at the California State Fair!
Really liked the vlog
Great video! I remember a giant blue jackalope at the entrance to the Douglas fairgrounds. But that was back in the late 80s.
Good to see you have mastered the DJI Osmo 3
Another great video! Thank you for showing us these amazing places.
Lived in Wyoming for many years. Some wonderful people...many not so wonderful. However, museums and wildlife never disappointed. Used to LOVE going to Sanfords for Speedgoat beer (10 Sleep brewery).
Just wanted to reach out from near Detroit, Michigan and let you know that I am signing up in your patreon if i can figure it out.. I started watching your videos about 2 years ago and recently have gone back in time and have been looking up your older videos ...I watch Adam and Tampa Jay and Justin Scarred and Faces of the Forgotten and Scott on tape and History Hunters but your videos bring me America and places I may never get to go in my lifetime ..I cried real tears when your Mississippi river videos ended .I have watched many do Rte 66 but not anyone else do the Big Old Man River ..I feel a special connection to you somehow ..old enough to be yours and Jenns mothers. My oldest daughter turned 34 on 7/11..and my youngest is 20 yrs old and still at home ..hoping we can get 1 more trip with him..he loves Pigeon Forge because we rent a cabin and enjoy all of the area plus we need to drive the scenic route thru Smokies this time. I am not healthy so i am really trying to keep it altogether in order to plan our trip . God bless you and Jenn and please know I always keep you in my prayers for safe travels !
Hello from a fellow Michiganader I'm in Cadillac
24:19
That is jaws ????
whats he doing there xD ??? wow thats amazing
Thank you
How funny, you where just around the corner from where I live in Casper. Use to live in Douglas and I also worked in Bill, driving a shuttle for the railroaders.
I live in Evanston wyoming right before you go in to Utah
Morning Jacob 🤓📸 going across Wyoming is great, I never been there but it must be flat land, lots of western cowboy movies been filmed in Wyoming. Thanks for sharing this.
Wyoming is far from flat 😂 The Rocky Mountains run right through the middle of it! Bill is in the plains area between the Rockies and the Black Hills.
Come through Virginia City nevada on your way back out
Thanks
That "mobile home" is actually the rural school house.
Too bad I didn't know you were here in Douglas. Would've loved to meet you. Thanks for sharing my hometown. 😊
I also grew up at Bill. My family had a ranch down that road the restaurant and hotel is on. I even went to school there as well until 1984.
😮that's really cool
Douglas is my hometown also! It is a pretty nice little town :)
Good Afternoon " YA ALL " Jacob the Carpetbagger..!!
A few North East transit creators got on a private car equipment move a few months back (they know a guy) and actually used the kitchen (bar water, guy couldn't get the hook-up to work for them). Justin of Well There's Your Problem Podcast thought he was going to die during the journey-but not because of cooking on a moving vehicle (it was hooked up to the Cardinal, which is heavily restricted due to the portion between Charlottesville, VA and Charleston, WV being poor quality and/or squished between a river and the mountains so its very windy so it can't go that fast anyway)
Jacob, did you see that Cheekwood Botanical Gardens in Nashville got Dambo trolls?
Have u ever been to the Yellowstone national park. Great place. in Wyoming
Thank you for doing all the traveling for me how do I get a press Penny I like to get one I have a disability that's why I watch you all the time
Well An Actual Railroad Mueseum?! I've Said It Once, I'll Say It Again, All ABOARD! The Carpetbagger Express! 🚂 ❤️🔥🛤 #CarpetbaggerExpress
Hi there Jacob I have to agree a very fun day. Your meal looked amazing. !! Hope you are all good . M XXXX
I really enjoyed this chatty video, CB. Neat trivia! I wonder, do jackalopes count as cryptids? I guess probably not.
yo i didn’t know you at the time but in the background you can see me at the library behind you and i saw this video and was like well i’ll watch it
in douglas
Hey Jacob enjoy your day and weekend!!
I think would make a great truck stop for long haulage drivers and would bring some financing to the little town ❤❤
That "mobile home" at Bill is actually the rural school!
Also, those benches with the jackalopes were originally made by Bill Weist. I grew up with his son, Garrett.
LaBonte is pronounced lah-bahn-tee :)
Ramos Cafe is stinking DELICIOUS!!! But, you looked inside the cafe, not inside the hotel where the jackalope would be.
You totally missed Ayers Natural Bridge! It was between Douglas and Glenrock. It is beautiful! The Plains in Douglas is also a sight to see!
NOT staying in the riverboat shaped hotel (showboat) is the best decision you have made 😂 That is territory for some illegal deals that go down! It is NOT a safe place to be! Oh, and my uncles totally did all of the electrical wiring on the trails center!
O m g that food looks so delicious
Please tell jenn ,Hello .Hope Jenn is doing well...❤
Jacob could you go to Panama city Florida I live near there
Are you going to be coming through Cody WY?
Casper was the big city.
Jacob, you could visit Santaland in upstate ny. ALSO, JACKALOPES WERE REAL, BUT THE HORNS WERE ACTUALLY OVER GROWN WARTS-caused by a virus that spread through their numbers.
The second least densely populated state is Wyoming with six people per square mile
Will you be driving on the Loneliest Road in America?
Visit Casper and all the Pronghorn.
The old sanfords downtown was so much cooler.
DO NOT STAY AT THE SHOWBOAT, popular with methy folks.
Those giant Looney Tunes look like they came from the old WB Studio Store decor.
Wyoming is the Volunteer State hence the tattoos on the cartoon rabbits
I thought Tennessee was the volunteer state 😺
@@silverghostcat1924 Oh, Oops! You’re right! I have no idea what that referencing in that case
@@nearandfarexplorers5125 well I guess it's possible there is more than one volunteer state. I used to live in TN so that's why I was confused 😸
That is my hometown! I do wonder why you would choose to stay in Bill, though?!?
Did the idea of the jackalope start on saturday night live back in the day?
It is big salad you would share with pals
🤩🐰
Did Jacob's old hat get too heavy with pins? Lol
Yes he talked about that in a video that he needed to change hats because it was too heavy
