Too much oil no doubt. I give it just one drop on each side. Yet, thanks for an update. This just proves one more time, why para2 is such a legend among us. What a great knife :)
True, off camera I fiddled with it more, forgot a washer and just left what oil was there after I clean some of it. 👍 Indeed! Wish I bought more back then. 😅
Very nice! I remember watching your 6 year video and I was impressed at that time also. It just shows how durable and well designed these knives are, especially considering that you actually are using your knife and not babying it!
Awesome video! Have my Para 2 for about 5 years now and just did my first full tear down and cleaning. I can't believe how prices have gone up over the past few years on these knives. Thanks for sharing, can't wait until the 15 year cleaning! 👍
I use mine as an "assessment knife" before buying more exotic steel versions (which is the cru-wear), and sadly found out I don't need much more than S30V after beating and sharpening it for 5 years. It's now almost 1/4 inches shorter than new, and handles somewhat similar to a Para3 LOL
Alright you’ve convinced me. The next knife I buy will be a paramilitary 2
Hope you find a good deal on it. 🤗
Damn that DLC not being scratched a tiny bit really says something on the quality of the manufacturing, insane!
I know!
It is beautiful to see a well used knife. I can feel the love you have for the pm2. I have the cruwear version.
Thank you so much! Indeed! Oh very nice!
Wow...10 years.... I'm so excited as I just received my first Spyderco DLC.....a Paramilitary 2 SALT !!!!
Congrats on your new PM2 journey! 😎 I know, time flies! Is it the new Magnacut flavour?
YES....NOW classified as SALT!!!@@ultimateequipment23

@@ultimateequipment23 yeah, they are so expensive nowadays 🙃

A double thank you is in order. 🤗

Indeed, a proper benchmark. Oh wow 😁
They do make tremendous knives. My first ukpk has 12 years on the clock. I think I need to give it a spa too but it’s still fantastic 👌🏻
Time to coin "Spydie Spa" 😁
@@ultimateequipment23 do “Spydie Spa ASMR,” and whisper and do it all slowly and quietly and then just wait for the Kaching! 😄
In a Sean Connery accent 🤣
Great video. PM 2 is next on my list
Thank you. Mine is the PM3. Just to see how it handles.
