Can we just make it clear that having OCD and being obsessive are two very different things. Like someone else has put in the comments, it not an adjective. Just use the word obsessive or something that is actually descriptive and not a mental illness. I like you're content a lot but please can we end this social issue with using the term OCD as a quirky personality trait instead of what it is - a tormenting condition that can make people seriously ill. Thank you ❤

    • @brokenandcraked

I have OCD. One of the ways it manifests for me is that my brain likes to designate how items should be placed in a room. If you were to go into my living room and shift my couch 2 inches to the left, not only would I immediately notice, but I physically can't do anything else until the couch is fixed. I have spent hours of my life trying to shift furniture to the exact millimetre it was at before being moved. It's bad enough that I can't have company over because they might move the furniture.
I've heard of people whose OCD manifested as the need to tap a door in a certain way before being able to open it. Some people need to perform tasks in a specific order.
The point is that there are many possible ways that people with OCD act because of the disorder. The behaviour in this video very well could be mild OCD.
I'm all for educating people about a mental illness. But the way you've gone about it with this comment is just coming off as virtue signalling and almost arrogantly preachy.

I really appreciate your videos, and generally they're super good, but just so that you're aware, OCD is a serious disorder that makes many MANY people's lives really difficult. It means that they struggle to live as we would expect due to rituals that they need to follow. Social media has made it seem silly, cute or quirky, but it isn't something that should be used as an adjective.
It makes complete sense if you weren't aware of this, so I'm not blaming you for anything, but i hope that this can help improve your understanding of OCD
