If your client was well-educated regarding Morgan Dollars he would’ve known an uncirculated 1888-S and an 1889-O can’t be bought for $20.00 each.

The curl on the forehead and the curl on the neck are the first two looks
The bell sound test works well
The Morgans in the holders are fake but the genuine one you had is cleaned
That is obviously a fake just from the weight - with that little wear it is simply not possible for it to be off even more than 0.1 grams and even that would be quite rare.
Just look at the mouth area on fake one totally gave it away to me
Do fake Morgan's have real silver
