In this weeks episode we take a look at adding simple texture, rough edges, noise and animated image textures to your motion graphics or animations. This works with anything, uses just one adjustment layer, no plugins - and works on imported frames from Adobe Animate, which is great! Let's get right to it.

Great video. It might help if you zoom into the effects control in your video so we can more clearly see what changes you're making more easily. Great video though, thanks!

This was exactly what I was looking for yesterday-how did you know? Thank you so much!!
Happy to help!
I got a tiny question.
First of all - Great tut. Really helped me.
My question is -
I have created animation in Adobe Animate, and my background is green. Now, I want to apply texture only to that specific green color within my animation. Obviously, this green is of a very specific hue. I assume there must be a way to specify a mask to the texture layer that will follow a specific color that I should be able to eye-drop. But I cant find this option.
Any help?
Great tutorial, your tutorials are short ,yet packed with information,
Love it
But how do we add textures in adobe animate cc?
I'll do a tutorial on that too, because there is a way, but this is my preferred method.
@@TipTut thanks very much , im looking forward to it
are there a way to import textures from illustrator to after effect?
You can import the raw .ai file, but things like gradients etc won't be carried over.
