Wow. I really cannot comprehend how much you get done. I know the entire family is whole heartedly contributing, but a brand new baby, home made meals, all the preserving, a house to maintain, the never ending garden chores, 4 other kids needing time and attention, a hubby, home schooling. It’s so much. Then, to top it all off you always look gorgeous…even in 100 degree heat. It’s truly amazing! You’re amazing. Great video!
She is incredible, isn't she? And works in the garden at night with a headlamp as well!
Thank you! 💚
perfectly stated! 💖
You're incredible and so inspiring❤😊
She's young!
The joy that your daughter seems to get out of every little step she takes, it just always gets me.
35 minutes of becky talking to us about her garden - what a treat!
That was an incredible video of how much effort it takes to work these gardens. It is often not seen and this truly paints the picture of what hard work and determination goes into growing food with all the good, bad & ugly. And only those who do it themselves know this is how it truly goes …..I appreciate you!
I am so frustrated with bugs and staying organic makes it a job in itself. The pest pressure is intense here in The Bahamas where I live and we too are over 100 degrees everyday. Two hours every morning dedicated to watering and checking all the crop for pests and removing them. Seeing your children and husband so involved is heart warming. They see the importance. My husband is trying to be more involved this year with growing even though we both work in our construction company every day. It’s a mindset that you have to do it no matter how busy work is. Home comes first every morning and every evening. Love your channel ……
My hat is off to you my dear Lady. How do you do it all??? You have a beautiful family including a precious newborn, a beautiful home and an absolutely incredible garden and YOU are at the heart of it all! I pray for continued blessings over you, your husband and your entire family. Oh, and of course the garden!
Becky you and your family are amazing, you are very informative and you and your family just keep going, and going even in hot temperatures outside! It's so impressive what you all accomplish!! Fantastic day by day video!
Your daughter singing and picking tomatoes is sooo adorable and funny 😊
Excellent video! You are truly amazing stewards of your homestead. Your knowledge of when, where, what, how and why to plant in your garden is so valuable. Love Noel's tomato song and thank you Spiderman Cam! I can't handle those giant spiders either. Thanks for sharing!
It’s important to be able to drive and use all farm equipment. Good for you to recognize that and purchase something you can handle and are comfortable using.
I love how you let your kids and husband just be themselves on camera and show their silliness.
Crazy to see how much work truly goes into feeding your family!
You have to be the hardest working, most organized, dedicated, creative, determined, loving person I’ve ever seen. It is truly amazing to see what you accomplish. Goodness gracious.
Thank you so much!! That is super nice of you!
I discovered your channel because of your kimchi video and am so thankful I did. Cooking is my passion and with my foodie family, it's tough to find homesteaders who are not only trying to be self-sufficient but have flavorful recipe ideas.
I just planted a few tomato and carrot plants.
But taking care of the garden makes me so happy.
Tromboncino squash gets zero squash bugs and disease! It tastes exactly like zucchini and it’s 2-3’ long. You don’t have to worry about them getting too big. Pick them whenever you want, cook with or I grate loads and freeze for adding to meatloafs, sauces, zucchini bread
What a great video. With all the work in all the garden areas, taking care of your growing family and I guess cooking, laundry, etc. I don't know how you keep up. Altho I'm sure that your husband is very busy too. I'm glad to be a new subscriber. I'm from Central Oklahoma.
Ah you guys! This has been one of my favorite videos....But I am exhausted (and completely motovated) watching you! Thanks for including us!
I'd be interested to see even more recipes from you as you're processing. We tried the Cajun Black eyed peas and we all loved it too!
Wowza! I’m exhausted just watching you! And, with a new baby? You are super woman, and you have a great family team!
Great video! Amazing how much you get done as a family. I love hearing Noel sing....I still smile thinking of her singing her "June Bug" song to her chicken before you even built the house. 🐓🐔 From a previous video I learned about RX Soil from you. I sent my soil in for testing and found it to be invaluable to me in my gardening. I'm in Arizona, we have "sand" and that was about it. The process was quick and the information I received back from them was amazing. Instead of throwing everything I could think of in my garden to help the soil I now know EXACTLY what I had to do. I will be using them at least twice a year from now on!
I think you are amazing! I have worked a small plot , what you are achieving whilst taking care of a family and beyond is the most incredible acheivement. Congratulations, you are truly inspirational
These videos represent hardwork, really you guys are hard workers !!
My mind is boggled every time I watch you and this vid was astounding. I know that your whole family is wholly into this, but, dang ! Amazing.
So fun seeing the hard work you put in and showing the devastation due to various bugs etc, but how you keep up on top of it is mind blowing!! I just love watching the whole family act work and the amount of harvest you are able to put up is very impressive!! Thank you for sharing you wonderful journey to all that watch!! A friend from afar!! Dennis
Saludos hermosa familia Todo. Muy bello Dios los siga bendiciendo desde Chihuahua México 💐 y felicidades por ese hermoso bebé 🍼
Thank you for the daily perspective!
I watched with my fourth child, who is almost two weeks old, in my arms and felt like I could never do what you are doing. Luckily, I understand that you didn't make all that awesomeness happen overnight. I'll just focus on getting one or two rows prepped and cover cropped this fall so I can have the best start possible in the spring. Then, add another row after I feel more confident. So on and so forth!
Keep up the good work. Please keep showing us the reality and the beauty of your homestead. It is inspiring. 😊
Thank you!!
Yay!! Time lapse!! Woo hoo! Thank you for sharing this!❤❤❤
I love your videos! I do enjoy seeing how your garden and parent. Such a beautiful family all working together. Your daughter singing was so precious and your boys being silly made me smile. You all are amazing! God bless your household.
Omg one of my very favourite videos EVER...I love that it was longer...I wish all your vids were this long. I love that it was gardeny too...it was such a lovely treat to relax and watch at the end of a hard day.
What a wonderful idea, seeing into each day is helpful. There are so many things that come up and take over the "need" of your attention. You did such a great job at looking forward and making the best of everything. I enjoyed seeing all of the family chipping in with all kinds of help and fun. So happy that you shared this!!! Snakes aren't my friend... its interesting how we all have something!!!
This really illustrates that gardening is like working out. It needs to be consistent to be effective. Your flowers look beautiful.
Great video, thank you. You guys should be so proud of the family you’ve created ♥️
I have been watching your videos for sometime and truly enjoy them. You and your family are amazing. So thankful for you that they help you.
You are a Proverbs 31 wife and mother.
I love watching your videos you are so indepth about your garden! Hope you have a merry Christmas looking forward to your upcoming , seeding and gardening videos.
Love your Sabbath rest days.
Your son is hilarious I love it!!
Wow! Absolutely amazing video. Thank you for sharing this! What a lot of work AND so incredibly rewarding. Just the health benefits alone: the exercise & outdoor air, the benefit of working with family, and then eating the delicious NON SPRAYED, NON GMO, beautiful food. We should all be working towards goals like this. Thank you for being that beacon of light & showing the way to so many of us.
I bet those moments spent in the barn(?)/tent before your house was completed, seems like a lifetime ago in comparison to what you have created since, in such a short time. ❤fantastic
You are a truly wonderful woman, taking care of the children, housework, cooking and growing a garden with lots of fruits and vegetables. I don't know how you can do so much. You are truly amazing. Watching your videos motivates me a lot, I will also try to have a garden with lots of vegetables like that.
Your boy with all his facial expressions cracks me up!!
It is so sweet the way your children work right along side you
The cutworms are so frustrating, I admire your perseverance
Thank you for sharing this video! It reminded me of when my daughter was young and we used to schedule our day, now I live on the go, but I need to start making a schedule now that I have a garden.
You are blessed that your husband and children help you with the garden, because my husband didn't help until his dad showed him that I do need help at least with the tilling. I didn't mind because I've always worked in the garden at around 7 years old.
I love watching your kids helping out. You guys are amazing❤
Oh how I’ve missed seeing you and your family. You definitely work harder than most…I’m a lazy gardener compared to you. I can’t wait for the next video.❤
I look forward to all your new videos.
I have never seen gardens so well kept. Other channels I watch their garden areas become overtaken by weeds. They are not well maintained and look a mess. Your hard work really shows.
Thank you!
Brilliant video I just have a big smile when I watch the videos.
This was super cool to watch! Thank you for putting this all together! You and your family are amazing! 💕💕💕💕
Thanks for sharing this fantastic video! I know it was a ton of work, but so worth it. Your baby is growing fast! Much love from Kansas. 🌻
New subscriber. ❤❤❤Nurse Judi in Scottsdale AZ and Eucharistic Minister 🙏🏻
Welcome!
Thank you for always showing uplifting content.
Loved this video, it gives a real perspective on what exactly its like to grow everything you do, i love how the entire family help.
Seriously LOVED this video. I’ve wondered for a long time how your day-to-day looks. Understandably, your baby changes your flow but it’s nice to see all of the things you’re doing even through the heat. My garden was doing great this year but was taken over by bugs and then the heat destroyed it. Even still, I’m already planning for next year!
Loved seeing your days in the garden, family helping, having fun, making jokes. Cam joking about putting part on your roto tiller, only took a quick couple of seconds, made me laugh out loud.
Thank you for sharing all that you do, replying and sharing all your creative hacks too! You are a joy to watch!
Thank you!💚
Wow, what an incredible video Becky! Thank you for taking us along. You are a wonderful steward of that land and the food it produces.
You are truly amazing stewards of your homestead. I’d be interested to see even more recipes from you as you’re processing. Thank you for sharing you wonderful journey to all that watch.
Love your videos! (Your son's little antics thrown in are hilarious 😂)
Thank you for sharing your farm and family with us. 🙏🏼
I don't have silage tarps for carrots, of course I don't have NEAR the garden you do. Mine are in 8 x 4 raised beds. I use cardboard I soak with water for a few days. Mine worked just great also!
Definitely a good alternative to small plots. 😊
What a wonderful video. Definitely one of my favorites so far! I am always so motivated by your videos ♥️
Nice video! You really dedicate a lot of time to your garden!!! Becky you are truly an inspiration for us all 👍
I'm happy you're an avid gardener who is afraid of spiders, Becky 😂 gives me hope that I can pursue my gardening passions even with my terrible arachnophobia.
I love that you take a day to rest for Sabbath ❤. I remember thinking in one of your videos a few years ago that I wonder if she rests on Sunday to recharge and worship.
It’s good to teach children how to do
this kind of stuff. Groceries are too high in the stores. This is how I grew up on a farm. My dad had 40 acres but we didn’t use all of it for crops, but most of it. It was a lot to do. I don have a garden today. Y’all work so hard and it pays off. My dad had mules, then he got a tractor. It was slave work for us back then.
WOW!!!! Amazing ,and in the heat. You guys are awesome!!!
I can so relate about the spiders!! I’m a tough cookie like you are that can do a lot and handle a lot.
I cannot control how I scream and cannot get over my fear of spiders!
Such a wonderful video, showing the everyday events is reality! A beautiful family working together makes my Heart Sing! 💚💗💜
Fantastic video
So interesting to see some of the many aspects involved in keeping such a large garden that provides for your family.
Oh my! I just love when I see a new video from you guys pop up🥰 your kids are just adorable!! What beautiful hair the baby has🥰
Love your videos! Beautiful family working together always!! Super happy to know that you guys keep and rest in the Sabbath too! God with always bless your efforts in the garden and also bless you all!
Such A Beautiful Family. Love your Videos. Thank you! God Bless you guys!🧡🍁🧡🍂🧡
That was a really great video it's showed all the hard work and harvest ❤ BUT best of all it the whole family working together 🎉🎉🎉 It was lovely to see 😍😍😍 Thank you for sharing Love from the UK x
Fantastic video, Well done to you all ,Thank you for sharing
Verry nice to see all your family in the garden❤❤❤
Decades ago, I learned to make cutworm collars from strips of old paper or newsprint 2x2.5 inches to wrap around the stems. Then it biodegrades and it saves time.
I've trellised tomatoes in my greenhouse for close to 20 yrs. I have found using one plant with two leaders works better than a single leader. You'll get more fruit with fewer plants. I have humid conditions and the air flow is still fine. Keep the suckers cut. I let plants grow naturally and at about the 18 to 24 inch height the naturally want to branch and that's where the two leaders begin. Hope this helps.
Your garden is amazing. My Long Island Cheese pumpkins are getting big. I can't wait to make pumpkin bread. The Tango celery did awesome. I tried different squashes and tomatoes this year. I bought seeds to grown the lemon squash next year, can't wait. Thank you for another awesome video.
This was one of the best videos I've seen on your channel, and that's saying a lot! Oh, and this airman also loves all your Air Force gear!
Wow you’re so lucky you get that free wood mulch, I’m jealous, great job in garden for August. You all work so hard.
Hi there wow u all work so hard doing your garden and I am so happy that u r getting a lot back it's just amazing and as well your little one is a handsome little chap.x
I had a HUGE zipper spider in my arch with my long beans. It was bigger than I had ever seen. I watched her grow and grow, but always left her. They are fascinating, but I agree, spiders are not my favorite.
I feel exhausted from work just by watching you guys :D God bless you and your hard work
I love this! You guys work so hard!
I learn something new every time I watch your show thanks for sharing!!!! I wish I could be just a little bit as productive as you but I’m just learning and have a small back yard but next spring I have big plans
I LOVED this video. And thought nothing of the little audio clip until you mentioned it in your blog post. Didn’t detract from the video at all. This had to have been SO much work, thank you for sharing with us!!!
Thank you so much!! 💚 I appreciate you taking the time to tell me.
That was a really neat video to watch. Your so inspiring. Doing all this with a new baby too!!!
Even what you think is boring is motivating me!
The new mower/mulching machine is a wonder tool. That and the new tractor must have helped in pushing on through the August heatwave.
Sorry to read you’ve been poorly. Hoping you’re recovering and getting plenty of rest. 🙂
Thank you! I’m feeling better now.
Fabulous video, I really enjoyed this format. Oh my goodness you work hard. x
Really love this style of video!!!!
Your kid in the background at start walking 🚶😂😂🌹
Loved the month long journey!!!
Your channel popped up && I just started watching your videos!!! I already love them ~ so I’m subscribed and will be watching to see your family’s journey
Amazing!!!
Your video has a main character. 😀
One of your best videos!
As gardener in a much smaller space I know the work you put into your space! Your dedication is remarkable and inspiring!
We created an in ground space for corn, sunflowers and squash. I keep thinking we should plant a ‘cover crop’ but am curious how you decide what crop to plant. Is it actually something you’ll harvest and when? Or is it just something that will pull out easily before spring planting?
Thank you for sharing the month of August with us. It’s amazing what you and your family have accomplished on your homestead.
I enjoyed this video a lot❤ wow beautiful garden👍 and amazing harvesting❤❤
Amazing family!
I absolutely loved this video! ❤
Purchased the Freeze Fresh cookbook. LOVE IT! Thank you ❤
