I’m an astrophotographer. I use Sony 14 1.8 GM a lot for both milky way and video work. It’s an awesome lens. I used to own Sony 20 1.8 G but I don’t like that focal length and I sold it. Then I bought Sigma 28 1.4 ART and couldn’t be happier. The 28 1.4 is just perfect neither too wide nor too narrow and distortion is low (Sony 24 1.4 GM has too much distortion for my taste). So I can use 28 1.4 for pretty much everything including indoor portrait. I hope I have a chance to shoot aurora one day. Thx for your knowledge.
Fantastic video, I've been using mostly my Viltrox 16mm f/1.8 for northern lights, I prefer it to the 14mm, there is almost no distortion with this lens and it's easier to compose than with 20mm as it's difficult to predict where the lights will go in timelapses! - I never thought about using anything narrower than 20mm, I suspect it will be difficult for timelapses?

English is sadly not my native language, and even that my English is not the best I guess that the the Swedish for most of the people that have English as a native English is even worse =) But I know, I have a lot of improvement to do
