- This video shows the basic checking of a single speed wiper motor and mechanism in a Classic Mini, assuming there is no other electrical failure in the car.
Naturally, in such an old car wiper speed will be a bit higher on a wet windshield. I have also noticed that even a fully charged battery or a running engine makes blades run a bit faster.
I was at the point where my wiper blades got stuck in all conditions so refurbishment was mandatory.

Creo que te sale mas a cuenta colocar otro nuevo; Se que los hay con doble velocidad de barrido porque al menos en los ultimos Rover lo llevaban de ese tipo, seguramente incluso vayan mas fiables y mas rapidos aunque de electromecanica no entiendo demasiado pero supongo que siendo igual carroceria son intercambiables y seria un plug and play
Siempre que pueda reparar algo prefiero mantener lo original. Además el parabrisas del Mini al ser tan vertical no necesita mucha velocidad en las escobillas porque la mitad cae solo 😁 no es como los coches modernos que tienen el parabrisas justo en el ángulo en el que les cae el agua con la velocidad del coche...
¿Dónde encuentras escobillas para esto si hace falta? ¿Existen todavía??
Sin ningun problema, ademas son las mismas en los Femsa y Lucas ingleses.
