  • The Dishwasher in video is a Körting KS61110W, but basic concept of fixing an overflow problem in a dishwasher is same for other brands and models. If you turn on the machine and it's beeping or displaying an error and the drain pump is running all the time, that means the machine is detecting the overflow. This video shows you how to remove the spilled water that's in the base of the machine and shows you where the overflow switch is and how it works.

    My dishwasher was stuck on pump 'cycle'. So I watched your video then emptied the tray at the bottom and cleaned the float and switch. Checked the switch with a multi meter (it was working). Then put it all back together and the problem was sorted and my dishwasher now works. Thank you very much.

      It lifts the machine up so it's tilted, then water, thanks to gravity, spills over the edge of the base pan and onto the floor.

    • @beardsntools
      @beardsntools  Před 2 měsíci

      It's probably not sealing somewhere, I had tiny holes at the drain too, I have discovered these later. it can can also be from a hose since there are many there.

    Hey buddy do you know the dish washer is supposed to go in the kitchen not the bathroom.

    • @beardsntools
      @beardsntools  Před rokem +1

      The reason why it is in the bathroom is because I am renovating the kitchen. Even if I didn't I would at least have to do some plumbing first, as there is currently no tap to plug a dishwasher to the water supply.

    can it stay that way?
    not to change others

      not sure what you mean... if it can stay functioning after you do the first step?
      Well, if you remove water from the base of the machine and then it works, it should continue working as long as no more water is added.
      My dishwasher had a very small hole in the tub, water slowly leaked during use and it would eventually fill up the base and trigger the overflow protection.
