    It’s amazing how smooth the top looks after all the steps. Great look! I miss your shopping, clothing restyles (sewing) videos. I learned a lot of sewing methods from you.

      Thanks Rita :) I really appreciate that. I'm so sorry I haven't been able to squeeze in the time to do more sewing but I'm constantly thinking about ideas and hoping to get some time freed up to do some sewing. Thanks for watching and being so supportive....Love and Hugs :)

      It took 4 days total, but 3 days were doing the patina and top coat process because I'd step away for several hours between each step to allow for dry time. If I focused and just worked on this piece by itself I could have finished it in 2 days. Thanks for watching ....HUGS :)

    Amy, you have really found your talent, beautiful!!! Hey, I miss your life vlogs, maybe you could combine the two. How's your weather, we had tornado warnings yesterday here in West Tennessee. Judy

    • @AjsVintageDesigns
      @AjsVintageDesigns Před 5 lety +1

      Thank you Judy :) If there is still interest in my life vlogs, I'd be happy to start doing them again. After I had a close call with a stranger sitting up on campus waiting for my son to get out of class (he graduated now.... so I'm not sitting up on campus all day anymore) I had stopped doing vlogs in my car for safety reasons that last year of school. I use to sit in a parking lot to do most of the vlogs or a baseball park.... just wasn't safe to sitting in a parking lot. I'll try doing a few again and see if there is still interest in it :) Luv ya girl... you were one of my first subscribers from way back in the day and I really appreciate your support as always....HUGS :)

      Coffee Bean is dark brown, my studio lighting casts a little bit of a hue to it because the light ring throws a little yellow. The clear coats got on white and turn clear as it dries. Also, everyone's computers project light a little differently. You can adjust the music by using the volume button on your viewing device. Since I'm not talking you don't need to have your volume set so high. Thanks for watching .... HUGS :)

      There are so many steps that I just let the camera run and record the whole thing so it wouldn't be such a long video. My son had college friends in town for a week and their game room is right above my garage so it was hard to record with sound over all their game playing and music. It was too frustrating and as you can see by my clothing changes... this process takes a lot of time to do. I did this over 3 days. I needed to finish this piece up, so this was the only way I could record it so I could share the process and get it done on time. :)
