And this is why no one outside Ethiopia knows wtf to do with regards to Ethiopia, they just argue, all the time. I've listened to and watched *countless* discussions about Ethiopia for years usually from those amongst the different main Ethiopian communities...and they usually end up this way. No meeting in the middle, maintaining completely opposite positions and fighting over claims made by one side or the other, endlessly. It's some kind of miracle Ethiopia even exists at all. People *do* need to sit down and talk together, but I'm fairly sure it will just be like this, constantly. No compromise, no meeting in the middle, nothing.

Fast forward to today do you really think Uhuru Kenyatta wants to see a strong somalia or Abiy ahmed ? Greater somalia is the reality for somalis the #1 foreign policy. Every single powerful government in somalia has expressed this openly. Your leaders understand this which is why they work to not only destabilize somalia but for there to always be a weak government. As for the Arabs , the turkish foreign minister has publicly disclosed that the UAE gulf Arabs are funding al shabaab, that's Turkey confirming what wikileaks let us know years ago. Keep in mind that the gulf Arabs get all of their weapons from mostly the United States and other western nations. All this makes me very happy of most bad news in Ethiopia and Kenya 🤗.

Everyone should know TPLF jumped ship because the easy gains on Chinese debt were already achieved, and repayment can only happen if Ethiopia grows exponentially from this point. How you know this, is that despite having world leading gdp growth rates, Ethiopia still has the lowest per capita gdp numbers in the poorest part of the poorest continent - subsaharan Africa.
Not to mention, most of the debt was self serving TPLF perogatives, if not outright thievery.

Meaza Gidey, I have seen a lot of activists working in the world however you don't seem to have activism in you except the hatred of the entire Ethiopian people. I'm not here to take biased sides on different political ideologies however you seem to drop out the fact that the tplf regime in Ethiopia massacred a lot of people tortured a lot of people in different locations of Ethiopia. Of course you can back up anything with an evidence and we can also back up with an evidence however the question is why all the hate? The TPL of regime seems to have noticed the faults that it had created for the past 27 years. Namin minimum as a man overseeing the TV station Ethsat has been campaigning against Tigrayans for many years. His cronies in the station have been broadcasting the following which have been on record:
1. That Tigrayans are minority, only 5% and the 95% of Ethiopia can defeat them easily and eliminate them easily
2. That they have spoken of "to kill the fish one needs to drain the body of water off." That is a declaration of genocide on the people of Tigray which has been on going since the last 6 months
3. That his tv station has been openly calling for the Etritrea regime to invade from the north to sandwich Tigray to submission which they have been carrying out since the last 6 months. In fact many other combatants like Amhara militia, Somalian army and UAE Drones have been at war with Tigray militia since the war begun
4. That earlier on, years before the war started Naamin's tv station has been making claims that Isaias is a real friend of Ethiopia and that he is more concerned about Ethiopia than leaders of the TPLF even though the leaders of TPLF died defending the country and worked hard to prosper the ever poorest country for 27 years
5. That the TV station had been campagning against building of the hydro power dam on the Nile claiming that the TPLF has been building it to boost its political position
6. In latter days individuals reflecting the views this tv station have been openly saying that it does not matter if up to a million Tigrayans die in the war, while others say it is alright to starve them. Starvation, extrajudicial killings across the population, gang rape of women and girls as well as destruction of livelihoods have been on going since Abiy Ahmed declared the war on Tigrayans. The people are now on the verge of famine and death outreached with urgent food aid immediately.
Ma'aza has wonderfully and truthfully put across the plight of the Tigrayan people and appealed to the world community to safe lives of Tigrayans now and urgently. We owe her a lot for being the true voice of the voiceless Tigray population who are not allowed to live in peace and to exercise their right to self determination. That is to say to elect their leaders as they did last August which triggered the PP leadership to invade Tigray to cause mayhem and pillage.

Meaza told numerous lies and misrepresentations that are too many to list. But for the sake of sparing readers from weariness, I will try to point out only the glaring ones:
1) Ethiopia is not a failed state as Meaza claimed. That only exists in her wishful thinking.
The Ethiopian government, led by Mr. Abiy has crushed a coordinated attack that was started by the TPLF with a diabolic raid and massacre of sleeping soldiers in the region of Tigray followed by genocidal and brutal slaughter of thousands of ethnic Amharas in the city of Maykadra in the region of Wolkayit & Tegede, which was by force taken over and included into the region of Tigray in the 1980s but protested by the locals ever since.
The coordinated attack, which was intended to create havoc throughout Ethiopia included not only extreme elements that were financed by the TPLF and were engaged in terrorist activities, (wantonly killing civilians, mainly of ethnic Amharas). It also included neighboring Sudan, which, according to their plan is supposed to take advantage of the challenges Ethiopia has to tackle under the circumstances and take a land-mass that is contested between the two countries.
Despite the arduous hardships, the Ethiopian National Defense Forces have demonstrated their formidable capabilities to handle the many pronged challenges; and for all practical purposes have either eliminated the enemy, or brought situations to manageable control in many of the trouble spots.
2) The spokeswoman for the terrorist group (TPLF) also claimed that ESAT (a public financed News Media) called for the extinction of all Tigreans.
THIS IS A BLATANT LIE!
This is an attempt to cover their own heinous CRIMES against the Ethiopian people, including the Tigreans. BBC reported yesterday, the remnant of vanishing TPLF forces killed as many as 20 civilians in the Tembien region, including 3 clergymen because they asked the terrorists to stop their renegade activities and seek peace with the government.
The facts are: this is nothing new for the TPLF.
Throughout its existence, the TPLF has killed more Tigreans than any of its adversaries, including the regime of Mengistu Hailemariam, or the Eritreans during the 1998-2001 border conflict.
THIS IS THE UNEQUIVOCAL FACT YOU CAN TAKE TO THE BANK.
In their rebel years, Meles and Sibhat (Woldesilassie) Nega have killed many of their perceived enemies or adversaries in the rebel group either by throwing them into “bado-sidist” (the gallows) or, by eliminating them in a clandestine style. A 1990s report indicated as many as 15,000 demobilized Tigrean “tegadelti” (former rebel soldiers) were taken to Hurso Military camp never to be seen again. Their crime was protesting the demobilization.
THE TPLF IS ENEMY #1 OF THE “TEGARU” (the TIGREAN PEOPLE).
As for labeling the TPLF as a terrorist organization, the Ethiopian Parliament is not the first to do that. The first one to do that was none other than the US National Security Agency. After the US Homeland Security Agency was created, here is what it says about the TPLF:
“The TPLF qualifies as a Tier III terrorist organization under INA section 212(a)(3)(B)(vi)(III) on the basis of its violent activities before it became part of the ruling coalition and the government of Ethiopia in May 1991.”
So, to cover its ugly history and its current terrorist activities, the spokeswoman for the terrorist TPLF group cries out foul for comments made by a guest of ESAT on a live broadcast some 7-8 years ago, for which ESAT gave clarification, stating the view was the guest-speaker’s; and not endorsed in any shape or form by ESAT. Furthermore, demonstrating its ethical values, ESAT quickly took measures to take down the dissemination of the clip from CZcams.
THESE ARE THE FACTS. Meaza’s claims are nothing but pure “дис-информация” (dis-information, fake-news.)
