Awesome Video! You taught me a lot! Thankfully, I think I can return the favor or maybe this will help someone else too! Don’t have the time stamp, but what you are referring too sounds to me like activating the service wiper mode without the “infotainment system (that’s what Audi refers to their entertainment system as in the manuals)” for some models, my 2018 A4 S-line has it, and I’d be willing to bet most modern Audi’s have this feature as well! You must turn the ignition for the vehicle off and then press down the wiper controls (for me at least, some models may vary, I can’t read all your manuals 😂) and it will activate service mode. Then, when you are ready to use them again. Simply turn the ignition on and hold the wiper controls in the down position (position may vary per vehicle as stated above) and the wipers will reset to normal position. If the car moves faster than 8 MPH (12~13 km for our European brothers), the wipers will lower automatically as well. Hope this helps someone! I hope everyone has a great rest of the year! ❤
Love the Bosch wipers the no spring type those are the best wipers they don’t squeak or streak.. I’ll admit it took me awhile to figure out how they are installed.. I never knew about the hood position switch and service mode.. thanks for that info.. a seemingly simple thing as putting new wipers on isn’t an easy as you think.. great how to video 👍🏻
By doing a little competitive shopping I found an on-line source for the factory wiper blades about 35% cheaper than the local dealer 4 miles away. I did exactly the same thing with the same dealer when I took off the front plate frame and put on the much sleeker filler panel for my A5 . . .
That was a BIG HELP!!! Thank you. I bought 20" and 24" DURALAST kits for 2019 Audi A4 and basically same installation as your vid. Duralast instructions are horrible, and I had to return 2 blades due to missing adapter parts. Duralast multiple adapters do NOT come in a separate sealed plastic bag like your Bosch - they are just thrown in loose. So, if a blade was returned and you grab one off the rack you would never know if a part was missing.
Ty for the videos, im usually looking at your channel for research on the 2.0T motors, ( I brought my 2013 Q5 specifically for the 3.0T). Today I was having trouble taking off the original adapter on the aftermarket wiper. You said just take it off and I was scared to brake something, you showed there's not much to brake and follow the arrow lol. Thanks again
Thank you so much !you save me almost 110 dollars ,here in Germany they charge that much to change all of them including the one in the back.thumbs up!
I have the same blades, the old ones you took off where aftermarket as well. The OE Audi's will have a the proper end caps and look much better. The ones Bosch blades are fine but just don't look as proper and kinda aggravate me whenever I look at them on my car. :( Guess I'll have to shell out. On a side note I did the same thing with the directions and they wasted so much plastic on those clips that I threw away. Great job J man!
Thank you! I was about to return the Bosch wiper blades as I could not for the life of me figure out how to slide them down. Missed the part about lining up the grooves!
Great video, exactly what I needed for these Bosch blades for my Audi. What a confusing mess and I was ready to return them until I found your video. Thanks again. Subscribed!
Totally could not have installed these without this video. Instructions are very lacking. Was afraid to just try and rip the clip off but that's the way you do it! And who the hell would have thought that you had to slide it in from the bottom instead of push it in the way the old blades came out? German engineering? I don't think so. Chinese maybe.
Cheers done them nice and easy now. I have exact same radio system in my car anybody know if you can play music through blue tooth on it?? I can use phone but not play music??
I have the same car 2011 Audi A4 and there’re is light on the dashboard that says “oil level sensor defective” and I had changed both oil pressure sensors and try to clear the fault but the light always comes back, do you have any idea what could it be?
This is not working for my 2010 A4. I cannot change the wipers. the clips dont fit. im seeing the style arm i have on my car and it says what clip but it is not the right kind. the front part is too big. I have Boesch 24 and 20 oem version. the dude at auto zone looked em up on the computer and grabbed em for me. i cant for the life of me change them. is it the year or something. I bought the car a month ago. I love it. But the wipers suck ass and when it rains i legit cannot see they are that bad. and i cant get them changed. anyone have anything they can tell me that i may be missing with an A4 2010 Premium Plus Quattro 2.0. let me know. Thanks.

I was nearly ready to sell my car after trying to install some wiper blades. Huge help at 6:18 to show how it needed to happen. Thanks, bud.

Love when a video instructs exactly how to do and save me so much time. Awesome, thanks !

I was like you, tossed the instructions aside lol. Thank you for the help. Easy once the arrow is matched
Yeah I just cracked my windshield not being careful. Heed his advice people.

Love the spontaneous how-to videos!
Big props to you. Was about to toss the Bosch blades out of frustration. Thanks!
Thanks for posting this... Just changed my wiper blades.. Super helpful!

....and there I am, trying to push it in like for other cars getting frustrated.
Thanks man.
Valuable little details. Very good. Thanks again friend.
Great video. Thank you for the info!
After trying to do this to my GF’s A4, I am 100 percent convinced german engineers hate their consumers.
Thank you, sir! Most appreciated!
Finally! None of the other vids I watched showed how to get that goddamned cover off the new blade.Thank you! That instruction sheet just sucks.
The important part is knowing those clips will actually come off. Lol
The more you know. I love showing this stuff off at an Indy shop 😂

What about the rear blades?
Good advice man!... Thank you so much!
Happy New year all! 💚🙏🍀

Do you have a video on the epc light with the ignition on but car not running and how to fix it??? 2012 Audi a4
Perfect instructions for my A4. Thanks!
Love this video
Thanks man 💯
I wonder what vehicle(s) use that "bulky" design / adapter... man that looks awful. With the correct adapter, those wipers are sleek!
Thank you 🙏
Thanks mate
Thanks!
What was it you removed from the wiper? Something that came with the replacement?
Thank you for the video. It was helpful.
bosch cost $70 from autozone, that will get u the good ones, envision, for 65 u get evolutions, mind as well use the better model
Very useful presentarion
good looking out, thanks so much
Thanks for the video!

Which model of Bosch are these wipers?
Mejor explicado, imporsible!! Gracias
Turning On the ignition then turn Off , and then pulsing the wiper handle does the same, for service position. No?
Never tried it but I don’t ever do service position I just replace them at the bottom
Very helpful
Where are u located in nap?

The level sender in the bottom of the pan is what’s the fault sounds like, not the pressure sensors.
@@NaptownTuner I scanned it and the fault code: P019800 but I would definitely check on the one you said, thank you

yt is deleting my comments :(
That happens to me a lot when I talk about certain things on other channels. I miss CZcams before the censorship.
@@NaptownTuner Well, there is a new platform coming where there will be free speech. Cant wait, also there is odysee and bitchute like yt right now.
Thanks man 💯
