Does primary prevention class as primary sector care? X
Primary prevention aims to prevent disease or injury before it occurs, e.g. altering unhealthy behaviours that can lead to disease. Secondary prevention is reducing impact of disease. Hope that helps.
@@carolforde-johnston it does thank you, so really you could receive secondary prevention at primary sector services e.g insulin shots at GP? I appreciate your help and your videos!
@@Charthe1st Yes secondary prevention could include daily aspirin to prevent further stroke or heart disease so yes this would work to stabilise diabetes and prevent complications.
