Taunting is not respectful. Man's also purposefully catches hits from opponents to belittle them. That's a viable psychological attack, but that's not respect, imo.

Time 4:38 is an underrated moment. Leg trapped and opponent goes to sweep the other leg. Man jumps up perfect timing to dodge the leg sweep to avoid the takedown. Thats great.

Bruh, i mean while there is always a chance he will somehow not develop it thru some freakish genetic gifts the probability is extremely likely that he will. We have seen time and time again that parkinsons sadly haunts fighting sports like the ghost of xmas past, its not an opinion...its an objective reality of the sport. And his whole game plan is to be willing to trade blows for the sake of seeing who comes out on top. Ofc we dont wish it on him, in fact i pray it never happens, but mathematically speaking opening up yur head to punishment as a means of intimidation is the speedrunners guide to the trembles

Inspiring, the amount of confidence this guy has not only within but also in his training and hardwork makes him capable of doing this.
Hard work and possibly brain damage from eating all of those strikes but either way you gotta respect it.
I don't know if people here realized but most of the hits he took he actually didn't. This guy has incredible skill. He basically cushions the incoming punches by either moving his head away from the punch or sometimes even into the punch to lessen the impact by making the punch make him hit earlier and at less than the maximum force. You can slow down the video and watch this at a couple of moments. This takes incredbile skill, really. Hats off to this guy.

"Ultra instinct" is basically the body fighting on it's own (without consiousness). But remember this is real life, not anime.

Its very discouraging when your strikes dont seem to inflict damages to your opponent. That's why most fighters hesitated and played on a defensive mode, trying to figure it out what the hell is going on here.
Blocking punches with your face isn't a long term strategy I would build a career around. Whether by design or flaw his defense is terrible and one good shot from one good fighter could end his career. Maybe even his life.

@@elijaharvinger1178 his defense is on point. All the shots you see when he's showboating he allowed to land, but pay attention if/when he enters the pocket, you don't win 250+ fights without knowing how to avoid getting punched.
He also punched himself after getting punched to add more power😂

Amazing fighter
My take on Rodtang and his frustration after watching a lot of his matches is that you have to understand he is the champion now. Most challengers are there to take his title off him and therefore needs to be the aggressor. Most champs fight defensive as they are there to defend the title. But in Rodtang's case the fact that he has to be the one chasing and the aggressor to get some form of action from these would be title challengers is frustrating. I mean think about it. They are challenging his title but they are the ones running from min one, like it doesn't look good as a challenger. Just goes to say how afriad all these fighters are of Rodtang.
That’s dudes definitely gonna have cte only in his early 20’s and doesn’t worry about protecting himself.
I hope he's some sort of mutant and doesn't suffer long term effects but...yeah... unless he's built REALLY different I hate to think what the repercussions down the line will be.
