You’re right about guys having insecurities about the women being in their flights and Air Force in general. I was a guy in an integrated flight and some of us talked down about the women in our flight especially compared to the flights that were all male. We had women who outperformed the men in PT and in drill. The two women were better element leaders than the guys IMO..So ladies go be great!

Birth control never stopped my periods I got off it and never went back to it I take herbs now and my periods are shorter and lighter
Oh okay!! Well birth control works for me to get rid of periods so just stating my own personal experience and opinions:)) just do what works for you.

Yes you will get the chance to write letters and send them out every week. And you will also get a few 5-10 min phone calls.

Everyone who takes birth control doesn't stop having periods. It depends on persons body.

Question. What’s the quickest you can ship out to bmt?
The quickest is within the same week!! But it all depends. You can get the best answer to this question from your local Airforce recruiter.

Do we have to pack travel size for skin care ?
Yes if you are traveling on a aircraft! But no if you are driving there.
How are we able to bring skincare in our luggage if the carryon bags on flight doesn’t allow more than an ounce of liquid 😞 ?Any advice

I’m pretty sure you can! That’s like a pad right? But I would ask your local recruiter to be sure.
Hi what birth control would you recommend to stop period during BMT?
I would recommend depo shot but it’s up to your preference I think depo is best because you won’t have to remember taking any pills or anything while in training :)) but talk to your local doctor or physician assistant about the best options for you!
Definitely an IUD. They last for 3-10 years, depending on which one you get. Personally, I had a good experience using Mirena IUD.
Can you wear knotless braids during basic training?
Yes you can lol just have to always wear them in a bun to the back while in uniform.
Do you need to score a specific score on the ASVAB to get into the Air Force?
No the asvab score is based on what job you can get!! 💕
Is there meds you get to take for cramps or headaces?
At first no in order to get meds for cramps you would need to get prescribed medications so like IBUPROFEN from the hospital on base and then that’s the only way you would be able to take them. So you would need to reach out to your MTI and asked them if you could take time out of training to do that.
Hi, I hope this isn’t too weird of a question I know you have 2 minutes to shower but is there a certain way to wash in BMT?
You have more than 2 mins to shower you get 15-20 mins to shower lol
Was there anyone from your flight that got recycled?
Yes!! There was people that got recycled and people that got recycled into our flight as well!!
what about my hair? Should I just go free & be natural
I would go in with box braids if I could do it all over again! That’s one thing I should’ve done. Because you won’t have much time to do your natural hair :))

how long do we have to take showers?
It depends on your Sergeant and how well your flight works with each other. Our flight was allotted 15 mins to shower!
Hey can you do multiple job in the air force
You will have your primary job called your Air Force Specialty Code. You can have an “additional duty” like a credit card purchase person….etc.
Hi and no you cannot have multiple jobs!! Whatever job you signed on your contract that is your job :))

Yes you do for the first couple of weeks but you will get the opportunity to buy some at the bx(store on base)!!

For me the yelling wasn’t too bad I’m use to that type of stuff I grew up in a household with a bunch of yelling so it didn’t affect me. But it got annoying at times for sure. And honestly my personal opinion the gas chamber wasn’t that bad at all like you just have to make sure you are the 1st or 2nd person to go in. You’ll barely exhale the gas. :)) but thank you glad you enjoyed.
how long do you have to be inside the gas chamber? and like stupid question lol but whenever you have to use the bathroom do they give you a certain time or how does that work? i mean of course you wont be half an hour in there but yk what i mean lmao
and idk if im wrong but i saw another guy on a video saying that the job thing after bmt is like random, kinda like you give them a list of which ones youd like and then either they assign you one or you go to a completely different one?? i hope not tbh but idk, sorry for asking many questions lmao
