Damn! So I’m honestly not a fan of how Weped scooters look but the large tires are super smart. That’s the next evolution. It’s way safer and gives you great balance. I like that the front light is huge. Scooters now are like phones, you buy the newest one thinking holt crap this is so dope then a new one that’s even better comes out months/year later lol
I know this is an unpopular opinion but if you want large tyres you should just get an electric bike/motorbike. This thing is totally impractical as a scooter, which is supposed to be compact, nimble, foldable, portable. If it's not all those things what's the point? I'd much rather have something like my Victor, which is 32kg, just over 1.1m long, can one-hand carry it up and down a flight of stairs, park under my desk at work, go 50mph. This thing ticks only the speed box out of those requirements. It'a way bigger than the Dualtron X2, which I would say is kinda too big already. I guess you could just put a seat on this one like people do on the X2...
@@JamesFaction Totally get your point and I would agree with you, but in my case, I legit don’t care about portability or weight. Luckily I can just easily walk it into my garage or a side door at my house into my home in Winter. I’ll rarely ever need to fold it and almost never really lift it.
I'm so impressed with the design, manufacturing, electronics, and testing of the WEPED 2022 electric scooter. It's clear that a lot of thought and expertise went into creating this product. I would love to have a job in this field, so I can help design and build the next generation of electric scooters.
With the speed and level of development of these scooters it is hard to catch my breath. With the lack of available space to move efficiently in many places around the world this concept of transport makes so much sence.. I especially like the arched steering arm . The evolution is well underway. 👌
Small wheels, small graud clearance, at high speed in tide corner or lage bend, helps dive in imprevisible pothole. Forget personal... experience, but the catastrophic consequences caused to incoming traffic will not be forgivable.
The front right and left of that battery tray are so close to the ground i would be very concerned about that hitting some oddly placed drain cover or even curb or the like,,, you would fly for sure, right over the handle bars as your scooter stops abruptly.

Probably can raise it.... at high speed you wont be leaning so only a possible issue whilst doing sharp low turn or parking it... which is what he was doing in that vid. I did notice that though as I have a big scoot like this with big tyres. No issue.
