I'm 49 & was never taught money management skills. Now that my sons are adults, I don't have all the responsibilities I used to have. I'm so determined to learn. Currently, my goal is to save $1K in 5 months which is $200 per month. I've obtained a 2nd job to make it happen.
You can do it!

10k Iâm 3 months I already have 2k saved ! I will reach this goal !
Your doing better than me. I've saved $7,800.00 in a year. Paying $500.00 a month and sometime more like on my Birthday. At the 3rd of the month, I will be able to add $500.00 into my saving and that will Make $8,300.00. I'm striving to make it to $10,000.00 and it will all be in 100 dollar bills and I also have bill straps to put on it. Even after the $10,000 is achieved, I will continue to save money. I wish I would be able to buy a Four Door Jeep with big tars, but that's a far reaching long term goal!
My goal this year is to be able to save 200k but bills won't let me. Nevertheless, I'm currently saving 6k every week.
I don't even earn 6k in 2months.
đ„Čđ„Čđ„Čđ
@@waynedrury2372 it doesn't matter how small you earn but how smart you utilise it. 6k I make every week is not from my work salary but from my invstments in financial market which is just a side hustle.
The best way to maintain and create wealth is to invest. It has always worked for me.
The rich are the living testimonies.
@@vivianpaul7759 I believe you 100%. Savings doesn't bring financial freedom but a good investment does. But i am yet to make profitable investments due to uncertainties in my finances and management.
We are tackling our last two debts before moving to aggressively saving. We paid off just under $15,000 since the start of year and will be sending our final payment to our only credit card this week then moving to our personal loan which at $27,000 should be taken care of in 6 months or less. It is our big goal for the year and am really happy with the focus and progress so far.
This is amazing progress!!!
This is really helping me. This is really kind of you taking time out to tell us how you did this.
Congrats thatâs awesome! We just became debt free so now weâre working on building up our emergency fund.
Congrats! It's so nice to actually keep your money!
Wow Dyana, thatâs great! đđ» Great tips! Thank you for sharing! â€ïž

Yes I love this advice!đ Im still going strong on the savings journey. Thanks so much Dyana, I love your videos!đ
This is both helpful and actionable. Perfect timing. Thank you!
I am close to my 6 month emergency fund (about 80% there), I want to reduce my HELOC balance by 10% by end of 2022, start saving for a down payment, and invest more! Those are my current goals.
this is amazing! my goal is to save around 10-20k by the middle/end of next year and this has helped me so far
I took some good notes, itâs simple but very effective thank you for the tips!
You are so right itâs best to make a plan and stick to it

Aww yay welcome!
Paying off these student loans is my main financial goal right now.
You got this!! I paid off $70,000 in student loan debt in 15 months. It sucked along the way but was well worth it in the long run.
You got this !!!!
@@josephinebournes8212 we have to assume you make over 100k a year ......
I have learnt to save more and create an extra income stream! Thatâs been very useful this period.
Yeah I have made a research about that. Anyone that doesnât get an extra income is really making a big financial mistake.
Iâm working on a 5-6k savings goal for a used car purchase (taxes insurance etc) Iâm a little over 2.5k. It started as a 5k in a 100 days challenge but realized I may need a little more for good car. Iâm sticking to my budget and having low spend months. This is a magic month for me so hopefully I can put a big dent in this month
Wishing you the best of luck!
Iâm watching these money saving

Mannn im seeing all the weekly savings goals etc but i get paid biweekly so how do we do this for those of use who are paid like that?
Hi I've been watching all of your videos. I have my taxes coming and I was wondering how you distribute your earnings to your emergency fund and then your debts? Should I just build the emergency fund first or do both?
I would say to secure your EF and then your debt.
Awesome and thanks!
Most people don't make $8000 dollars in 3 months.
Sidenote your skin is amazing !
Thank you! One day I'll film a skincare routine!
Goals is hit 8k by July 8th my bday ! 2 weeks Iâll be debt free. I currently have around 2.5k saved for emergency
Nice! Claim it, youâll hit that goal!
Iâm going all in; if I have to drink water from a canal and forget to pay protein bars at the market, I will
Thank you for sharing! I think weâve seen these tips. This is good advice but when people post videos like this and say âsee how I did itâ to me that sounds like expounding on specific/personal examples that you implemented. You did that in some of the examples but not all.
Most times this will be a new video for my viewers. Some content will be basic and some will be in-depth. Seems like youâre one who would be on the advanced side so your knowledge would be past this info if that makes sense! Still, these are the exact steps I took however and always take. Theyâre just basic in nature!
But I thank you for this feedback and will be sure to incorporate it going forward!!â€ïž
Iâm in my debt free journey
You are smart boođżmy goal is to pay 8k by dec. This is 1/2 of my car financing
Let's get it!đ„
what do you do? Im very curiousđ
I am trying to purchase a house and wanted a down payment of at least 80,000. I'm overly stressed. I just bought a car ( neccesity) and having really bad buyers remorse. I felt like I got duped an extra $2,000. I'm also going back to school and had to take out student loans. I'm in my late 30s and feel like I'm acquiring more debts now than I ever did. I'm just overwhelmed!! Thanks for the video.
If you focus on putting 20% down so you donât have to pay PMI (private mortgage insurance) you should be ok. đđ»
I have around 309$ in my account and my taxes just hit that will be in my savings
When people say they are debt free do they mean mortgage free also .. because that is a huge achievement
@L S the majority of the time people mean they are debt free from credit cards, or student loans or private loans. But I hear ya - completely debt free including mortgage is not something people say unless itâs true lol cuz it is a major accomplishment
I'm waiting for wanted to save for my self first home
I tought you will explain how to save $ on envelope
So inspirational
If only I had not been unemployed for over and year and have no income coming in at all.
Lol! My time to shine đ€Łđ with an extra $100 dollars
I donât even make 8000 in 3 month let alone save 8000 in 3 months
Early đđđ
This youtube feature of $8,000 in 3 months via the Dyanna Marie channel is very helpful and self determination boosting, the reminder to be very urgent with the goal timeline wise is especially the reminder I am glad to have heard especially because of my intent to be wise and resourceful with both current and upcoming money blessings coming my way.
I get paid biweekly it will take me an whole year to save 8k
You Save a lot of money, then what do you do?
You move on to your next goal, whatever that may be. I saved this money as my emergency fund so that I could go after my next goal with a safety net. This way if something, like a car repair, popped up I would have the funds to cover it without taking from the goal I was working towards.
How can you save 8000 if your not making it in 3 month
Hey, so Iâve always leveraged extra money. I built the discipline I needed throughout a 4 year long debt free journey. So, now that Iâm out of debt my incentive and tax refund was able to be put into savings. My budget is stable so I donât need to use those funds for expenses, etc.
It was broken down more clearly the last bit of the video.
Me who makes just over $1000/mo. "Yeah this is doable let's go" haha đđ€Ł
Bro watch video at different speed.
I mean to say at 1:50

Very cute and sweet channel
Am I the only one who has a REALLLLLY hard time with self control on saving? It frustrates me.
No in fact Iâd say youâre normal. We all do. I encourage you to do some self exploration to discover the root cause. What are your triggers, beliefs on saving, etc
@@DyanaMariie ok yeah I was thinking the same last night
I make 1800+ every 2 weeks but I suck at saving money , also Iâm the only guy here lmao
Lol, there are others Iâm sure! And you donât suckâŠyou just have to unlearn habits and beliefs youâve always had!
I don't know who needs to hear this but stop saving all your money. Venture into Investing some, if you really want financial freedom.
Investing today is priceless because tomorrow isn't promised. Trading bitcoin, gold, silver can save you from a lot.
Beautifully said,I tell this to my folks everyday.its good to save money but most people don't understand how the market moves and tend to mislead in facts like this and always depend on money in the bank.
Great facts đ
@@bandmankevo7697 I understand the Facts that tomorrow isn't promised to anyone, but Investing today is a hard thing to do because i have no idea of how and where to invest in these?
True but people still need liquid cash to easily access in case of emergencies. Otherwise...they'll be in debt.
I donât even make $8000 in 3 months
Me neither!! And I wouldn't have been able to get to this amount without the extra funds I received in the beginning of the year!
Bills bills bills no way outđ
Donât speak that on your life !
@@DyanaMariie thanks sis. â€đ·but its the reality right now though
@@SPrincessbeneficialknowledge your reality is a temporary circumstance. A temporary stage you are passing through. When you speak that it makes it seem permanent. I know you are capable of achieving higher!!
