Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia: Hyatt Centric King Suite Tour

Designed by world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma, this hotel incorporates the beauty of the Borneo forest with elements such as bamboo, water features and seashells in its architecture. We stayed in the King Suite, and could not have been more delighted with the spaciousness of the suite and the minimalist interior aesthetic. This pretty sizable suite sits at 97 square meters (~1050 square feet). The standard suites are located from levels 5-11, with their premium suites located from levels 12+. Our suite was located on the 7th floor, and came with a massive dining and living area, a separate powder room, walk-in wardrobe, a soaking tub and separate shower, as well as a huge private balcony that spans across the length of the living area.
